japanese and spanish are pretty similar as far as pronunciation and inflections go, my japanese professor speaks flawless spanish and she sounds native, it’s really interesting
Well, you see, maybe they used for reference the spanish version of the song, because the pronunciation for syllables are the same in japanese and spanish with very little variations, the languages aren't related in any way but is interesting how countries of two different parts of the world share so many similarities like these.

@@sebasty1800 I can confirm, is pretty simple for us spanish speakers to pronounce japanese in respect of syllables conjugations and vice-versa (Also japanese people are really found on latin rhythms and are pretty good at performing them, like salsa, merengue, cumbia, tango, bossa nova etc.)

Ohira Ahiru (Dolores) is definitely someone to watch for. She's showing a lot of talent as a VA. Her other credit is voicing Vex in the JP dub for The Legend of Vox Machina.
I looked it up 'cause I was curious and the refrain "furecha dame Bruno no, no, no" basically translates to "do not touch (on the subject of) Bruno no, no, no". "Fureru" is a verb that means many things including "to touch, to feel" but it can also apparently be used to mean "to touch (upon a subject), to allude to" sort of like how in English we might say "today I'd like to touch on the topic of global warming" or something like that. I think that's really cool. "Dame" translates to "cannot" or "shouldn't" but can also mean "bad" or "useless". So to say "furecha dame" means I/you/we shouldn't or can't speak of something. The last part, "Bruno no, no, no" is a holdover from English obviously since his name is Bruno and the Japanese word for no (which is "iie") wouldn't have worked as well here. Also it would've been somewhat redundant since you already have "dame" meaning "don't". Nonetheless, I'm sure most Japanese speakers will probably recognize the word "no" and it's meaning in English even if they don't really speak English.
The fact that they were able to keep the rhythm and make it sound appealing to sound, they obviously weren't able to keep the amazing rhymes in the original but they got very close
I'm so proud that Hatanaka Tasuku (Camillo) is in a Disney movie, and a musical at that! If you guys didn't know his father is Hatanaka Hiroshi, known for voicing Flynn Rider/Eugene Fitzherbert and Pumbaa (Lion King 1½ onwards), which I think it's really cool that he followed his father's footsteps. Plus also that he's Yozora in KH3, which is technically a Disney game...? His singing voice is amazing, but I also feel there's this theatrical quality to it, fitting for a Disney character

I looked it up 'cause I was curious and the refrain "furecha dame Bruno no, no, no" basically translates to "do not touch (on the subject of) Bruno no, no, no". "Fureru" is a verb that means many things including "to touch, to feel" but it can also apparently be used to mean "to touch (upon a subject), to allude to" sort of like how in English we might say "today I'd like to touch on the topic of global warming" or something like that. I think that's really cool. "Dame" translates to "cannot" or "shouldn't" but can also mean "bad" or "useless". So to say "furecha dame" means I/you/we shouldn't or can't speak of something. The last part, "Bruno no, no, no" is a holdover from English obviously since his name is Bruno and the Japanese word for no (which is "iie") wouldn't have worked as well here. Also it would've been somewhat redundant since you already have "dame" meaning "don't". Nonetheless, I'm sure most Japanese speakers will probably recognize the word "no" and it's meaning in English even if they don't really speak English.

If you guys didn't know his father is Hatanaka Hiroshi, known for voicing Flynn Rider/Eugene Fitzherbert and Pumbaa (Lion King 1½ onwards), which I think it's really cool that he followed his father's footsteps. Plus also that he's Yozora in KH3, which is technically a Disney game...?
His singing voice is amazing, but I also feel there's this theatrical quality to it, fitting for a Disney character
