It is off by a few cents. I made it because it sounds more like a house track. I put full sidechain on the piano because with 70% it sounded too much of key.. like in the video.
@@chumash.official the piano is probably tuned right, however the bass sound is more likely to be the issue - i'd check it if this is your track! it's probably an easier fix than you'd think and it'll sound much better instantly :)
@@OfficialFugitive It's not available yet. My vocalist needs to finish the vocals. I try to sign it on a label. And ye I fixed it by myself. I pitched the bass for a few cents. Now it sounds better.:)

AWESOME result! 🔥🔥🔥 I really didn't expect duplicating the lead sound, pitching it up, pan it to one side, duplicate it again, pan it to the other side & putting it a little bit after would work out SO WELL 😳😍
Wow man, you are finally the person who gets it right from all the mixing videos I saw, who actually makes the track sound better than making it worse, you good at what you do, I'm learning a lot from you!!
Jonas, since I listened to “Meet You”, you are a reference for my music. I think it’s great that you make this kind of videos, so we can learn from a master like you. You’re amazing!!
Omgggg when u added the bitcrush and played it after, it really gave me Panuma and GSPR vibes, 2 of some of my favourite Future Deep House producers 💪🏿
This has been BY FAR the most interesting music production vid/tutorial I've ever watched, learned a lot from this already, even just the pace you work at is pretty phenomenal. A true professional. Can't wait to see more!
just started watching your videos, love how you go through each individual step live, and explain everything as you're doing it. As I'm watching, I'm learning a lot about what I can do or get an idea of maybe where to go with my own tracks. Love these videos man, keep'em coming.
Who else is watching this (and mastering tutorials) after exporting multiple songs that sound so weak when you listen to them in the car/through phone speakers etc
Ey bro I want you to know that we really appreciate these videos. I least I know I do. They help a shit ton coming from a hq producer like you. Thanks for putting time and effort into these to help us, you a real one!
I was losing motivation because whenever I hear songs and try to make them sound professional, I never seem to get it right. But watching every single one of your videos inspire me and especially with this one I’m more enthusiastic and eager to learn more about the music industry. Thank you Future House God 🙏🙏🙏
Good stuff my man. People forget about panning to open up headroom and add separation when too much stuff is going down the middle. Too bad a lot of guys in this field aren't very studious because a lot that preceeds mixing is essentially written in books and not truly found explicitly in a UA-cam video. This video touched upon some of that though. Fantastic job.
Shaperbox is a great tool to skip the step to double the main synth and make a seperate track for the sub. And overall you can go more into the details between kick and sub with it.
Hi Jonas, great content as always! just a quick tip You could use Ctrl+B for copy pasting samples and tracks so you dont have to drag them every time :) it pastes your sample just after the marked one (hope you understand what i mean hahah) and to keep it on grid just mark few bars (on top of arrangement view), mark samples you want to copy and press Ctrl+C, Ctrl+B :) it speeds a workflow a bit, hope it helps :D
YOOOOOOO WTF!!!! This video is INSANE, I learned a lot, even things I havent imagine could be possible, I will definitely keep this knowledge. Thanks Jonas, you are a legend. Btw, I miss you :')
Great tutorial. You got me interested in getting some new plugins, kickstarter and soundtoys. That sidechaining sounded dope. The pitching is waaay of though. You can hear it when the vocals came in around 19:22
I hope you are doing well, Jonas. Just going back through some of these old videos and missing the good ole days of you posting regularly. I am eagerly awaiting your triumphant return one day!
Amazing work Jonas, right now watching your 1 hour challenge and your workflow is amazing!! Love that you do those kind of videos for us, bedroom producers 🙏🏻! Is it possible to make sometimes tutorial about levels while producing?About gain staging? I am still in trouble with that : /
Honestly so happy I found Jonas' channel. You're such an inspiration and the quality of these vlogs are 10/10!! Been commenting each week so hopefully someday I'll win a free mastering :D Regardless, keep up what you're doing Jonas, we love it.
I always wonder if there are people who build up a track with absolutely no processing and tweeking and then go over it again in the mixing process and do all the processing there... I really wanna try this out because i feel like i mess around so much with all this stuff and it takes so much time and in the end i dont have enough time and patience to do a proper arrangement or write dope melodies or progressions. This video relly inspires me to try this out 😁 much love jonas ❤
Sorry I didn't have time to do more than one track and not too in-depth, do you guys want to see more like this? 🙌
For sure
Yes please
best mann :D
Man every effort you make in making these videos helps us alot....
yes more like this :)
Hey man love the content you've been putting out :) Keep it up. I am learning a bunch of new stuff from you.
Hey!!!! I can say the same thing about you
Wow two legends arcade and Jonás
we say the same about you brother
What a crossover
Hey arcade! I love your videos! Everytime i watch your tutorials i became better! Thanks!
Really nice job man 🔥
You should try more like this
So cool to see a producer that is signed to Spinnin' Records show us their process. Not many people in your position like you, really great man.
Does anyone else feel like the piano is off by a few cents? Crazy how good the mix sounds after your work and great track!
It is off by a few cents. I made it because it sounds more like a house track.

Another week, another awesome video from Jonas Aden.
Love your work man! ♥🔥
I learned so many helpful things from all your indepth videos you keep bringing us. Dont stop! Luv u man
AWESOME result! 🔥🔥🔥
I really didn't expect duplicating the lead sound, pitching it up, pan it to one side, duplicate it again, pan it to the other side & putting it a little bit after would work out SO WELL 😳😍
It works with rhythm guitars. Why not with leads, right?

Jonas Aden is Helping out the community a lot. I just want to take the time and thank you for everything.
I cannot mention another producer who would be as helpful as you. Just keep killing it, you are a producer role model that everyone wants to be like.

It's a pretty cool trick with the pitching. I try to add the layers like Jonas!:)
sounds like a calippo track to me
Wassup Akeeb I like the fact that you keep working on your music! Are you gonna upload a music on UA-cam soon ?

Really good results, the track sounds much better after your mixing
Never thought I'd watch a video specifically on mixing but here I am, good video.

Wow this is really good work mate!
Dope mixing tutorial. Anyone else feel like the piano goes totally out of tune with the bass at times though? Could be the pitched up octaves...
I did it for a reason!:) That's why I put 100% sidechain on the original because it sounded too much out of key.
1:47 Never knew this trick, but it's gonna help me a lot. Have fun in Barcelona and Amsterdam!
Thank you for putting this out there. I feel like learning from people actually involved in the industry is the best way to improve
why do I wanna cry watching your video - I get learned new pieces of stuff every time, like, every single time, thank you jonas

Great trick with the panning of the white noise. A lot of producers forget to take advantage of the stereo field. Learned that from Odesza!
