4“Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?
    Tell me, if you understand.
5Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!
Who stretched a measuring line across it?
6On what were its footings set,
    or who laid its cornerstone-
7while the morning stars sang together
and all the angelsa shouted for joy?

Another explanation, to add to the fine ones presented, is when God said, "Let us make man..." there was no one there but God. God created all things, before there was anything or anyone there, "in the beginning." The Apostle Paul tells us God works all things "who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will..." A counsel is more than one and God's counsel is what is listed in Isaiah 11:2, known as the 7 spirits of the LORD. Thus, "Let us..."

I'm trying to not read things into the Bible that aren't there. I want to read what is there without adding too much speculation; but, that's hard because I can't read the original language it was written in.
This is the most basic first step in understanding the Bible--Who is God? Is God one person, a trinity, or a group of individuals? But, it seems that no one really even knows the answer to this; but, it's all speculation. Sigh

->Jesus POINTS the FATHER his ONLY TRUE GOD.
“After saying all these things, Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “FATHER, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so he can give glory back to you……And this is life eternal, that they might know YOU(FATHER) the ONLY true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you hast sent.”(John 17:1&3)
“Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto MY FATHER, and your Father; and to MY GOD, and your God.”(John 20:17)
“At that time Jesus said, "I praise YOU, FATHER, LORD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH”,(Matt. 11:25, Luke 10:21)
--Jesus NEVER address himself as GOD, NEVER include himself, NEVER point himself as GOD. But he POINT the FATHER his ONLY TRUE GOD.
->The Apostles also POINT ONE GOD, and that is the FATHER
“For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,).BUT TO US THERE IS BUT ONE GOD, THE FATHER, OF whom are all things, and we in him; and ONE LORD JESUS CHRIST, BY whom are all things, and we by him.”(1 Cor. 8:5-6)
"ONE GOD AND FATHER of all who is over all and through all and in all. "(Eph. 4:6)
->Both Christ and the Apostle TEACH ONE GOD and that is the FATHER.
->Besides if we point JESUS as GOD. Why Jesus (SON) DOES NOT KNOW WHEN was his (JESUS, SON) SECOND COMING(JUDGEMENT DAY, END OF THE WORLD)
      As MARK 13:32 stated
“But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, NEITHER THE SON (JESUS), BUT THE FATHER.”(Mark 13:32)
---So If Jesus is GOD Why Apostle MARK said that
“No one knows when that day or time will be. The Son(JESUS) and the angels in heaven don’t know when that day or time will be. Only the Father(TRUE GOD) knows.”
Because ONLY THE TRUE GOD(FATHER) KNOWS when His(FATHER) son’s(JESUS) SECOND COMING(JUDGEMENT DAY, END OF THE WORLD)
---Any Church or priest, pastor, minister, reverend or wizard that teaching or having the doctrine that ”Jesus is GOD” is a FALSE teacher or a FALSE church. BEWARE of them and don’t let them DECEIVE you.

      ->Jesus Christ is a MAN(HUMAN) before(John 8:40) and after(Luke. 24:39) resurrection, even when he reached heaven(Heb. 10:12).
      Before resurrection:
“But now you seek to kill me, A MAN who was told you the truth which I heard from God.” (John 8:40)
      After resurrection:
“Behold MY HANDS AND MY FEET, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; FOR A SPIRIT HATH NOT FLESH AND BONES, as ye see me have.” (Luke. 24:39)
      When he reached heaven:
"BUT THIS MAN, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God" (Heb. 10:12)
“Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, A MAN approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know.”(Acts 2:22)
“For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, THE MAN Christ Jesus,”(1 Tim. 2:5)
In fact, those people/group that deny or do not acknowledge that our Lord Jesus Christ is a human are called by the Bible as ANTI-CHRIST.
“There are a lot of smooth-talking charlatans loose in the world who refuse to believe that Jesus Christ was TRULY HUMAN, a flesh-and-blood human being. Give them their true title: DECEIVER! ANTICHRIST! “(2 John 1:7, MSG)

->GOD is never a MAN(HUMAN) and never CHANGE/TRANSFORM. WHY? BIBLE SAID:
“I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I AM GOD, AND NOT MAN; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.”(Hosea 11:9)
“Descendants of Jacob, I am the LORD All-Powerful, and I NEVER CHANGE.” (Malachi 3:6, CEV)
“Every good gift and perfect present comes from God, the Creator of heavenly lights, WITH WHOM IS NO VARIABLENESS, NEITHER SHADOW OF TURNING, (James 1:17, KJV) WHO DOES NOT CHANGE “(James 1:17, TEV)
"GOD IS NOT A MAN, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?.” (Numbers 23:19, NKJV)
->God is spirit and has no flesh and bones nor physical/material form unlike man.
“GOD IS A SPIRIT: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”(John 4:24)
“…FOR A SPIRIT HATH NOT FLESH AND BONES …”(Luke. 24:39)
“Then the LORD spoke to you out of the fire. You heard the sound of words BUT SAW NO FORM; there was only a voice”(Det. 4:12)
“And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD HIS VOICE NOR SEEN HIS FORM, “(John 5:37)
      ->A MAN(HUMAN) IS NOT GOD
“SON OF MAN, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; YET THOU ART A MAN, AND NOT GOD, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God.”(Ezekiel 28:2)
---Therefore a God can NEVER be a MAN(human form), Cause God already stated that He is not a MAN(human form) and he NEVER CHANGE.

