Looks like this is just the ticket for my '66 Caprice. Based on what was learned from your video, I won't hear any noise at all if it is mounted in the engine compartment. Under dash is not an option for me - too cluttered as it is. Thanks for making this. It was very informative.
You shouldn’t hear anything if you mount it outside. I wanted to but there really wasn’t a location I was satisfied with so under the dash it went. Thanks for your support
I just got done installing this cruise control on my 1970 Chevy C10 and your video was very very helpful you did a great job thank you
Awesome! I’m glad my video was helpful to you.
Awesome video! I bought this same kit for my 68 GMC. I've been thinking of installing it behind the gauge cluster, cause I don't want to ugly up my firewall. So glad I found this video.
I’m glad my video was helpful. Good luck with your install.
too damn cool! im gonna install one in my 63 Scout and my 70 Suburban thanks to watching your install... props brother!
I’m glad my video was helpful to you. Cruise control, power steering and ac have been the best installs I’ve done to my truck. Makes cruising really nice 👍🏻
@@Chickeneyegarage yep, after you've had ac and cruise control in other vehicles its hard to do without... again, nice and clean install you did!
Thanks for the info. I'm looking forward to the A/C install. I got all the same upgrades to do on my '65'.
I can’t wait to do ac in my truck. Hopefully I can get it installed before it gets too hot.
That’s a badass upgrade. Nice!
Thanks 🙏🏼
Great video and great upgrade. Keep up the good work 👍👍
Thanks! I really appreciate it 👍🏻
Love the intro!
Thanks brother!
Nice one!
Hey that pretty cool ,seems to work amazing, another good video , ieepbthe comming buddy
Thanks for the compliment. It works great and it’s nice not having to hold the gas pedal while driving. Definitely a must in any classic ride
Unfortunately my eyes are not too good so I will need a mechanic to install it..About how many hours would you say it would take from beginning to end? I have a 1966 Chevelle...THANKS!!! It was great VIDEO...more in-depth than any other!!
Depends. If you mount the cruise control module in the engine bay on the firewall somewhere then my guess it would take about a day to do. It also depends how clean the shop does your wiring.
Fantastic !!
I’m currently working on a 66 c10, and right now I’m putting a new wiring harness and terminator x harness in and it’s not fun
Wiring is not my favorite. My ocd makes it hard for me. I’ll wire it one way then change it up later. I have wiring right now I want to change up. Never ending
@@Chickeneyegarage that’s me in a nutshell my OCD is very strong I wish I could send you a picture to see this rat nest I keep walking away to relax and regroup
@@Tee_Spoons_Garage if you have Instagram I’m on there. Same name as my UA-cam channel.
@@Chickeneyegarage I dont have instagram or Facebook
@@Tee_Spoons_Garage no problem. You ain’t missing much anyways 😆
That was through thaks
I never did figure out if the black wire from the speedo is supposed to be grounded. Is that what you ended up doing?
@@designsinorbit yes I believe that’s what I did
Dakota is making a disgusting amount of profit off this. Effers.
