1976 Chevy Luv 350
Переглядів 1,5 тис.4 місяці тому
I finally got the 350 in the 1976 Chevy luv and I got to hear it run for the first time since I bought it on facebook market. I used POR-15 products for the first time on the luv. Its pricey but I like their stuff. It took a couple of months to get it to where its at in this video. A few issues to deal with but overall it was a relatively a smooth process. I hope everyone enjoys the video.
Edelbrock 8059 idle up solenoid install
Переглядів 2,2 тис.5 місяців тому
I added an idle compensation solenoid from Edelbrock. I updated the video because I thought I made a mistake on the wiring. If you have an Edelbrock carburetor with air conditioning then this solenoid kit will help with the low idle issues. I hope this video was helpful and if you have any questions please leave a comment. Thanks for watching www.summitracing.com/parts/edl-8059 www.summitracing...

We finished up working on Treys c10 so he can take it to Oklahoma to get it cutdown to a shortbed. Coyote Customs did the shortbed conversion and they nailed it.
1971 Chevy C10 will it run and drive?
Переглядів 1,8 тис.6 місяців тому
My buddy Trey brought his new to him, 1971 Chevy c10 to the chicken eye garage. We get it running and driving and we take it for a spin around the neighborhood. We had to work through a lot of issues to get it running but we had a lot of fun doing it.
1976 Chevy luv sbc 350 swap
Переглядів 6 тис.7 місяців тому
It’s been awhile since I dropped a new video on the Vegas truck. After discovering the 327 was bad and needed more work than I could afford. It took some time but I finally found an engine that I hope is good. I took a different approach to installing a sbc but it looks like it is going to work. I hope this video helps someone out there wanting to swap in a sbc engine. www.summitracing.com/part...

I finally tear into the Isuzu engine. Is it worth rebuilding or should I replace it with something that will create tire smoke. Tune in and find out.

Where in DFW are you? I need some advice on my K5 Blazer
New subscriber just cause of the luv truck
What size screws ?
lol. I had a 63 scout that only turned right. Same issue with the brakes. You hit the break it’s turning right
Thank you for the video. Question, i noticed the brakes were semi engaged when you rotated the rotor, does that go away when everything is set up?
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!
Thanks
Congratulations! Place looks great. Looking forward to seeing the progress. Enjoy. Be safe!
Thanks
Just pull power from the AC switch in the dash.
Looks just like my 69 just cleaner!🇺🇲
Congratulations you’ll love the bigger space less stress
Sweet new setup! Let me know if you need help with that garage door replacement. - Mark Blackjack61

@@TheTexxxan thank you and thank you for your support
Fantastic!
Congratulations!
@@John_C10 thanks
Check for a vacuum leak on that side of intake ( hoses, manifold ,etc..)..low velocity will cause wetness in the manifold..
Good luck with your new house and your garage, I love the 1966 Chevy! Greetings from Belgium 🇧🇪

As a brad,i thought i was hallucinating when you did the brad thing

@@debbieh1959 you’re correct. I didn’t want to start any new videos until I found a new place. Once I get the shop setup, I’ll be back to making some more videos. Thanks for your support.

@@Chickeneyegarage You're welcome.
A properly sized rivnut and short bolt would cap those gasket holes off.
I just got the exact same kick panels, I was curious how people are mounting them, the passenger side fits like garbage on mine too lol. Good video, thanks.
@@CLASSICSAREBETTER I used sheet metal screws to mount mine. I made the hole in the plastic panel slightly bigger for minor adjustments. Looks better if you use black screws or paint the head of the screw black. Thanks for watching
I just start working on my first truck 77 Chevy luv 48 yrs with my first luv!!!
Im using fel pro 1205 intake gaskets on a 350 under an edelbrock performer rpm intake. So far no problems. Intake and heads are gasket matched. Truck is a 69 chevy c20.
How are you liking the AVS carb?
@@chrisdaws6435 I like it a lot
Thanks for the video and explanation on tapping the throttle. I thought something was wrong w mine or that our stock throttle spring was too strong.
15's are where it ain't! Very cool brother 😎👍

Looks like this is just the ticket for my '66 Caprice. Based on what was learned from your video, I won't hear any noise at all if it is mounted in the engine compartment. Under dash is not an option for me - too cluttered as it is. Thanks for making this. It was very informative.
You shouldn’t hear anything if you mount it outside. I wanted to but there really wasn’t a location I was satisfied with so under the dash it went. Thanks for your support
Bro, you are the man you have helped me so many times with my 64 Chevy C 10. This was just a lot of fun to watch bro. When I’m in Texas I would love to swing by your house and just say hi man. Take you to grab a cup of coffee or even more a beer, bro. Take care thank you.
Its comments like yours they make it all worth it to me. I really appreciate your support and I’m glad my videos have helped you along the way. Hit me up if you’re in town, hopefully we can connect.
Thanks good job
Great video AC is on my list to install
I was at a NASCAR truck race August 2004 at the Nashville Speedway. Typical boring 1 miler. 1.3 miles to be accurate.
Looks like Trey's 65 has smooth riding suspension.
As a teenager, I had a igloo armrest cooler just like that except the lid was red. Late 70's.
How’s the sound system holding up after a couple of years?
Still works great.
I need that for my 64.
@@TheTexxxan works pretty good for what it is
I never did figure out if the black wire from the speedo is supposed to be grounded. Is that what you ended up doing?
@@designsinorbit yes I believe that’s what I did
damn dude....everything im thinking about doiing, you did 7 years ago
I just saw your video and was compelled to share with you and your subscribers that you can do the same thing with a Q-jet. I did that a year ago and recorded a video - ua-cam.com/video/OFCtJfbx7Xg/v-deo.html
Had a 78 Luv in H.S. and found these G180z Isuzu engines had common overheating and timing chain guide issues. We found a G200z motor in a Junk yard that ran and found it bolted to the Luv transmission perfectly. If was a good little truck..
