Longtime friends Adam Duritz of ‪@CountingCrowsOfficial‬ and Chris Carrabba of ‪@dashboardconfessional‬ catch up ahead of their upcoming tour.
Having met 20 years ago at Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit, Duritz and Carrabba have been close since. In their conversation, they share the story of how they met that fateful weekend, why Carrabba enlisted Duritz to sing on “So Long, So Long,” and Duritz revealed that the bands’ joint tour has been in the works for 20 years.

These two guys are absolutely the most underrated lyricists and performers in the music industry. The geniune, raw, emotional delivery of their music is incredible. Saw Chris back in the late 90's around Boca a few times. He is one of the most down to earth artists with the ability to craft lyrics that twist your emotions in different ways as you listen over and over. Adam writes and delivers his music in ways that you cant help but feel connected to the protaganist in each of his songs. The vulnerability that both of these guys are willing to put out there allows the fans to feel so close and connected to them. Two amazing men incredibly talented and underappreciated in the music world. Quite frankly, im glad to have discovered their work very early and to hold them dear to my soul.
