You guys are two of the luckiest dudes. I can't believe Go Powersports just let you do whatever you wanted to make that bike. With a 420 beneath the seat it doesn't really seem right to call it 'mini' anything now. Very cool!
I have sold so many of those exact same mini bikes at work. I remember one day i wondered why they was so popular, so i hopped on one for a test ride. I am not ashamed to admit that they are quick little fun suckers. Also love the work you do guys, and it has inspired me a bit on picking up a few future projects. Keep it up!
This video inspired my to build a 440cc version of this. Makes 18hp and 26.6ft lbs of torque, then put a header, drilled the fuel jet out a a couple thousandths, performance air intake and torque converter, I got it geared down and it still goes 50mph without a struggle.
I'm no saftey patrol, but damn I hope you fellas cover that torque converter pulley. Thats really close to taking a big bite out of someones calf. Kickass build though gents!
CarsandCameras You guys should build a 670cc drag bike. Make it as low profile as possible, long frame -- a genuine drag bike, meant to haul ass in a straight line.
My Uncle Steve Darnell had a Heath kit mini boonie bike and he said I could have it. I rebuilt the whole thing. The motor has never been rebuilt same as it was in the 60's. I pulled on the whole thing for 3 hours untill it started. I put it back together, and now have a mini bike. I watch these videos because I like to see people build new thing and make things better. I have been subbed since 5k and live watching all if your stuff! Keep it up I enjoy these kinds of videos
Reminds me of when I put a briggs 8hp on my mini bike with a torque converter, except I chopped the top of the frame off and used plywood and zipties as a seat for testin purposes... She pulled hard and kept on pullin and it was a genuinely adrenaline and fear-filled first ride!
When I built my Baja I put a front brake on it to help the stopping. Just get a another rear wheel, and rear brake kit. It's not hard to do. I also got an enduro light kit and put the wiring and components in the tank. It was a fun project!
Guys Yall did that I think the tanks really topped it of good job can't wait for footage ripping this thing up mountains and what y'all do to the other bikes
You guys inspired me to dig out my old Trailmaster that has been sitting for 6 years and put a 420 in it. It's almost done and I am making a video as well!
If those are the stock brakes, highly recommend upgrading them. On my ct200u, the stock brakes didn't last long *at all*, swapped them for EBC 304G brakes and they're way stronger and way quieter.
Been thinking if u going up long hills then down long hills u should put the fuel pipes pointing different ways and have a tap to choose which 1!av the 1 with the pipe facing back for uphill and tutha yen for down the way!
I'm glad to see the video I hope to see more, some speed test wheelies drag racing and for sure upgrades head works crank flywheel power power power make it scary
If you add a rack on the back like the red ct200u, can you mount the original gas tank the 420 came with on the back instead of spending an atm and leg for the other gas tanks
A word of advice: weld some gussets on the steering head tube. I've had a Baja 220 for a while and have recently noticed a few hairline cracks around that area.
CarsAndCameras Shopping List: Hammer Drill Plasma Cutter Do I sense a "Thanks GoPowerSports!" in the future? Also, put a real tank on the top and remove the faux one.
CarsandCameras sorry to say but that's kinda disappointing because I put a 212cc on the Monster motor bike like you did stock motor and I got it to 45 and no torque converter
Nice job crazy rides I have 212cc predator on baja doodlebug db30 I wanna put headers and carb what part number I get from gopowersports let me know thanks
What would make installing these predator/Honda engines easier is if someone made a real fuel tank to replace the fake tank/storage compartment....go power sports? I see a opportunity here. ☺
Can you please tell me where you got the clamps for the tanks. I’m doing the exact same build with a 440 duromax. I’ve got it all together but can’t find the clamps to mount the tanks to the top plate. Thanks
Guess they looked smaller on the video, but I still think a real tank would be cool, I really don't like fake gas tanks, not trying to knock your build, looks like hella fun and plenty fast, wish I was going to Colorado with y'all, be safe
It would need a new tank, it looks like a plastic storage bin, the door fell off on the test ride, don't think it could be made functional, and too small to hide those tanks in, but many minibikes and small motorcycles have tanks close to that size, hydro dip it in the same camo, it would;d look stock
That thing doesn't look too bad actually...to help with aero y'all should do some custom fenders & fairings so you've got a Coleman mini sportbike...could probably retrofit some off a ninja 250/300 or whatever Kawasaki or yamaha or any of big 3 is making these days.
Isn't that a fuel tank on the top rail of the frain in front of the seat? I think adding a couple of fuel tanks for reserve is a very good idea but on a trip up into co. extra fuel is going to be needed to carry along with you on the trip anyways, thus make a small trail trailer to go behind it to carry along gear and tools and camping gear.
You guys are two of the luckiest dudes. I can't believe Go Powersports just let you do whatever you wanted to make that bike. With a 420 beneath the seat it doesn't really seem right to call it 'mini' anything now. Very cool!
i think their part of go powersports now
The plastic tank without the cover would be an awesome place to put a tablet with gps and speedo!!!!
Or an adult beverage
Don’t forget the blunt holder
Ross Yah Right nahh
Or a puppy
@@yourprayersmeannothing Lol, we just got a Great Dane puppy, and at 3 mos., he's already WAY too big.

