Greetings from Puerto Rico! Thank you for keeping us with good information and for your time. Although I have a Ford F150 supercrew 4x4 but I'm in love with my maverick fx4 great and capable little truck.

After watching Kevin’s videos after he got his Maverick. It started an interest in me, to get one. Now watching your videos on the Maverick has increased my interest. But I’ve also seen some negatives on the Maverick, about recent recalls and stuff, kinda turns me away a little bit. But, what really turns me away the most, is the fact that I can’t find any Maverick’s and when I do they are asking stupid amounts for them.

Yeah, supply chain issues have created a tough market for people buying new vehicles, and especially higher demand vehicles like the Maverick. Hopefully, that will settle out sooner than later. As far as recalls, that's typically just a thing with new vehicles, unfortunately.

Hey, I noticed your Maverick is lifted. Does that void any warranties at Ford? My salesperson warned me against lifting mine, and I wanted to check and see if you had any issues with yours. Cheers man.

Great question! First, I'll encourage you to look into the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act that prohibits any vehicle manufacturer from voiding a warranty due to a modification. However, if the vehicle comes in for repair doe to damage caused by the modification, they can deny the claim.
My kit is from Superlift. It lifts 2.5 inches in the front from 2 different types of spacers. There's a small spacer on top of the strut to extend the overall length, and also one to preload the spring to raise the resting ride height. There's also a new swaybar link and drop bracket that corrects the arc of travel at the new ride height, eliminating the danger of rubbing things it shouldn't. The rear lift is done with spacers above and below the springs, along with a trailing arm drop bracket to keep the rear geometry right.
This combination gets you the height without sacrificing longevity or ride quality. I've had mine on for a little over 10k miles with no issues at all and I recommend this kit over all others currently available. Hope that's helpful!
