Thank you for this great and very informative video. I wish Kimberly shared more about how Ayurveda helped her. The video was bit short at the end. Please Raelan, don't worry too much about the length. The most important is the contant and the richness of it. We can all afford to pause the video when we get tired and continue watching when we can. More and more people worry about their videos being too long and making them shorter and shorter. I think that's not applicable for the subject of what this channel shares. Healing from Long Chronic illnesses takes time and we all need as many beautiful details and experiences as possible, so we can learn from each other without feeling the rush and the pressure from finishing the interview as soon as possible. Thank you again for what you bring here. Warm cheers xx
I agree.. you have it time stamped which is nice, so you don’t have to watch it all at once if that doesn’t work for you. Great interview!.. keep them coming!
What a wonderful conversation! Thank you Kimberley, after 25 years of ME/CFS POTS etc I am half way through the transformation you describe, and my attitude has changed significantly. The breathing, the cold water therapy and connection with nature are all there. I feel I have at least one more step to take to let go of the fear and your story has inspired me further. Thank you! ❤
Really lovely and inspiring conversation. Am coming out of a long covid crash that made me unable to walk for 4 weeks and am so appreciative of hearing from incredibly sick people who have recovered because losing the ability to walk feels so surreal/bad. Really working to open my mind to exploring brain retraining and do the difficult shadow work etc that can lead to recovery. This is such a helpful UA-cam channel, Raelan, so grateful.
You have to unlearn sickness by learning how to forget. When we don't speak of it we tell our brains it is unimportant to us which reinforces safety. :) Learning how to forget was key for my recovery as well.

Unfortunately my body didnt agree with a vegan diet. I was very weak and hungry all the time. Also a healthy diet did reduce the inflammation, but did nothing for my symptoms. I was also very depressed. I started to give more space for fun foods, eat out and it made me grow in energy. I actually recovered functionally by this.
Same for me. I did a raw vegan diet for almost a year, my symptoms only grew worse. I’m sure it was great for the body but it had nothing to do with symptoms. Food is seldom the root cause. So I stopped doing it cause it was more stress upon dealing with a chronic illness.
@@princessdee01have u tried the opposite end of the spectrum. Zercarb diet? Also called the elimination diet. Works great to remove all possible food related problems. Even lion diet, with removal of bone broth and ground beef due to histamine is an option.
Vegans usually benefit at first not from the vegan foods so much as an absence if the crap foods they are before the vegan diet. I was strict vegan for 2 years in Thailand with the freshest foods etc and it made me weak and opened the door for disease.
I am amazed how you found the strength to keep going and you and for your body to undergo all these treatments! What a mental strength you must have had to be able to endure all that, as well those around you. I also feel that we need to 'marinate' and 'sudder' in our own 'juices' before something start to emerge, softens within us to find meaningful and lasting transformation. I therefor have started to believe that there's no specific way to get better, I also think it's also a matter of time and have had the benefit of having gone through all those experiences. It's a bit like needing to accumulate the mud for the lotus to be able to surface. And the mud is formed by processing all that what has 'died' off. No mud, no lotus... It's easy to think if you would have done earlier all what you have done in the end, it might not have had the same result.
@mariannehenderson5473 I love all that you have wrote hear so much💓 it's so true, it's such a process of transformation. A break down period of figuring out what isn't working, how to process it and let decompose so that we can begin to create something new out of that fresh compost. Just like the lotus begins to grow in the dark mud at the bottom of the pond, that period of beginning to grow ourselves anew deep down there can feel really dark and have growing pains as well. Sending much love and light your way in your process🙌
I started a yoga class while still recovering from severe RSI in my wrist, and the others there except for the teacher didn't know how disables I had been. Shock puts you even more into fight or flight mode and makes your brain even more anxious and stressed, which it already is, and then it actually shuts you down even more to protect you from danger.
