    Emulsion tubes for 2t and 4t are different

      Yes. I wasnt gonna get into emulsion tubes in this video cause that is out of most people's element and while emulsion tube tuning does help, its not really needed for most applications.

    Easy to follow video . Thanks for the info
    I was thinking about getting the nibbi 17 for my stock unported 66cc. wasn't sure and nobody would tell me. amazon has like 30 to choose from
    I will definitely be buying it now to replace the kit carb. Do you think a carb upgrade will help me out here?
    The motor runs strong up to 3/4 throttle and then boggs. 7500 is the highest i got it to rev under load riding. would like it to get to 9k
    10t 36t with 26"tires 40 mph, down hill was my highest speed. and I'm 200lbs and total 280lbs with me and the bike on the scale.

      The carburetor upgrade will DEFINITELY help and you will be able to MUCH more easily tune and dial in the carburetor. This in and of itself will help you get more power and higher RPMs. Though, you will definitely find a limit to your max RPMs. Usually a stock engine wont rev past 9k or so unless you raise the transfers and do other port work. Not to mention an exhaust and other stuff plays a big part. Though, for a bare-bone stock engine, the NIBBI 17 carburetor is definitely the best place to start.
      Just make sure you are also using the proper NGK spark plug (B7HS) and you are using the proper full synthetic oil. These two will HUGELY impact performance even if you have your carburetor dialed in perfectly.

    I use 32 to 1 fuel ratio is that too rich? Mine just starting dying almost immediately when I pull the clutch in. And when I hit the throttle it responds like a second behind what a normal one does. This video is great I'm going to tune my carb you think that will Help?

      @@Bluebandit13 that's completely fine. I reccomend between 32:1 and 40:1. If your issue is related to fueling, it's definetely has to do with the oil itself not being adequate. If it isn't semi or full synthetic 2 stroke premix oil, it won't burn properly and will clog the carburetor, foul the plug, etc. You could definitely try using 40:1 ratio to see if that helps at all, but I would take a look at your oil or spark plug.
      After you've done that, I would definitely reccomend trying to adjust your carburetor. An improper idle and air leaks are your worst enemies, so resolve those first.

      @@Bluebandit13 gotcha. Yeah, these carbs usually run out of the box, but that's about it.

    I bought a cheap chinese mikuni knockoff and for some reason it just stalls whenever i go quarter throttle

      Sounds like a tuning issue. Even with cheap carbs with low quality control, it is very rarely an issue with the carburetor itself.

    If im trying to run slightly lean could i richen my pilot jet? Im slightly 4 stroking at WOT but my idle is super high, i just went from a 70# to a 65# .
    Ive confirmed i have no air leaks. Bike runs pretty well other than the high idle

    • @a.m.bgarage.everydayprojec9665
      @a.m.bgarage.everydayprojec9665  2 місяці тому

      The idle is high even after you adjust the idle screw? If you screw the idle screw pretty much all the way out and that doesnt lower the idle enough, a larger pilot jet will most likely help.
