Looking at Spider-Man Origin's description, the suit was made by one of the co-creator of the movie himself a year prior to the making of the film for halloween. Aside from the film being good, the description of the youtube video is super sweet because it shows you everyone that worked on it and it seems they were all really good friends working together to make something great
Dan Poole literally put his own life on the life just for some legit Spider-Man swinging scenes. That man was goddamn DEDICATED. Where was that kind of dedication for Spider-Man Lotus?
Dude the green goblins last stand is one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen. The dedication to make this fan film that feels like you’re watching one of the early comics is amazing
I think it's charming that the lower budget films that probably took a few weeks or a month to make have more love put into them than the higher budget film which took a year to make
Have to consider a few things about this actually, the lower budget films have less money to use therefore less things to work with, therefore less work due to a general lack of resources to put into that work
The reasons to why spider-man: cake day’s suit doesn’t look as good as it should is because Peter France (the director + suit maker) was making this for school, so he had a deadline. It was pretty much his first (and only) spider-man suit he’s made so there’s obviously a struggle to find out what looks good. The reason he couldn’t/ didn’t think to change aspects of the suit that didn’t look good (the eyes and logo) is because he already had the 3d model of Spider-Man and with the ~120 VFX shots he had to do, time was more of a concern over the suit.
I absolutely love how dark and brutal Spider-Man Eclipse is, the film gives me the amazing Spider-Man 2012 vibes and I really love how the suit looks in that film and it almost seems like it can be handcrafted by an actual teenager in reality and I love how the fabric almost looks stitched and how the mask looks in that film! For me personally Spider-Man: Eclipse Is my number one favorite Spider-Man fan film if you love a more darker Spider-Man take
I never knew how much I wanted a Spider-Man horror film until watching the green goblins last stand. From the music, to the way it’s shot and the knowledge of the impending doom of Gwen Stacy all give off the feeling of dread and fear.
There’s one fan film that I used to watch as a kid, but can’t find it nowadays. It starts with Spider-Man driving a car and fighting someone in a parking garage/warehouse. I used to rewatch it almost everyday
@@yungboitj yeah I hate when I forget stuff like that but maybe you'll come across it somehow! That's happened to me with a few childhood favorite cartoons I had forgotten recently

According to the description of "Spider-Man: Origin" on UA-cam, the maker of the film himself made the costume, not a professional. He made it for Halloween, which is funny considering how amazing it turned out for a short film suit!
1969 Fan film and Peter's Web are also amazing fan-films they've primitive in effects, but you can sense there was love to the character in making them
If you didn't watch yet, please give a chance to Spider-Man: Panopticon. It's a brazilian Fan Film with english subtiles, also have a trailer in english dub. I really like how they apporach Spidey in this film 😃🕸
@@rafaelmdss the costume they made is freaking awesome, the only thing i find bad, was the back logo of the suit, but aside of that, the suit is perfect
Miles Morales: Final Day was also pretty good. In fact, "A Centipede Returns to the Spiderverse" based most of its plot on that film's premise, while throwing in some ITSV and PS4 jokes, and also making fun of Tom Holland. Plus, it was fun having Morlun and Ciem find out their universes are intangible to one another, so they're ghosts to each other. Thus forcing Candi to have to get clever just to land a hit. And thereby allowing Tom to figure out a workaround, and redeem himself for being so useless in the beginning.
There's some behind the scenes stuff for Spider-Man Cake Day that explains why Spider-Man costume's logos look so weird actually. I haven't watched it in a while, but if I remember correctly, the suit's logos broke off the suit in the middle of filming and they had to keep glueing it back. You can see the haste job in some shots too.
HELL YEAH!!!! I absolutely loved Spider-Man: Eclipse I really loved how it had a more of a darker tone and how the suit looks stitched and everything about the film looks absolutely cool!
Dan Pool deserves to be the next Spider-Man in something like the Sony movies at least. The stuff he did to get that movie made as perfect as it was were insane, and he worked tirelessly on it. He inspired a lot of shots from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man movie, and even did some things that film did before it.
Not sure if this one counts, but Spider-Man Noir Concept by Ruben Maldonado has incredible fight choreography utilizing enemy firearms and his webs. Masterclass of Spidey fight filmmaking.
I love this video! It can get really tiring hearing endless negativity, especially when spiderman lotus was my first real introduction to spiderman fan films. it's a nice change of pace after the horribleness of spiderman lotus to see some appreciation for small artists
Who needs “I missed the part where that’s my problem” when we got “Sorry pal, that’s your job. From now on I’m looking out for number one, and that means me. I’m done being pushed around!”
12:44 Yeah in spider man and his amazing friends cartoon 1982 or 82 they animated the episode telling the same origin, of the cop telling Peter Parker where the crook was and even the hallway scene, I thought it was pretty weird a little bit to. imo the spider-man eclipse suit is dope asf, it actually looks like what a teenager would make with a small amount of money instead of the millions of dollars worth of the suits on the big screen
My favorite will and always will be “A Friend Called Spider-Man” because it made me cry really hard and it nails the character of Spider-Man with no action.
I love how in climax's of Spider-Man Origin uses the trailer music from Darkman, it's like they knew that Raimi was gonna direct Spider-Man 1 a decade after.
One I really recommend that I don’t see here is Viva Spider-Man from 1989. It’s a fun live action adaptation of 2 episodes of the weird era in the 60s series. The creator even went on to work on the 90s Animated Series!
