  • Do you have a shoulder injury - or do you just wish to pump your front delts - then try this exercise - using the triceps bar to really blast your shoulders hard!!
The front delt press can be done in lots of ways - but the triceps bar offers a unique grip and good control - allowing you to use some weight to really ounish your shoulders.

I wanna go a strongman orientated route but since my gym doesnt feature strongman equip, this is the closest i can do to simulate log lifting. I perform this while standing tho, first lifting the bar similar to a deadlift and then doing the reps from chest to extended overhead. I really really like the exercise because it requires not only force but also some coordination. I always find my hands-wrists shaking like leaves at times. The sensation also hits diffrent if you try keeping your elbows together.

Awesome video thanks, I like how you explain all parts of the exercise like how it works front delts more and why you should use a bench

      Okay.
Same goes for you and my channel.
Have you taken a look at my Dutch (native language) channel?
You might understand a bit since our languages are somewhat familiar, no?

I'll check it out tonight. Dutch and Danish is very similar when you read it - but I have Dutch friends and been to Holland once - and the pronunciation - well its hard to understand.

Hello, thanks for this. I use a tricep bar to train arms. I do a hammer curl and then a press with bent elbows (almost a lat raise). I was wondering what your view is on this variation? I wonder if it's okay for my RC?
I train 5x5 so don't want to press as that's covered but do want to train my side delts

hammer curls with a triceps bar is great - i prefer dumbbells except when on a preacher bench. But the triceps bar works well too. I'm not quiet sure about the press you are doing - could you describe it a bit more?

LOL, who cares if chest is involved? Chest can be trained with Shoulders and Triceps.
    Push: Chest, Shoulders, Triceps
    Pull: Back, Forearms, Biceps
You can through traps in either one. I prefer to train them with shoulders though.
