These are all the Protoss units in the "Real Scale Mod". In this mod all of the units are according to the scale that is explained in the lore of StarCraft. It turns out that Stargate units, and in particular the Mothership are absolutely enormous.
The "SCII RS MOD (Real Scale Melee)" mod is available in StarCraft 2 on all servers. All you need to do is create a custom game with the extension mod.

I thought Pylons have been floating all along? I know the Legacy of the Void cinematic showed a floating pylon.
Yes, Pylons have always floated. :)
They have,but this mod accentuates that aspect of the pylon sprite so you can see it better. They sit higher up off the ground than they normally do.

The fact that a Viper can abduct a mothership, let alone a carrier or a tempest is crazy!

The intro cinematic of Legacy of the Void presented a probe warping in a pylon. And yes, that probe was merely half the size of a zealot
What I like over all is that it includes alot of the different units, AND late tier units are badass, and they are priced and scaled appropriately

If the Spear Of Adun was in the game, it would be the stage, not a unit.
Carrier is about 1.5 km, Mothership 3.5 km and Spear of Adun is actually 74.5 km.
Why are zealots smaller than probes? In LotV cinematic they are bigger.

I wish Blizz would just put the taldarim as a complete skin overhaul thing for mp. Like, they wouldn't have to do any work, every unit/building variation skin already exists in the campaign or coop. and it would look sick.

I would definitely like to see competitive games of this mod, especially non-mirror match ups. You just need to play on bigger maps, like whirlwind, frost LE, or even a 6-8 player map.
The modder thought about everything!!!. I absolutely love this mod!!!! please keep playing with it.
Stone Zealot was in the WoL campaign, you had to kill a couple of them to get to the alien artifact in one of the Tyches (idk how to spell his name) missions. It was the one where you are fighting Taldarim on the lower lane and Kerrigan was fighting on the upper lane and you had to beat her.
In this mod I'm pretty sure you can get more than 170 supply but you need more bases or something.
a couple serious matches would be fun!

Well, I'm impressed by the accurate of scale for this mode, because as we were/are watching cinematics from SC2 campaigns we can clearly see that the size of units in cinematics and units from gameplay haven't got accurate size, so I think this mode is realy interesting
Stone zealot is in the WoL campaign 4th mission or 5th mission cause u can choose which one you want to do first, in that mission you were racing the zerg army to collect a artifact
Boteasy it can be even 10th and even more.why you think it is 4th or 5th?just say mission's name:"smash and grab"

the stone zealot is at the campaign of wings of liberty. where youll have to get the protos keystone artifact against the zerg. theyre the ones defending it and youll fight then when your units enter the site.
13:23 its in the wings of liberty campaign in the mission smash and grab where you unlock marauders and you are trying to get to the artifact piece, when you get there the stone zealots come alive

The air units are also bigger not only because they are larger in size but also because they are closer to the camera position (top-down viewer position) than ground units.

I've always loved the Planet Cracker ability of Motherships. Always made me smile to just see a giant beam that burns everything to the ground

Btw, I though maybe units aren't as big as they look like. They are big because they are flying and you observe them from the "sky" so optically they are closer and they look bigger to you.
What developer changed is the seeing perception of units and buildings and made them more realistic, from the perception - Im commander, who sits high in the sky and manages the gameplay.
Need more Real Scale games. That's awesome!

Awesome video!! Just wondering about the massive difference in supply for each race, seems that still needs to be balanced? Zerg - 300, Terran - 220, and Protoss - 170??
I would love a serious *version* of this mod. The idea is really interesting.
Lowko, did you consider grabbing two of your friends, go in a game and side by side showcase each race's unit by tier? like marine-zealot-zergling, stalker-marauder-roach... etc ?

C&C series are mostly closely to real life sizes, but I still would like to see a scale mod there as well.
Those victory laps sounds like Total Annihilation aircraft AI. Also, move+attack simultaneously.

where do i find this mod? i keep getting bootleg versions of it that only slightly change the size and don't add any new units
@LowkoTV You didn't even try out psionic storm! Seriously probably the single most OP ability in the mod for a protoss player. I played a game not too long ago where two high templar and a single sentry (double shield recharge, btw) wrecked the enemy zerg army, devastated the mineral line, and killed a queen with feedback/mental blast. Also, cannon up early. A couple photon cannons will stop all early aggression and let you tech up or harass with limited units. They even get area damage, IIRC as an upgrade from the twilight council. Or, it could be the cybernetics core. I forget specifically. Anyway, high templar are great for early harass and high archons later (hardened shields keeps them alive so much longer, especially with a sentry backing them), and immortals make great anti air/base wreckers. I'd love to see you spend some more time in this mod, learn some of the strategies, and play a more serious game with it. So many new strategies for zerg and protoss (though sadly, I feel as though terrans got stuck with just three good ones: marine rush, scanner/nuke, and battlecruisers).

I thought in LOTV intro cinematic, the Archon is as big as the Ultralisk?
if they would put the spear of adun , it probably couldnt fit in the map cuz the speak of adun size is 78 km , while the carrier is between 600-700 meters
Fun Fact about this Mod: Protoss can Warp Some Units Anywhere, so like Zealots, Stalkers, Sentries, High Templar, Dark Templar, and a Few Others too, but not all, Carriers, Void Rays, Phoenix, Adepts, and Many Others need a Pylon Field as of Right Now, maybe in the Future they All can just Warp Anywhere!
