"avicii played it a lot but other than that it didn't really get any dj support"
big flex
A flex that we unfortunately can no longer get :c
@iNSANiTY 6:37
I think it should've been the opposite. Not many djs supported that but avicii did a lot which is more valuable to me.
@@sraey8133 So true!!!
@@sraey8133 for other dj's it was hard to mix in live, so Tim was talented a lot
Jonas about I Dip You Dip: "Ah, this is too weird".
Brooks loves it and Don Diablo signs it.
Jonas: *Surprised Pikachu meme*
Was really weird to try to give feedback to songs I made recently, but I feel like it was really helpful to reflect on what I've learned the last few years! Hope you guys like this one!! 🎉
Fall under the skies is still one of my jams just love the vibe
Can you try making a song with Alan Walker..?
I love that sucking part in the build up before the drop🔥🔥🔥
it definitely is really helpful!!
Thank you bro!
Show how you made "Your Melody" with Mesto plz!!!
Never seen a producer have the guts to show off the bad bits of their tracks. Much love♥️
why not release a VIP EP where you optimise all those tracks ✨
Like Lost Frequencies makes Deluxe editions?
@@n1kola9 those are fucking great, my favourite album of all time... putting double the work to make a club version of every single track
someone give this guy a medal
holy shit that's actually a great idea
I wish that could happen but I think he doesn’t have the stems because he didn’t play the fl project with stems
You're so transparent with your viewers! Love it!
Since when does Jonas Aden make mistakes 🤔
Trust me, every day hahaha
well, good point, ngl
Jonas Aden I guess we can all learn from them in order to make better songs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@AdenFoyer then im doing everything wrong🤣
Only an awesome producer like Jonas Aden can find mistakes in the tracks of an awesome producer like Jonas Aden :)
If Avicii would have played one of my Tracks, I would have gotten a heart attack... 😂
Matrixzone Music time stamp 6:37
Your Welcome: 1:43 - 3:49 - 5:50 - 6:29 (MY FAVORITE) - 8:01 - 10:36 - 12:07 - 15:14 - 17:49 - 18:57 - 20:20
My all time fav track of yours is Blackbird! 😍🔥 Such a shame it wasn't released back in 2017, could be a big hit imo!
Same same
Fall Under Skies is faultless tbh. Still one of my all time favourite tracks. Also I love how the break melody carries on in the build up.
Akeeb 🤤
For me that is the most unique song I’ve ever heard since 2015...😁
100%
AKEEEEEEEEEB
14:19 this song is too good to be kept private🔥
Bro you make me wanna produce every day. I had such a long dry period and seeing somebody so happy and excited about their music just makes me happy and excited about mine. Thanks for making videos!
❤️
Can't give feedback to perfection ;) na seriously tho it's really sick to see a more critical view of ur own tracks
Haha curious what you think brother!!
AKEEEEEEEEEB
that shows that even the best producers have mistakes
but they learn from those mistakes and get better
love you man
9:09 This reverbed drop is sick, that would be something as popular as "Rock the party" by Jauz
Fall Under Skies was actually my childhood. So interesting to see how you´ve improved :)
It was my teenagehood. That's so weird to say haha
I feel like finding things you'd change in old songs is a good thing, means that you've developed your sound and production skills!
Being critical to your own tracks is so important! Learning the way you look at your own tracks is so helpful for me! Thank you!
Can't wait for you to go over 'Your Melody' 🙌🏻🔥
This is the most open i have ever seen an artist be, Jonas doing a lot for the community
Let's hope that Aden won't fade his fans love while he is growing up so fast ❤️🔥
Firstly, you are the best producer I have ever seen. Secondly, everybody make mistakes and we must learn from it.
Ive been enjoying your songs for already 3 years
I remember back in the days I listened a lot Fall Under Skies, its still a beautifull track in my op
btw - best react 11:21
'having go before the drop is never a good idea.' whoops
Every mistake you made is the thing that make the track itself unique
HAHAHAH I LOVE YOUR REACTION AT 11:21
- A fun guy to spend time with
- Got some free samples
- Seen the simple tricks that Jonas used in his tracks that actually work, which makes me feel less stiff and more free (boy, trying to match "standarts" can be excrucitating as hell, good to know that creativity is always welcome!)
