    Amazing class!
    Thank you so much for sharing this.
    I have been doing a lot of research and learning about JADAM and KNF farming techniques and I am very determined to make this the new normal way of growing food in my home garden. I am very passionate about growing my own food (as healthy; and natural, as possible). I feel like these techniques created by father; Master Cho, and son; Youngsang Cho, are the best ways moving forward.
    I hope the world of big agg will soon wake up to these methods and stop poisoning the lands and the food we all eat.
    Food is power, this brings the power back to the farmers, instead of the large corps.
    Just found this video today I am excited to watch episode 2.
    Just subscribed!
    Cheers from Canada.

    Funny you mentioned Ferngully. I was thinking about it right before you said it. My daughter loves that movie, seen it at least 7 times. She wants to save the planet too, I’m trying to learn and do what I can. We’re in phoenix, Arizona and part of a community garden.

    One of the most informative KNF vids I've seen in a while. But As far as FAA the fish bone will not degrade even the fish eyes will remain after 5 years of fermatation..

      Still beneficial, I would recommend making multiple IMO collections from a range of locations then inoculating your soil/plants with all of them will bring all the diversity your system will need

    I thank you very much for your very helpful tutorial, it is very interesting about the philosophical reasons you like the fish amino acid, and for sure FAA could be a way to honour the life of a fish, however I personally would like to avoid using animal byproducts,. Is there an alternative to FAA, maybe not as good, but that do not use animal byproducts? I thank you very much for your help, Best, Dami.

    Thank you for this! I am learning so much from this, thank you for taking the time to teach us 🙏 Question, so I've noticed bugs don't seem to bother my hot pepper plants, Can I make fpj and/or ffj out of the plants or out of the peppers themselves? Or will that be too strong on other plants? Thanks 🙏

    I've stumbled onto this KNF and so far it's interesting. Made my first lab and wanted to do more, so right now I have fermented bananas. Is there anything special you do once the bananas have fermented for a week? Or do I just pour off the liquid and use that as is?

    • @instituteofnaturalfarming9950
      @instituteofnaturalfarming9950  3 роки тому +4

      You can poor off liquid and supersaturate with equal volume brown sugar, stirring in clockwise motion. You can confirm supersaturation by dropping a ball off brown sugar on top. If it sinks quickly then you need more, if it floats like an iceberg you are supersaturated. You will then have (whatever phase of growth used) FPJ. It can be immediately used at a rate of 1/500 or 1.2oz/gallon. You can then follow vinegar recipe and make banana vinegar from the leftover solids. Keep going it only gets better! Bless

      Hi, I’m from Western Australia and have been making FPJ on the soil under a bower house of eucalyptus trees and wattle bushes. IMO made here, too. Lovely spot in a harsh climate. Moving shade and (in season) filtered rain. If heavy rain, cover IMO with old leaves and a loose tarpaulin.

    the videos are great man, hands on knowledge type stylie. Recently had a bredren from St.Anne's parish fall off from the Rasta scene after 52 years. He asked me to research the Rasta faith more. I asked where is a good place to start and look. Selassie being a dictator, Jamaica's independence needing a face and Selassie being a slave owner and ordering beheadings. None of his children looked at him as God, Garvey the self proclaimed prophesy, along with African nationalist in Oxford started the movement, which later called out Makonnen as a coward. The amount of Jamaican Rastas that moved back to the promise land, was very little. When Scratch Perry had the third generation of Rastas hanging at his studio, Bob became a member and also stated the movement was a look of style and most overused ganja, we're takers and a falsehood behind the vibe. Duppy Conqueror is a good story of Bob and Scratch and sold Rasta vision to the world. What's your take on the origins and dividing sects within it's short timeline?

    • @ottoflouer1750
      @ottoflouer1750 Рік тому

      Just like any organized religion its not grounded in reality. I could cherry pick beautiful pieces of life philosophy from the bible but I'd have to ignore the true reality of the atrocities committed by the hand of the Vatican to pretend its a peaceful movement. Same for rastas they won't have these conversations because they hide from the truth. BTW I've got nothing against rastas that live a natural way of life and focus on bettering themselves and their community but the religious ones that have church meetings are just another Christian sect

    I am an agronomic soil scientist. A word of caution about aqueous vegetative extracts "compost tea". First: the finish extract contains very little, if any, nutrient value in lab analysis. When compared to groups receiving an equal amount of water on the same schedule the two groups are indistinguishable. Secondly: these malto-lactic fermented solutions can be dangerous. E. coli, salmonella and even cholera have been incubated this way with deadly consequences in Korea and Taiwan. Compost does not have these issues and is generally recognized as safe and effective.

    • @ottoflouer1750
      @ottoflouer1750 Рік тому +2

      I think you're confused about the function of a compost tea?? Nothing to do with nutrient value at all so not sure why you're trying to dissuade people from using them.

    • @gilshelley9183
      @gilshelley9183 Рік тому

      It also has nothing to do with adding "life" to the soil. Soil is already at biosaturation. In addition, the anaerobic bacteria in compost tea have no value to the top 4' of soil.@@ottoflouer1750
