i sit here watching your video as my grown mentally ill son yells and screams at his mother inside the house. when i get involved things just escalate so i'm hoping it calms down soon. he didn't used to be this way, a broken back and a lost life has made him isolated and angry. it's hard. i appreciate your videos because it reminds me of when he and i were best friends and would work on our projects together, sharing our lives and enjoying each other. thank you for the video. 👍
Keep the faith. I had a very angry step daughter. By the grace of God we found a doctor to get the right meds and now she is a very happy well adjusted human. Prayers from MO
Prays for your son and the family . My sisters son is that way and she was the only one he would even think about lessoning to but she passed away back in the summer and my brother in law has a hard time . music is about the one thing that cools him down .he is 38 so he puts up good fight when he gets ready .that's bad kids have to be like that .all you can do is love love and keep on loving them. ❤
You are not alone dealing with a grown son that lives at home and gets angry with his parents all the time. Our son is 33 and moved back home about 3.5 years ago. He had been an OTR truck driver for several years. Made a lot of good money and had his act together. Two different women in his life absolutely shit on him and screwed his head up. For two years, he lived here with us and didn't work or do much of anything else. But about 8 months ago, he started working at a Valvoline Instant Oil change in town and he has turned completely around. He really likes his job. He doesn't make near as much money as he did on the road but he enjoys being able to come home every night. Things are finally starting to get better. He still has his bouts with depression and anger but they are becoming fewer and farther between. So I wish you the best luck in the world with your son. Like one of the other repliers commented, all you can do is love them and keep loving them. And pray for them. That is what my 89 year old mother has done for a couple of years now and I think it worked.
How much u asking for the 1974 Ford Bronco?? My wife is a retired 21 year master Sargent air force medic, she would love it, buy n fix up Jason, Wichita, Ks. ❤❤love the show.
Just bought a 72 bronco ranger this week with a 302 3 on the tree... one owner all original, she's roughhhh even rougher than yours but I paid $3k for it so could be worse, all the trim is there, original hubcaps, like I said everything is there at least. His dad also took out the 3rd row seat when it was new to haul square bales so it at least has a brand new rear seat that's been in a garage 50ish years.
Incredible resurrection! When I first saw the price, I thought ya'll got a heck of a deal....then I saw the floors and that rats nest on the motor and figured maybe it wasn't such a great deal after all. But how incredible is it that the motor fired up and ran like that! Man, an old school set of white, wagon wheels and she would be a great little around town vehicle. Great job, fellas!
I had a 72 Bronco that looked exactly like yours. 302 Motor & standard trans. The floor was rusted and the frame eventually broke but it was lots of fun. Sold it for $1500 cdn and regretted it. These trucks are very desirable and much better than the new ones.
Hi guys That coil that was on it was an original yellow top ford coil that was on all fords of that era ! They are a bit of a collector item these days Merry Christmas from Australia 🇦🇺
Don't see too many of these anymore up here in western Canada, so 'any' possible rebuilds on these Bronco's is worthy of taking on, as there will always be fewer and fewer over the years, making them more valuable. This one certainly has possibilities, albeit some metal work, body work and paint, and it could be a beaming jewel with some time and effort! Thanks for a nice 2023 on the video's guys, and will always be watching for more into the New Year! Best of the season to all your friends and family!
I just picked up a 72 ranger bronco this week that was a one owner all original everything there.... 302 3 speed, doesn't have a panel without rot but hey ya gotta try to save em. Plus I got it pretty cheap.
There something about those 304 . My son and I bought a CJ 5 with a 304 had been sitting 3 or 4 years. No rats though. CK the fluids put a little gas down the the carb thing fired right up. no smoke. Lifter noise we put some marvel mistire oil in it fixed it right up. Great video.
You guys sure rolled the dice when you pick this up at the auction, but it looks like you won this time!!! Still needs a lot of work but I was surprised at how easy you got it running and it sounds pretty good!!!! Overall good video!!!!
Back in 1977 I was 17 and my Uncle had a 67 Bronco 3 on the tree 289 he use to let myself and best friend take it on weekends and just be typical teen age boys with a 4 by 4 and have fun.
Get out the sheet metal and the mig welder, its time to get to work. Hoping to see some fab work on this one. Pretty certain a lot of us are hoping t by e same thing. Will it runs are cool but seeing a got it running now we’re patching her up is even better.
Hi Lance & Dad, Very nice to see you-all in good spirit and health. Proud of you clings the bid on the bronco, and bring it back to life. DAD and you very inspiring, I am 66yrs old, and my son 46yrs old, and I would like to do a project car with him. I am always priesting togetherness is the key, seals the bond. 💯%🙏 Love & Respect to you guys, from Rocklands, Mitchells Plain,South Africa
