I wish disney/ Lucasfilm would make a Darth Vader movie that has nothing to do with the rebellion just Vaders journey to being a feared and powerful sith lord
that sounds like a TV series a movie wont do it justice
Few people would actually want to watch a movie solely about a villain. You would need to alter Vader to have some sort of redeeming qualities. Needless to say, that would be pretty awful. Which is why most of the time you only get doses, scenes, or cameos of Vader.
it has to have the rebellion cause there really are few things other than him destroying rebel groups that made him feared through out the galaxy
@@tehaus10while generally you would be correct, I feel with a Vader movie (series), we already know what, or who, redeems him...
We already have the Vader comics though... I doubt Disney will change that...
@@DekwaDoes Us knowing who would redeem him does not make it a wise move to make a movie about him. It actually might make it worse. A movie or series solely about Darth Vader without fundamentally changing his characterization would have to exist on spectacle alone and would have to be marketed only to Star Wars fans. That wouldn't make for a very good movie and also wouldn't make for a very good return on investment. And would also likely retroactively damage the character.
It's an idea that sounds cool but probably exists best as a fan work or passion project rather than a full feature length film or series.
That line… “surfing the force” is hands down the best explanation of interacting with the force I’ve ever heard. He’s The man!
That actually makes it clearer to understand and see!
Absolutely! I always felt that interacting with the Force was very Zen-like, not to influence it, but rather BE influenced by it and go where it takes you. Like a leaf on the wind. Oh crap, I just mixed my franchise metaphors lol
Just Curious, WTF is the thumbnail supposed to mean?
Who(why) is the arrow pointed 👉 to?
I didn't even know it was Best when Kelloran Beq showed up in that scene; I just saw some Jedi I was unfamiliar with being played in an utterly convincing fashion by an actor I didn't recognize. I hope Best returns as Beq, because he was/is brilliant.
He was the Best.
Vader kills him
Me too & I thot he was incradicawesome!😳
@@ianmorris4922 Vader is already dead in the Ashoka series.
Im glad it wasnt Jar Jar
I wonder if the whale that Grogu saw on the Mandalorian was the same whale that Ahsoka inside of on the last episode.
Good thought,
I had the same thought! John and Dave don’t just through things in without something behind it. Grogu would sense her through the force. Glad someone else had that thought
Ashoka it’s happenening with mandalorian season 3
It probably was Ahsoka that’s why he was having a moment
No need to wonder, they are the same Space whales, that was deliberate
Best's description of using the force was absolutely brilliant. I hope to see more of his story.
he's a smart as Sam Whitwer. I love listening to these guys talk about star wars and the force they really seem to understand it more than anybody else
Disney owes him some hush money after dropping the Darth Jar Jar twist in the prequels.
Ahmed Best deserved this comeback so much
I'm glad to see Ahmed Best get a second chance.
better than being hung, drawn and quartered!
The only Jedi in the whole temple that actually used force push against a clone during Order 66 😂
100 percent a fan of Kelloran Beq especially after hearing all of these amazing quotes from the actor. One does see all of this in his portrayal.
one agrees with one and that makes two
We need the reveal of Jar Jar being a sith.
I kind of think that he's going to be dead, but might still have some flashback appearances to cover more of the path that Grogu took.
I hope not. The actor should be back just because of all the hate the dude got. He didn't deserve it and if they can bring him back as a better character, they should. If the story allows for it, that is.
Likely one of the unnamed Jedi in tombs the inquisitors had killed in Kenobi. We may get a heroic death for him in cartoon form with the bad batch
Yeah,I reckon Vader kills him
chilling how in tune with the dynamics of this universe he is. i can only ant him to be more than just a character, but a episode driver and hope he gets a creator seat. i really think he can reignite the power of the force in the universe from a story meta position.
The way Disney has done their series well: Andor, Mandolorian and Ahsoka; this would be such a great character to have as a stand alone for his own series. I want to see his story unfold and go into a deeper world that is outside of the movies but also intertwined. Give me more!
Lets just ignore the sequel trilogy, Kenobi, Book of boba and the last season of Mando 😂 yeah disneys doing great
@@pyramidion5911i liked obi wan kenobi, but absolutely hated every scene Reva was in. She was a useless character
@@pyramidion5911 I really enjoyed Kenobi. Boba Fett was done dirty. And season 3 of Mando was good. Prequels sucks.
