Hello, chemically speaking, no, all these including Balsamic vinegar all have the same natural chemical product theybare made by bacteria, vinegar. So use any vinegar, he prefers a non purified vinegar obviously, but even white distilled is awesome for these recipes, as chemical makeup (vinegar). Peace.
Hey Chris, would the membrane happen to be water soluble? If so, another option for eliminating the eggshell membrane would be throwing them into some water and letting the membrane mix with the water (i would guess warm water could help). Dump that water out, then heat up the shells after that. Does this sound like something that might work?
Another way to separate the egg shell membrane is to remove it under running water after breaking the eggs. Don't look like it's going to help, but, believe me, it does. Just use any little crack that are still within the skin and then peel everything from the inside.
Ano ai Chris! What's the difference between WCA and WCAP??? Is it okay to blend the egg shells and bones together in vinegar after cooking them? Blending the two liquids WCA and WCAP together as 1???
Hi Chris I have collected my eggshell and about to give it a try , I have found the FPJ and the lacto ferment very useful in giving my plants a boost, thank you. What is your opinion in using kombucha vinegar?
Sorry, not Chris, but that would work perfectly. Remember though that it's a live vinegar so you may want to crack the lid a little when storing the WCA.

Hi Chris, i normally wash and remove membranes from shell right after eating my eggs then i collect the shells for weeks before blending into a fine powder. I've used the powdered form and i don't think there have been any issues. Is there a reason shells should be cooked first?
Because it can contaminate the solution with bacteria, mainly if you use the water soaking method.. But since the shells are mixed with vinegar, the membrane wont dissolve in vinegar and won't be in the calcium liquid once the liquid has been filtered.
@@saritis From Lil Giant Thank you so much. I DID NOT KNOW THAT. Sheesh. You have to be a biochemist just to figure out what not to use. Yeah, not sure where you got your info about petroleum in vinegar. Maybe they found some in distilled vinegar? There are live vinegars (with the "mother" culture) and distilled vinegars. KNF seems to use brown rice vinegar specifically, but any vinegar with the same acidity should work for WCA. I use white distilled vinegar to clean because it has been distilled and doesn't have a bunch of stuff floating in it. I use Bragg's for most of the stuff I eat. Vinegar seems to be pretty easy to make. There are a lot of good videos about home made vinegar.
I did looked up the process, the alchol can be made with peroleum to start the vinegar making process. Not the vinegar is made from the petroleum, but the alcohol taht is processed by bacteria to make the acid. Technically its not really matters, because alcohol is alcohol, but you may feel its different, (maybe it is just not chemically). Mostly its very unlikely but it was a marketing from Heinz that they do not use petroleum, and thats why some think others do.
