Im currently trying to build a baja warrior with a gx270 (same size as a 301) and this is really helping. I didnt know what i was going to do about fitting the engine on and the air filter but i think i will do what you did.

17:00 what causes the tire to spin and how do you make it stop spinning? I read in the comments on another video where the guy started his up and his mini bike went flying into the side of his house causing damage to his mini bike. So I want to avoid that happening since it seems to happen to a lot of people and catches them off-guard.

Cool thanks....yea it should i havnt messed with it....wait till you see it....impulse buy,saw it pop up on cl sat morning and hopped in my suburban amd drove 2 hours each way for it...$150😂 everything brand new only 15 mins on it...jetx3 bigger and imulsion tube,exhaust,intake...i have to count the clutch sprocket....i want to get a torque converter for it if i dont sell it/flip it.....it would be better for in the woods messing around
Badass! I’m looking to build a mini bike. I’d love to put a 420 on but can’t seem to find a frame that would hold a motor that size. Any pointers? You can really tell when your bike hits the sweet spot. Seems to open up
the only thing that kind of scares me. i think you need some kind of gusset under the tank, front triangle area. pretty sweet. i also like the air cleaner adapter. good work guys
What kind of clutch did you use where you get it from and how long did it last I bought a clutch that was ready for 13 horsepower less than about a week and a half from my 357cc Yamaha now I bought a torque converter that's also rated for f****** 13 horsepower less than about the same amount of time because I thought my motor was only 10 horsepower sandbag myself
Do you have it on a minibike or a gokart?...we got this one from ebay for 100 dollars..its holding up so far but is slow out of the hole..65+mph..these clutches for the big blocks don't hold up on gokarts..its just to much weight..unless u gear it down bigtime

You have alot of choices here.. -buy a net motor from harbor freight for 120 dollars -change rear sprocket to a larger size -or..it could be you need a new clutch.. Ikr I thought it was either cape coral or n ft myers I moved down to cape coral back in 05 and built a new house for cheap than the housing recession hit in 08 and I moved back to ct but I love how flat and straight the roads are down there I would love to be able to open up my monster moto with a built 212 and see what it could do
I bought a coleman ct200u-ex has the 6.5 love it but i bought a 420 predator to slap in it what all do i need for the swap i seen that the 6.6 has a 3/4 shaft on it and my 420 is 1" correct can you send me links for what i need like my centrifugal clutch i nerd and any other little stuff....man yours is bad af btw great job smart Ingenuity

@@abdulkamau2862 it's not about the power..its about the torque..that 301 will have way more torque than a 212 and will allow you to adjust the gearing for the best acceleration and top speed!
@@boatdoctors no he was holding choke cause high vibrations cause it to shut itself thus killing the engine so he has to hold it. I've done this before

40 series TC. would take up alot of your slack in the chain. Might have to run a chain roller tensioner on it. Thats along chain travel.

We got the clutch off ebay..pretty much the first 1 inch clutch that pops up..and it seems to be holding up..thx for watching

Sounds like you have a bad clutch or no clutch

I think it's a 50 tooth on the rear and a 16 on the clutch..and I think all the rears are the same..I think..hmu if u have anymore questions brother!

You can really tell when your bike hits the sweet spot. Seems to open up
If you wanna 420cc u almost have to mod the frame..haven't found one yet that will fit this motor without mods..thx for watching friend