Richard Higgins I have a rm 80 two stroke dirt bike that hits 82 mph stock
@@bradbacorn4398 rm80s have about 26 hp
@@connorssmallengines6663 and a 2 stroke lmao
If you guys ever need a prize to give away, a chance to build a bike at Go Powersports would be awesome.

Chevy Orange Deere Green agreed
6:50 going to Colorado with a 420 and a bowl - Isaac
how did you even catch that? lmao
@@Awavy1 how did you not? Lol
So many wheelies
CarsandCameras you guys should do some motorcycle vids
CarsandCameras You guys should build a 670cc drag bike. Make it as low profile as possible, long frame -- a genuine drag bike, meant to haul ass in a straight line.
CarsandCameras more mini lawnmower please
CarsandCameras why did you guys stop using the osmo?
why unplug the low oil cut off when you could have wired the low oil cut off and kill switch in parallel?
My Uncle Steve Darnell had a Heath kit mini boonie bike and he said I could have it. I rebuilt the whole thing. The motor has never been rebuilt same as it was in the 60's. It sounds soooooo good! nice work guys!

You guys should build a manual transmission go cart for your next big project. Like if you agree
Shady Knight356 it’s been done
By rather be welding

This was a good first video of the day. Got to see a badass bike, there's gunna be an eclipse, and it's my birthday! Hell yeah!
I Am YZDEMON yeet happy b day mine is in 3 days
Lit Flips same
Lit Flips thanks bro
happy birthday , not every one can say they had a b day with eclipse !! hope its a good one 4 you !!!
Happy Birthday during the Eclipse My Friend. Tomorrow is a New and Wonderful Chance at A New Perspective !!!
Looks like go power sports would be a fun place to work
if that thing is gonna be offroad you're gonna wanna build a rear suspension for it, but its still badass guys! love yalls vids!
Probably put a spring seat on it
That little fella could do with a springer front end , rear shocks and disk brakes well done guys looking forward to the upcoming adventure
I still think building a swing arm and moving the rear axle back 6-12 inches would make more stabile and with suspension a smother ride.
Thats a beast! Should try a crotch rocket motor on a go kart next.
That minibike bike is crazy you guys did a hell of a job
I can't believe y'all don't have a plasma cutter. They are amazing!
I love it when numbers land on 420 and 69 👌👌👌👌
Guys Yall did that I think the tanks really topped it of good job can't wait for footage ripping this thing up mountains and what y'all do to the other bikes
Man that thing is wild!!! You can see the torque when y'all are riding ...Sweeeeeet !!!!
GPS really treated you guys like royalty. Fun time
Excellent build!!! Gopowersports rocks!!!!!
I just finished watching part 1 and then part 2 just came out. Heck yeah!
Love the build when you go to Colorado take extra rear brake shoes ! Lol. 👍👍
Both you guys work good together
Keep up the awesome work guys.
Love you guys your the best builders this world has seen keep up the good work
I think you should call the 420cc minibike "Gonad the Destroyer" because that thing looks like a positively punishing ride!
You guys inspired me to dig out my old Trailmaster that has been sitting for 6 years and put a 420 in it. It's almost done and I am making a video as well!
What a beast the fuel tanks look tuff
Wow you guys went all out with 60fps. It's like a TV show now.
Why do the single cyl. engines sound like there's a loose metal piece in them?
Sithhy um mechanical noise from valves and/or cam gear meshing with crank gear
Sithhy it's the torque converter
Sithhy listen to an actual dirt bike. They don't sound like that.
@Sithhy Its usual the clutch or the chain rattling.
Could be the recoil starter moving
I recently Just got myself The CT200U-EX you guys inspire me more and more to do it nicer and stronger also what we all love 😅 Speed .
6:47 - Going to Colorado, on a 420 w/ a bowl.... 😂😂
I'm really diggin' this project. 👍🏼👍🏼
It runs pretty good. Well done!
That is a very sweet bike now!
a 90 degree fitting on the bottom of the fuel tanks would be best suited for room and plumbing, for future reference. good job guys
Does anyone notice he sounds exactly like the guy from King of The Hill???
Jerico Sunio exactly
SAME
You mean dale?
Hank I mean