- Heard honest opinions
Man, is it good that I subbed to Jonas.
How could you doubt for i dip you dip, the drop is so hard hittin and the sound design is really nice, fresh original.
Keep the good work and your video man, you're great.
"Your Melody" has burned drops... It's so catchy!
Wow this is a big throwback for me, feels like yesterday listening to tunes like Fall under Skies or Temple and so on. I can clearly remember when i was cruising with friends in Vienna on my skateboard and blasting temple through bluetooth speakers. I never comment on videos but when you announced your comeback a couple of months ago it made me so happy. Your videos motivate me to make even more music and work on my productions skills, learned a lot already. So happy that you are making Videos and that you are back with making music again. Keep it up Jonas you are a big inspiration🔥
This means the world to me ❤️
Its great to see someone who, in my opinion, ALREADY makes fantastic stuff, still revisiting old work for the sake of getting better and progressing. We all get better in the process as well, so I appreciate these types of videos very much!
Melody of the first song is so relaxed
I use "I Dip you dip" most times for drop switch transitions and it sounds really nice, it changes the direction of the Musik but it still smash the floor
Fall Under Skies is one of my all time favourite dance tracks. Melody is incredible and the drop hits perfectly. Much love Jonas
your videos are always such high quality, its insane how talanted you are
This is a very useful video, especially for beginner producers, about how important it is to look back and analyze your past tracks, evaluate what result you have come to today! Thank you so much for this work for all of us!
I actually like the Build up of I Dip You Dip because its Easy to Dropmix with it since there is not that much Energy. Like that it fits better to Build ups of other tracks
One of few channels on music production where the channel owner actually has made quality tracks to back up the info given :). Great content, Jonas! Keep it up.
I can’t wait to listen to “Tell me a lie”!
its honestly inspiring that jonas looks back to his old songs and finds new ideas for his newer songs, Awesome work jonas and keep on producing at your own pace!
Good to know that even someone with ten years of experience can look at his stuff objectively, and find things that could have been improved on. Ur awesome jonas 👍
This is legit my fav youtube channel by now
jonas i dont think so of a lot of edm songs (like barely a few)
but "your melody" is so f***ing powerful
Jonas Ur pieces of advice are always well chosen. U re such a good inspiration for my tracks even though I'm in big room and Trap
Awesome to hear man!!
Never seen a producer do this! Youre unique af Jonas
Jonas and mesto's collab which recently came out it was dope man
Nice to see you be so honest about your work!
David & Goliath is a perfect track imo. Perfect build-up, amazing drop, and all around you did an amazing job on that song. Its the song that got me into bass house. Thanks Jonas!
I still remember discovering you via "Temple" - I especially love it since its not as clubby.
Keep up the great work dude :)
Means the world ❤️
Feel My Soul was my Jam in 2016. For me it's perfect as it is
The chord progression in Blackbird is my favorite chord progression to listen to right now. Every time I listen to it I fall in love with it a little bit more. I especially love the background vocal that falls in pitch (heard at 10:16 in the video). The combination of those chords and the rising and falling vocals is just magic! It's cool to see you pick apart your own tracks and the details that you pay attention to, very insightful! Thanks a lot for the video!
2:25 That sound design sounds pretty gooooooooood
Only by realising and accepting our own production mistakes, we‘ll eventually get better and better at it! Thanks Jonas!
To me "Feel my soul" is one of the biggest tracks that you've done so far. It has this Jonas Aden style, these drums on the drop are simply amazing and the reverb gives that special feel
Everyone make mistakes. The main goal is to learn from that mistakes and get back into track gettin stronger harder better to blow the mind of those people who used to think that person dump. So hope Jonas bro u'll come back!
Wow, thanks for putting this out there. Hearing your first release actually makes me feel a lot better about my current level. If you can go from that 2015 track to “I Dip, You Dip” in three years there is hope for me.
Making of "your melody" please Jonas Aden!!
Can you pleaseeee do a masterclass/walkthrough for YOUR MELODY????
Thanks for giving back to all of us... you have so much knowledge!!!
i love the old songs, edm golden era
I LOVE the kicks at the end of the Your Melody build
I love this guy, it no longer feels like I am watching some popular producer with records signed to Spinnin' , hexagon etc. but like a friend who really tries to help with my production. Jonas you're amazing man, I wish your subscribers here could get you into DJ mag top 100 this year! You have my vote to begin with!
