He's walking up Hillhurst to Los Feliz Blvd. Actor Leonardo Di Caprio lived with his mother on Hillhurst and attended nearby John Marshall High School for a time. On the right, at the corner of Finley and Hillhurst was my old barber shop, Mr. Rons, long gone. At the corner of Ambrose and Hillhurst my best friend Nick lived there. Thank you for the tour of memory lane
Regarding which neighborhoods to explore, I'd like to see more of the nice ones like Los Feliz, not the crime ridden ones. Enjoyable video too by the way.
LA is a definitely a car-prominent city. I think a big reason why is because the public transportation system is extremely underdeveloped compared to many other metropolitan cities in the world. They’re slowly working on its expansion so I hope there’s more access to public transpo in the future which will also encourage more walking
Hillhurst and Vermont have the most shops, restaurants, theaters, and happenings in Los Feliz. I'd recommend spending some time in this beautiful neighborhood on a quiet weekend :)
I wish there were more touring videos of los feliz :(
Oh good to know! It's a great neighborhood so I'll definitely plan to make more walking tours in that area. :)
@@streetview_hd omg thank you sm 💕

So glad you got to revisit some nice memories through this video!
Great video but got fed up with Woody Wood Pecker
Honestly, me too 😅 I’ve upgraded my equipment though so no more Woody in the newer vids haha

Haha I’ll make sure to stop by next time ☺️

@@streetview_hd If you think that LA had one of the best public transport systems 100 years ago...
Rossmore Ave. A couple of miles or more from where you are. South West by Beverly.
That's Larchmont village. More than a couple of miles from Los Feliz.
@richardturner2455 I love both neighborhoods :)
If nothing happens , I am going to visit Los Angeles on September and I looking for a nice place near to Los Feliz .
It’s a great neighborhood! Hope you enjoy your trip!

Looks like a nice neighborhood. What’s the rent? I’m trying to leave NYC. 😫😫😫
Los Feliz is awesome! Fairly pricey, but maybe still affordable by NYC standards 😅
Sounds like a noisy area.
Not terribly! It’s a moderately lively area, but not too crowded :)
@@streetview_hd It's sounds clangy, bangy, and a hot mess. Sorry.. just my observation.