Yes. Get this man more parts please. Or I dunno, a book deal for a text on Force philosophy or something.
An extra leg??
A duel between Beq meeting Baylon Skol would be awesome. They could have history together
I personally never hated Jar Jar Binks. Well I at least never criticized him. Also it would be great to see him and Master Beq interact.
I would love to see more of Kelleran.
May I suggest a more adult themed channel then
@@ianmorris4922 🤨
They may have not explained it that way, it is referenced that way on how the force works and how the Jedi can feel what is coming slightly before it happens in the expanded universe, especially in combat. Surfing the force is a really good metaphor for describing it.
I want a series called The Path or Vader - either could be set around 15 BBY and could pull in Vos and Beq along with all the other danglers that are out there. Could revolve around The Path being set up and could really expand that time period.
Yes!Expand the danglers!😳
Path Vader??
The under water feeling is the same as Tai chi and chi kung the more you train it the stronger you get you can't move things but you can still feel a force feeling it's called chi
He definitely deserves more screen time
He played the most subtle of all the Sith lords, and now an awesome Jedi well in touch with the Force. He has a very deep understanding and deserves more screentime as either character.
We need a darth Vader tv shows on its prime hunting down the Jedi after kenobi show
Agreed! I want evader TV series covering the 25 issues of Vader comics after revenge of the sith. I want to see Vader get his lightsaber, train with the inquisitorius, and build his castle on mustafar or more specifically him going into the dark side Spirit realm to see his wife.
@@samparsons5867Gotta say,that DOES sound interesting m8
I want Star Wars to explore everything pertaining to the Force, Bendu Monks who are skilled in Battle meditation, Acolytes of Mace Windu skilled in Vapad and espionage at the ready for Dark Force users, and any Sith that might emerge from the shadows, and the re-emergence of the Kel Dor, only more aggressive but walking that thin line between Ashla and Bogan.
Let's just pause here a minute and just acknowledge how incredible Best did the dual wield lightsaber stance. It was beautifully fluid and a delight to watch. I would love to see him return.
your explanation sounds a lot like the Shatterpoint technique that Mace Windu used, and perhaps Beq was an acolyte of Mace Windu and upon Windu's apparent death he realized what Mace missed especially being that Windu was blinded by his hatred of the Sith that his missed the obvious threat right beside him.
Shatterpoint, great book!
I think you’re very much right, even if the character is an alive in the present Mando timeline, there’s a lot of opportunity for giving us some backstory about how Grogu got to where he was at the beginning of the Mandalorian. Personally, I’d like to see them reunite with him, maybe they find him in an imperial prison, and then he gives us the backstory about how Greg got out. That could be a really great single episode, and then the character could even sacrifice himself for them in the same episode, or a few episodes later, or become a big part of the story going forward.
So Beq is basically gym leader Brawly from Pokemon, with the whole riding the waves metaphors.
Since he passed and wouldn’t be able to play a younger version of himself I’d love to read a book about Baylon just before order 66
They could do a series with Kelleran and Quinlan smuggling force-sensitive children to safety
Robot Chicken gave us a nice 'look' at how Jar Jar 'ended up'
I’d love to see him, post Empire, being the one to look for new Jedi Students for Luke. Sadly, they can’t do too much with Luke unless they find a new actor. But there’s plenty of adventures Kelloran can be on as he’s looking for the next generation of Jedi and possibly finding old ones as well. Then they can always have flash backs of the past. But I really want them to move forward.
This guy just gets life. It's all waves. The force is just a fantasy manifestation of this view. 🎉
unless jar jar reveals he was complicit with palpatine from the very beginning, I don't ever want to see it again.
I thought it was quite obvious that Darth Plagueis --- I mean Jar Jar went on to orchestrate the events of the original trilogy playing both sides of Rebellion and Empire like puppets on a string, only for his plans to unfold by overlooking the possibility of redemption from Anakin Skywalker
Oh well🤷🏼♂️tough luck😢🤓😎✌🏻
Ok so who the hell was that old person with the big giant red arrow pointing at him in the thumbnail…? lol wtf
If you take what he says and apply it to the space whales. They aren't flying through space, just swimming the ebbs and flow of the force.