❤️❤️
It’s pretty much impossible to release a track you’ll always find amazing, like u kinda need to release it, listen to it lots, and then you’ll see your mistakes, like lots of ppl say you shouldn’t start releasing stuff until you’re amazing, but release actually just help improving
Show how you made "Your Melody" with Mesto plz!!!
This is such a cool video and you're almost too honest with your feedback. When people listen to your music they'll listen to it because they love the sounds, not so much the technical aspects of the production. It's good to be hard on yourself but not too hard, as what you think is trash may be another person's treasure!
I really love watching and learning from your videos.
I would really like it if make the"how to remix a song" video
I love youre new twist onto future house!
09:42
I think this is the saddest thing about the attention of the listeners. But unfortunately you right.
PS: I know all of this tracks from the "past" (i think that 4 years it's really past). I used to listen Future House channel. I always love that tracks cause of unique of them. I don't even think that you make mistakes - it was just your honest tracks.
Amazing how much you have grown in the last couple of years!
through youtube you have become one of my fav producer. keep posting and i'll get posters in my room hahah
hahhaa will do!!
Strangers do is my favourite track ever
This video is infinitely valuable, can’t wait for a Alan Walker collab, I’m curious how that will sound 🎶
I love Your Melody cause it have so much movement in the drop and its pretty "steppy"
Your journey you tell us and how you transformed yourself from a beginner to a pro, it really inspires me and motivates me to stay focused on your aim one day will come when you achieve what you want. Thank you jonas ❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Props for being transparent
I literally learn so much from Every video you make! And please make a remix tutorial
I dip you dip is too good.
What about video explaining "Your Melody" together with Maestro Mesto? 🤪🙊🙏
Watchin this Im like... Bruh!! It all sounds sick There are no mistakes
at 6:49.... in my heyday... I used to play that track frequently in my sets.... maybe AVICII knew something we didn't.... so did I.... good job man. you continue to inspire me bro. keep up the good work :)
Kudos to you Jonas. Takes s lot to reflect constructively on your own tracks even more in a public forum. 👍
So Awesome realising I loved every single song he released but had no Idea who I was actually listening to. I have so much respect for you and love that you look back and critique your own work.
I can always learn with your videos! Thanks Jonas you are an inspiration for us!
I think an important point in this, which probably wasn't an intentional 'tip', is that I Dip You Dip seemed weird to you, but was successful in the end. It shows that different can be extremely good and exactly what people want/need.
This is the most helpful video idea! It’s so interesting to hear what you think about your tracks. Thanks!!
lol sounds like a bootleg alia intro 1:40
Me: Everything makes so much sense
Jonas (everytime) : If that makes sense?
Buddy! You're insanely amazing
I wish I can produce such good music like yours, amazing videos. I learn so much every week from it!
Man you're a legend.. You're helping us so much ...
I really like your modesty bro..
Respect from Algeria 🇩🇿💯
I am impressed by your critical point of view, even with your last releases which shows how you keep improving release after release !
Btw I really love your last track with Mesto ! Keep on going ahah
Love the way you embrace all the mistakes (As you see but most of this sounds, feel so nice) that Analogue sound your getting is groovy.I'm impressed, and inspired to get back into the studio...
JONAS, You seem very human, you love humanity, you love animals, you care about your fans, you care about people!
you have a best personality, i can say you're the best Music Producer ever; you're wise!
a Producer who teaches for free, who shows his secrets, who says that he had mistaken, and i guess there is no one of those commercants of the art of music and profiteers, and seducers of soul can do this, For real this is my point of view and how i think about you, I'm i wrong ?
❤️❤️
Dude, you look tired…but still knocked it out of the park with this video.
I love hearing your old songs and seeing your FLPs and workflow! GG
pretty cool bro! it’s funny cos I used to love playing your tracks back in 2015 and now I’m actually more into your new stuff.
This video was really good! I learnt a lot of valuable information and don't worry about talking too much Jonas! Everything you say is precise and to the point so we don't mind it :D
what you want will always be my favourite jonas aden song i just love that dirty bassy 2015-16 jonas aden sound
