Verses Used to Support the Trinity - Isaiah 9:6

- The prophecy in Isaiah 9:6 calls the Messiah “mighty God” and “everlasting Father.” Although this seems to identify him as God, many men with authority in Scripture are called “god,” and some Bibles translate “el” as “divine hero” or “mighty leader.” “Everlasting” is also translated as “age” and “father” often refers to an “important person.” Thus, this verse can legitimately prophesize Jesus as leader of the coming Messianic Age.
Verses: Isa. 9:6; Ps. 82:1-7; John 10:34; Ezek. 31:11; 32:21; Isa. 9:1-5

Christ is Lord.
Informative presentation. Simply explained. Trinitarians who use this verse fail to understand that they are esposing modalism which theyu view as heresy. In the doctrine of the Trinitym the person of the Father is not the person of the Son.
So repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit
Amen! This is the means by which we obey the gospel unto salvation. THIS is grace!

I wasnt taught this, but I now believe it soooooo......
Who is God?
Who is the Holy Spirit?
The God of the Bible is YHWH (Jehovah) . This is the God that Jesus prayed to and worshiped. The Holy Spirit is not a Who but a What. If you look at all the references to the Spirit in the OT, you see it is a ;power/force emanating from God. The Bible does use personification. In the NT no name is ever given to the HS. The Spirit is personifies as the Helper/ advocate and so following the rules of Greek Grammar, it becomes a He. However, elsewhere , the Spirit is an it.
Isaiah 9:6 is talking about King Hezakiah of the Davidic line during the Assyrian empire during the rule of Sennacherib. Yah is the ONLY God!
True
I like this interpretation, u usaly get on my nerves but this isnt too bad , like the interpretation of father.