Jar Jar is still the "third rail" of Star Wars Dooooooooon't touch iiiiiiiiit! (insert Wilhelm Scream). Considering what Ahmed Best went through and the emotional trauma of seeing this character become the universally hated figure he is (sorry, I'm not part of your universe, if you actually like Jar Jar) , I very much doubt he'll agree to portray Jar Jar again. I was actually moved to tears seeing him given a character that I think everybody must have loved-- and a serious character with gravity and presence.
I believe that Ahmed is a deeply loving, tender hearted, kind and thoughtful man. Hearing these quotes just confirms it. You're right, I think he has a great understanding of the Force and if they said they were going to do a series based on Kelleran Beck I would probably be awaiting this series with the awe I haven't felt since waiting for "the Empire Strikes Back" to come to theaters when I was 13!!!!!!!!!!!!
This confirms it. Darth Jar Jar is real! This dude knows so much of the Force. It’s the only explanation. But for real, the comparison he made to surfing is really cool. The Force is what you perceive it to be from a certain point of view.
You are right about everything you said! I am in complete agreement with you!
I love when an actor is actually a fan of the movie/TV show they are in.
I want to see a Tales of the Jedi where Beq ends up saving Jar Jar from a mob of people who are upset that he's the one that suggested giving Palpatine emergency powers. It would be great symbolism for how the fandom ganged up on Ahmed for his role as Jar Jar.
Hot take-
I'm predicting by the end of the tie-in movie Filoni is planning, that something goes down between Luke and Ahsoka/Kelleran/Ezra. Essentially, Filoni is pulling a reverse of the plot in Fate of the Jedi, where there's another group of Jedi that the First Order wasn't aware of, or couldn't locate.
Luke's mentality as portrayed in Mando is basically a retread of the old Order, where for some odd reason he doesn't from the failures of the past. I think Filoni is shifting Luke's post-ROTJ character arc from the EU to Ahsoka, who's basically the alternate successor to the Skywalker legacy. The upshot is that means this New Jedi Order movie they're making will have Rey basically be a side character.
I think we'd all love to see a Darth Jar Jar story arc.
You nailed all this perfectly
If not in a live action series, this would be something I would love to see explored with this character in something like Tales of the Jedi.
I think it would be cool to see him and Grogu reconnect in The Mando
Everyone thought jar jar was a sith when he was really a Jedi master
Kelloran Beq seems to be a very talented Jedi. I would like to see more of him in the series.
I would like Star Wars to dispell all white people from the universe!MWA-HA-HA-HAAAAA!
As much as I like Kelloren Beq, I was hopping Jar Jar was returning.
Why?Have you hurt one of your legs??
@@ianmorris4922 good one
I just hope the Bob Iger pressure to make Star Wars into more movies instead of TV series doesn’t change these plans
An idea I had was that Kelloran Beq and Grogu somehow do a time jump into the Mandalorian time frame and got separated. So Grogu really didn't experience 30 years of nothing when Mando found him in the first episode.
Beck deserves his own series on Disney +
We do know what happened to Jar Jar Binks. He became a street performer that kids loved but an outcast to everyone else. Eventually there was a book where he fell off a cliff and died
Ahmed always has a last name that begins with the letter B. His name is Best, Jar Jar Binks, Keleran Beck.
I wish Windu would come back saying to all the Sith: "You owe me some credits...motherfuckers!"
Apparently Jar Jar went on to become a street performer.
Thank you for making this video about beck He's a character that I really want to see throughout Star wars universe
The series we need is Vader becoming the Jedi hunter he is known for being and taking out several Jedi along the way. We can explore other force sensitive that survived. Give Cal Kestus his live action series lol
We should get a series with him and Grogu before the Mandalorian
Who said that?
@@HENNY_22 I want a series like that. Sorry
I don't think that's a very good idea. It'd be too much of a retread of Mando, except we know he somehow fails in the end
@@fishsohorny A 4 episode series
Surfing the force is brilliant. It reminds me of Bruce Lee's statements about becoming water.
I think he'll have more story when it comes to his escape with Grogu. However, finding Grogu alone, I would imagine he died at some point before The Mandalorian season 1. I can't imagine Beck ever leaving Grogu on his own, unprotected. And he'd certainly be gone during the Ahsoka series. He'd be an old man by that point, if still alive. Beck is probably about Obi-Wan's age.