      @ Gio Alverez. Excellent summation. We can also go to Revelation 3: 12-14: and read Jesus' own words from heaven where he refers to HIS GOD four times;
Revelation 3:12-14 American Standard Version (ASV)
12 He that overcometh, I will make him a pillar in the temple of MY GOD and he shall go out thence no more:
and I will write upon him the name of MY GOD and the name of the city of MY GOD, the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from MY GOD, and mine own new name. 13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.
14 And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the BEGINNING of the creation of God:
We must also note the last sentence where Jesus calls himself the "faithful and true witness" and further declares that he [Jesus] was the beginning of Gods creation.

What's funny is that ppl don't ask who God was talking to before v.26. He was talking to His creation. So in 26 He was engaging His creation.

I really don't think that makes any sense. What I get from that statement is that God himself is a spirit, in order for man to have a physical body, God would have had to form man out of something, hence, dirt, bones, particles from the earth. The Earth and God make up man, God and Man were one before the fall, sin came about and separated Man from God, and finally were were restored back into Gods royal family through the resurrection and crucifying of Jesus Christs.

What is the IMAGE/FORM of God that is being referred to in Gen. 1:26& Phil 2:6?
“Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our IMAGE, in our LIKENESS”(Gen. 1:26)
“who, BEING IN THE FORM OF GOD, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God” (Phil. 2:6)
--It should be NOTED first. That God does NOT have material/physical form(JOHN 5:37, Deut. 4:12, Deut. 4:15-20). God is a SPIRIT and a SPIRIT does NOT have FLESH AND BONES. (JOHN 4:24, LUKE 24:39) That’s why Jesus and the Apostles described God as INVISIBLE. (JOHN 5:37, ROM. 1:20, COL. 1:15, 1 TIM 1:17)
Also, God NEVER CHANGE/TRANSFORM, neither God has a shadow of turning.(MAL. 3:6, JAMES 1:17)
--That’s why God said that a GOD CAN NEVER BE A HUMAN. (Numbers 23:19, NKJV) And a HUMAN CANNOT BE A GOD. (Ezekiel 28:2)
That’s why God himself declared that he is NOT a HUMAN
“I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I AM GOD, AND NOT MAN; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.”(Hosea 11:9)
--If God does NOT HAVE physical/material form. Then, why God said “Let us make mankind in our IMAGE, in our LIKENESS”?
--God was NOT referring to a MATERIAL/PHYSICAL image. So, what image was God is referring to in Gen. 1:26& Phil. 2:6??
“And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, WHICH AFTER GOD IS CREATED IN RIGHTEOUSNESS AND TRUE HOLINESS.”(Eph. 4:23-24, KJV)
“Be that new person who was MADE TO BE LIKE GOD, TRULY GOOD AND PLEASING TO HIM.”(Ep. 4:24, ERV)
“and to put on the new man, which, according to God, was created in righteousness and kindness of the truth.”(Ep. 4:24, YLT)
“Put on your new nature, created to be like God-truly righteous and holy.” (Ep. 4:24, NLT)
--If we follow the line of argumentation of the TRINATARIANS that God created man in his image. Then we would come up to the conclusion that God (FATHER,SON,HOLY SPIRIT) has 2 Genders. Coz Gen. 1:27 states; “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; MALE AND FEMALE HE CREATED THEM.”
And that is a WEAK AND WRONG LINE OF ARGUMENTATION.

      GENESIS 1:26 WHY PLURALITY?
It is admitted that Genesis 1:26 implies plurality. But plurality simply means “more than one.” Why limit the number to three and why involve the Son and the Holy Spirit?
We should notice that nowhere in the verse does not it state that the pronouns “us” and “our” refer to the “Word” or the “Holy Ghost” as you suggest. God alone created all things (Gen. 1:27; Is. 44:24; 37:16). Then whom was the Lord referring to with the pronouns “us” and “our”? The Father was referring to those who were already in existence then-the Cherubs or the angels (Job 38:4-7; Gen. 3:22, 24). God is acknowledging the presence of the Cherubs or the angels for HE is about to create a being/human in their likeness who will know and will embody God’s image which is righteousness and holiness(Eph. 4:24).

Job 38:7 the angels were present at creation. And also, like at the tower of babel, let US go down and confound them... There was no side kick son, hanging out with pop they eternity, creating for him, because God was not able, so be had to get the son to do it for him... Trinity deception is so full of holes... On the surface your question may seem like it makes sense but when you dig deeper it lacks common sense. God created ALL things including the community of men and women. In other words we live in a REAL world where there are teachers who are gifted to help bring light as you may be gifted in another area.

Happy63funny Sometimes God causes a stumbling block to put to shame the "wise and strong."
1 Corinthians 1:25-31New International Version (NIV)25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.26 Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth.27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things-and the things that are not-to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him. 30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God-that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.31 Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”[a]