Now your talking my language!!! I am currently working on a 1971 bronco that i started on back in 97 and mine was way way worse ! In. Fact my wife cried real tears as she thought we wasted our money! Hahaha You have a splended starting point! As my bronco was missing every part of value including the oil pan, Rad, exhaust mainifolds intake mainifold Ect ect!!! Good luck guys!
The Lord handed you a miracle and a gift with that one!!! That's a perfect builder for the channel. We all miss seeing your creative sides on full builds. Maybe Lord willing this could be one for us all to enjoy together. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas and Thanks for another great year with you guys!!!!
Wow, now that was impressive! I'll admit that when I watched the auction I thought you were nuts spending the money for it. The Javelin was in much better shape than the Bronco, and they are super rare and bring six figures when restored. I was hoping for that, but you guys bought this instead. Well obviously you knew what you had, and this old girl runs and drives great. No smoke or anything. Great video and I'm sure you will have no trouble selling it for a tidy profit. Congrats and what a great video!!!
There's nothing like going to auctions and bidding on old cars, and bringing them back to their glory! Thanks to you guys I finally found a channel that I'm really interested in 👍..
Merry Christmas to you, the Turnin' Rust Crew - and to Christian for her stellar video work! I really enjoyed this past year with you guys. Looking forward to next year. Happy New Year to you too!!
I used to have one of those back in high school in the early 80s! 1974 bronco w/302, a C4, fords famous unlimited slip rear and posi front, dual tanks. I later added some f-150 shock towers to the front to dual up the shocks. Those are fun, go anywhere cars. I’d take one of those over any model of Jeep! Rusty floor pans and wheel wells and the rain gutters are common. Great 4wd, especially with the j shifter. Another little issue is the electronic ignition box. When it goes out, it is out.
Great job!! It would be great to see the progress of the work, new tires and wheels, washing and polishing... it even reaches an ideal point of sale!! Hugs from Brazil!!
Two thumbs 👍 Lance! You guys may should look for a used / rental 185 CFM air compressor to blow stuff out you buy. It sure would make your life a lot easier!
If I didn't know any better I would swear that Bronco was from up here in northeastern Minnesota. A friend of mine had its identical twin years ago right down to the color, chopped up wheel wells and custom front bumper from when it was used as a portage truck.
aww, what a rustbucket! :o but she runs, drives, and brakes. XD it could very well be that the foam in the corners made everything rust out like it did. Ford germany started to use foam by around 1970 on some models, others got it at 1975. after that you have many problems with rust, and repairing rust, as you have to remove the foam before you weld anything in, or you might end up with a nest of fire inside a spot you can't reach. other brands did it, too, and the cars all but corroded away preemptively. Mercedes used it on the /8 coupes, in the c-column, and you see some of those where the paint (and occasionally, the putty) chips away there. and then you just know there is trouble ahead. anyway, hope this Bronco gets restored. :) after all that it deserves it. ^^
My neighbor has a two first gen broncos, one is mint and sits in his garage, the other is this beautiful blue with a nice patina to it. I contemplate asking him if he'd ever sell the blue one, but I've got one too many non-running cars at the moment.
That is a awesome ford bronco truck, Little fixed up bodywork hose out the whole vehicle wash it down put it all back together wouldn’t take much big super fan of your channel. Keep up the good videos. I think you should work on the bronco some more do a part two or three thanks.
What a treat! I own a 1974 Bronco that my wife's father picked out for her in 1974. It sat for 9 years and I got it running after replacing a broken valve spring. 302 just like your's. Mine is automatic with a new paint like the original. Blue and white with red pin stripes. I'm restoring the interior now. It was great to see you work on an engine that I am so familiar with. Thanks for working on it. That Ford V8 is a real workhorse. No pun intended.

My favourite car. Always wanted one but you'll never find one of these in Australia.
Love the ol Broncos! I had a '72 with a 302 Boss. That was in high school back in the early 80's. Keep it man...
Thanks for the vids! God Bless

Thanks for saving that Bronco. Kind of nice to have a front bumper the size of a work bench.👍

An oldie but a goodie.
Glad you see that you fellas take precautions messing around with that infested engine bay. Good role models.

looks like the old girl isn't read to give up yet she want to live!!! awesome watching y'alls channel!
Ford in this era seemed to use a seam sealer that either caused it to rot or held moisture that caused it to rout out.
Awesome resurrection guys! Great editing as usual👍👍👍
Outstanding work!!!! How fortunate that the engine was in such good shape!!!
Love this saving
Really love the work u did with your dad ..👍👍 Papua New Guinea
Now that was fun and ran good too 😊👍👍👍😋👍
I wouldn't mind having that ol white Escort setting behind the Bronco.
That one actually has a factory diesel in it
@@TurninRustThat little Escort must get about 50mpg with the diesel in it 😮😊😊
