Yosh gotta be the funniest summon to fight with, I don't mind taking aggro on a boss and this lil guy really the perfect summon for my playstyle, can't stop using, we were really going all out against Malenia the other day.
The summons from the normal game do well in the dlc The Banished Knights Oleg and Engvall are great at dealing stance damage as well as Huges with his magic, the Lhutel has the teleports that help a lot because he can dodge many blows and Tiche uses destined death, Olga is an excellent archer and knows how to do well in melee combat, Kristoff and a tank that maintains its stance, the Redmane Soldiers are very aggressive which is good And the Summon of the demi-humans is good for dealing with groups. Other summons that I think are Finlay and Fioh, but they have the posture problem, Finlay attacks from a distance with the light rings and can turn around in melee and inflict rot this effect takes a long time to act in her case she doesn't have a good Well, if she had a greater balance or rot effect was faster would be good, Fioh It bleeds well and is agile but doesn't have a good posture unfortunately.
What's more impressive than the summons soloing all these bosses. Is his aim with heal from afar. He's definitely done some practice. I either hit the floor in front of me or watch it zoom past the target 😅
Its unfortunate how large the the gap in difficulty is between using summons and not using them. No matter how difficult a battle is without summons its immediately trivialized upon using any of the good ones. Wish it was balanced more in the middle.
@@shadowmich they may have changed his bitboxes, because on release that moves hitboxes were incredibly annoying, nothing busted or broken but it added in some difficulty that wasnt needed
My experience is that as you get into NG+ several levels the DLC enemies get much "smarter" (and stronger, but that wouldn't be an issue if they stayed dim-witted). So for anyone trying this stuff at higher journey levels (+4 or 5 is where it seems to start feeling "not easy" anymore) - beware - bosses and higher level enemies are not going to fall for your summons tricks - they are going to come after you and hit you hard. Beyond a certain point (maybe when you totally max out) it will get "easy" again - from what I've seen; I have not maxed out yet. That said... I have alway loved strategizing with the summons', and it is a lot of fun to play through in that mode. Although recently, I have to say that bonking with the giant sunflower is just funny as anything (and it bonks good).
Seems like a pretty viable strat. Some of the bosses I've managed to beat so far it was mostly luck that got me through. I can be good at elden ring, but the level of pissed off I have to reach to get there is not practical lol.
Ima be honest….those 2 skeleton warriors from the base game are amazing. Especially against a single enemy boss. You got two skeletons….and it’s hard to focus on you, a decoy and the decoys brother. Worst case theyll take out one and down the other and I run up and chunk a quarter of its health while the second skeleton revives itself. On just one play. Then proceed to fight like hell trying to keep the second teammate alive. It’s a narsty combo no matter your loadout
you heal them lol, even rats can kill radan if you heal them fast enough, I remember times when mimic could kill boss while youre in corner sleeping, now it barely survives to second phase
True. In that... easiest in terms of playing it the way it was meant to be played. Which is using summons. Play it in other ways though... yeah it can be hard af lol
This is amazing and all but gets boring. Having the AI win for you means you just sit back and watch. Fun to watch but not fun if you actually wanna play. I recently started palm blasting everything. Hasn't gotten old yet haha
That is such a fun solo playthrough idea, The Summoner, that I'd never have thought of.
Well done, mate. 👌
Glad you enjoyed it!
The fact that Andreas almost immediately used his Lickitung attack on Messmer was pure gold
Yeah golden to watch

I cheered when you pulled out Oleg! He is my absolute favorite summon: I brought him everywhere with me.
What about mimic tear

wait it doesn't auto target , wth Elden ring
This entire video is astonishing! Your mastery of the game is incredible🙏
Appreciate that ❤️
That was fun to watch. Congrats on getting that done :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Tayler is the goat of the dlc, his punches send bosses to the grave..I am so proud my boy is number one summon spirit, in the dlc
Taylew is just absurd

Very fun to watch, good job. Ok now I want to try it! 😄
Appreciate it
I feel like that breath attack the Divine Beast did in the begining shoud've hit. When he missed the jump
Same here
I was wondering the same thing :p, why make a mechanic if it doesn't even actually hit you where u can see it wouldve
@@shadowmich they may have changed his bitboxes, because on release that moves hitboxes were incredibly annoying, nothing busted or broken but it added in some difficulty that wasnt needed
Since your summon isn't you, this is basically winning with just healing incantations, very clever strategy superbly demonstrated, impressive!
♥️♥️
That was fun to watch! Well done
Appreciate it 😁
Another great episode

Now that I'm looking. Your character kinda resembles Kriemhild from DS3
POV player : WHAT IS THAT BOSS
Also player : Spawns a IA with no conscious
IA : Ez bosses

I gotta try this with dung eater xD

I think I'll call it the "Pokemon build".

Using a fire knight summon in a water arena is an interesting choice

I think mimic is still the best alongside Tiche, Taylew comes a close 3rd.
Watching this makes me want make a faith only build.
I prefer spirit ash tiche.
Let's go for one more run 😁
Dang, I think I gotta go max out Andreas. 😁👍
My spirit summons are still broken. Thanks 1.12

is that look a mod? :)
No
Heal from afar isn’t healing my summon 😢😢 please help.

Isnt jolan and Anna the best spirit summon?
I don't think so
@Cellthegamer oh so it's talew the golem

Can't really call it a solo if you're healing them constantly DD for sure but is it really a fight if your bro don't have your back?
Do you think any summon can solo bosses without healing ? 😂 Bro this is like the pacifist run 😉