Did else one else but me think about taking off the mock gas tank storage box and just putting a motorcycle gas tank on?
12:40 it sounds soooo good
Like a real bike
Did you do at top speed run great modification
This is in Keller Texas! I love right behind y'all. I'm bringing my warrior up there.
maybe we will catch you there at the next meet

420cc 420D chain. Man that's a bike all about the 420. My xr70 had a 420d chain by DID
You racing it at the 24hr of Le mini in Jacksonville next month?
You should build a mini quad with 250 4stroke engine and that be sick fun to ride
awesome that you have Hank Hill filming and adding commentary
What kind of oil were you pouring into the 420?? It looked like transmission fluid??
Probably that real thin 15w-30
Ike........Nothing like a Buzz Killer..............Nice Build.

It’s about the gearing that thing probably has mean torque
i used to watch your videos before i had a youtube account. i forgot what your channel was called. i found this and subbed.

Nice job crazy rides I have 212cc predator on baja doodlebug db30 I wanna put headers and carb what part number I get from gopowersports let me know thanks
Pretty cool!
Does doing this void the warranty?
for sure!
Joshua H ya buddy!
Just put it back to stock for the return
Snoopy ikr... just don't remove the governor and put it back stock.. 😂
Jeremy S ya think lol you buy a new car and slap a big block in it probably voided warranty not being ugly about it just maybe think on it a bit 😊
you guys have all the fun..
What would make installing these predator/Honda engines easier is if someone made a real fuel tank to replace the fake tank/storage compartment....go power sports? I see a opportunity here. ☺
Build a chariot using 2 mini bikes as little horses! That would be super cool. Doesn't need to go fast either!
The bike looks so cool!!
Must try palisade peaches if you see the western slope. Worth it
You guys should build a go kart with a motorcycle engine so you have gears and a clutch. THAT would be bad ass.
You guys have gotten me interested in getting one of these CT-200's.....lol
Do you think de can do this on a coleman ct200 u
You guy should do something epic! Get this bikes , and do the TAT ( trans American trail )
You guys are my idle when I get my go kart all my aftermarket parts will come for go pwoer sports
If you turn the cap a little it lets some air in i do it with my honda gx 160 so i could get a little more fuel into the carb faster
have you guys ever played around with gopeds?
Can you please tell me where you got the clamps for the tanks. I’m doing the exact same build with a 440 duromax. I’ve got it all together but can’t find the clamps to mount the tanks to the top plate. Thanks
This is the best video out of most youtubers that build bikes fuck yeah
That resolution doe. top knotch!
Great job boys! Can this beast be made street legal? It should kill a Honda Grom.
A: could you use the stock torque converter with this engine? and B: If so, would that mean you wouldn't need a riser plate?
my papa got me a 150CC go cart and it is awesome
Is there a mikuni carb for the 420? Are yas gonna put wheelie bars on it?
Your videos are awesome and educational
Remove the fake Coleman tank and get a real tank those double tanks are too small for any decent ride, and just don't look right.
we got more than 50 miles out of those tanks
Guess they looked smaller on the video, but I still think a real tank would be cool, I really don't like fake gas tanks, not trying to knock your build, looks like hella fun and plenty fast, wish I was going to Colorado with y'all, be safe
Leon H gonna agree, it'd look better hiding those two cans inside the fake tank, or even seal up the fake tank and put some fittings to it.
It would need a new tank, it looks like a plastic storage bin, the door fell off on the test ride, don't think it could be made functional, and too small to hide those tanks in, but many minibikes and small motorcycles have tanks close to that size, hydro dip it in the same camo, it would;d look stock
we wanted to keep the fake tank to hold the cameras during the rain
That thing doesn't look too bad actually...to help with aero y'all should do some custom fenders & fairings so you've got a Coleman mini sportbike...could probably retrofit some off a ninja 250/300 or whatever Kawasaki or yamaha or any of big 3 is making these days.
Oh my gosh this is awesome.
Definitely fast enough for a senior prank. Torque, gear ratio and everything. Needs a bigger gas tank though
you guys need that clutch cover on the chopper build so you can put the pegs in a better(lower) position!
What’s the pert number for the muffler that you used? I really don’t want to spend money on the wrong muffler. Thanks!
Isn't that a fuel tank on the top rail of the frain in front of the seat? I think adding a couple of fuel tanks for reserve is a very good idea but on a trip up into co. extra fuel is going to be needed to carry along with you on the trip anyways, thus make a small trail trailer to go behind it to carry along gear and tools and camping gear.
what you need is a proper small bike tank, then the battery can go on the plate.
You guys are so awesome and such an inspiration please notice me it would make my day thanks guys
Yas! A new video!!
Thank you gopowersports
where did you get the gas tanks from?