We all know what happened to Jar Jar... Darth Jar Jar: The great drunken master himself :-P
Best really got the treatment by the fans for just doing his job, and that was a terrible thing to do to the guy. So I would like to see him bring his all to a new character like this, and see what he as an actor is capable of, and give him a chance to be seen in the way he wanted to be seen.
I Totally Agree! Ahmed Best Should Definitely Come Back! Ahmed Best, Your the Best!👍
Surfs Up Dude!
Best's "surfing the force" description fits so well with the old training method using a face shield with those flying balls that shoot lasers at you. You can't see them so you have to feel it coming first. It's perfect.
But the problem with Beq surviving is Yoda and Kenobi's conversation about Luke being their last hope. Yoda replied, "No there is another." It seems this old wise master with such a deep connection to the force should have said, "No there are plenty others" considering all these Jedi survivors they keep adding into the scripts.
Take a shot every time he says kelleran beq. You’ll be dead by the 5 minute mark.
in the next remester of return of the jedi we get a scene of palps looking off to the side and we see jar jars dismembered head stuffed on the wall.
Kelloran was double crossed and killed by the Sith Lord Jar Jar Binks.
The ability to anticipate through the Force was shown as something trainable when we view Tales of the Jedi Episode 5 "Practice Makes Perfect".
If he's still alive he'd be in his 80's.
Meesah Darth Jar Jar wreak havoc on the Jedi

It makes sense they say surfing is pure Zen
WEG D6 games, we had a Surfer-Dude Jedi. A real-life surfer who just loved Jedi. He was a Taoist. Does it surprise anyone he was the coolest Jedi we ever had at our table? LOL
What he’s trying to do here is keep his job.
2:07;and was Grogu Yoda and Yaddle's secret lovechild!
In this sizzling saga ALL will be revealed when we pull down our pants to the jedi!
I wanna see a Vader show and this is the dude he hunts down and slaughters
seeing the Force as your Ally Friend Confidant even
I want a Jedi: Ronan series that follows him.
Sounds like the parable of the bhuddist, zen and taoist floating down river.
There have to be more Jedi and other Force-Sensitives in hiding out there. I want to see Kelleran Beq, Ahsoka, Mando and Luke and all their allies join forces against Thrawn.
Would be great for inserting him into Obi-Wan and Andor, be that generations Carson Teva, make the McGuffin a person for a change
Agreed.
I hope the Galaxy Far Far Away continues to expand!
It’s actually awesome to see a Jedi besides Obi-wan and Yoda survive order 66 especially when in the temple. I was stoked Caloran Beck survived since the Jedi were so overwhelmed and hella outnumbered. I’m still curious obout Mace Windu aswell. I always got the feeling he survived that fall
Well Sam is VERY expensive these days due to the fact he's a walking modern acting legend already so I would expect a CHEAPER replacement black fella Jedi otherwise people will be upset and the word racist will be banded around like a nylon virus towards all whiteish folk!
It may not happen IF Sam decides to have a pink or cerise coloured lightsabre and call himself Only-One-Bend-Over however!🤓
@@ianmorris4922 The Ahsoka series has been really good so far just like the mandalorian. If they start going woke people will stop watching. As long as Dave Filoni is in charge it should be all good but if Kathleen Kennedy gets her grubby hands on it she will destroy it just like she’s destroyed so much Star Wars movies and episodes. If Disney get rid of her then Star Wars will thrive
That's not possible when Windu's death is the first one Yoda reacts to in ROTS.
they should totally make them meet with jar jar lmao
I clicked for the thumbnail, which had absolutely no relation to the video.
Some things are best left in the past, and Jar Jar Binks is one of them. I have spoken.
Sheeeeeeeeesssssh hes gonna teach jason and will have green n blue sabers omg
It is my firm opinion that Kelleran Beq is instrumental in starting The Hidden Path
I went back through episode 5 but I don’t see where Beck shows up in the flashbacks. Where did you see him like you portray in your thumbnail?
I feel like Kelloran Beq will come back with The Path that was eluded to in the Obiwan show…
They never really show Mace Windu die just falls down but he couldve easily landed on a vehicle.
WE ARE GOING TO DARTH JAR JAR TIMELINE SHEESH
I’d be on board with it. I mean we didn’t get much of him but I like him; he seems like an interesting Jedi
Surf the Force.... gnarly!
