Ezra meeting Luke feels like something that Dave Filoni has wanted to do from the beginning. The crew has met Leia, Obi-Wan and Lando! It’s time to make Ezra the “Kyle Katarn” to Luke’s new Jedi Order.
This, so much this. Let him be our "Kyle Katarn," please Dave Filoni. Make it so!!!
I always hoped Cal Kestis would become the Kyle Katarn to Luke’s Order since he is also older and has more experience
Luke Meeting Ezra
Luke: You do Possess the Force, I can feel it.
Ezra: Yeah, I honed my force powers while stranded on Periedia.
Luke: You're not that powerful.
Ezra: I'm not
Luke: No
I totally agree with you.
Except it's not gonna happen with Dave filoni, turning characters gay or bisexual or lesbian, and Kathleen Kennedy hates the original Legacy characters, so that idea is dead as star wars is, and Dave filoni is a hidden twink, who has nothing to give by trying to make a minor character like ashoka into something she's not, the reason why people were watching this show, which nobody did only because we was hoping to see the original characters from the rebels animated TV show, in life-form which we never got, and this was all bout turning Sabine into a lesbian Jedi knight and just emasculating all the male characters from the original animated TV show they couldn't even so Jeb, is was a lesbian Fest because filoni is hook on that.
I feel the #1 character we the fans want Ezra to meet in live action just as much as Luke. That Hando
A hondo reunion would be amusing... I always liked him, Another lovable starwars scoundrel outlaw... with a (mostly) functional moral compass...
I love this video. People hate on Ezra so much, or play down how capable he is. His growth during Rebels and the types of opponents he has gone up against show how powerful he has become. I really hope his future involvement is able to showcase this better than Ahsoka did
Actually Ezra has become my favorite Jedi besides Luke.
@@MrSaints74 I totally agree! Luke is my favorite Jedi, and Ezra is close behind him. Everyone picks anakin but he was not a good guy
What really gets me is how little it took for Luke to completely change, while 10+ years of being gone didn’t change Ezra AT ALL 😂
@@pw383426 let’s be honest tho, this series may have had its flaws but it really showed what Anakin could’ve been
Love the character from the start of Rebels
Not only it would of been great to see Luke & Ezra, but also a scene with Anakin‘s force ghost with his son, Luke. that would’ve been awesome to seen
This is just my opinion, but I like to believe that due to his experiences, Ezra’s usage of Form III rose to Kanan’s level, being moderately proficient with the style
Bro didn’t practise with a lightsaber for ten years straight bro
not better than Kenobi’s form III
😂Dude where in this joke of a show, he was struggling to use the force and Sabine Aka super woman who survived a lightsaber stab, is now more powerful than erza who's been a Jedi for 10 years and has been reduced to a bitcxh and a joke of a character, we got rebels in the animated form only to remember, this is Dave filoni fuc you to the fans of the show, by turning Sabine gay and erza into a walking joke.
I’m not saying that Ezra’s Form III was close to Obi-Wan’s. Not even remotely close. And I am aware that he hadn’t picked up a lightsaber for a decade. However, I like to believe that when he constructed his new lightsaber, he was probably recalling his saber training while under Kanan’s tutelage. And in the finale, we clearly see that while he was disarmed by a zombie death trooper, Ezra’s skill in blast deflection was still well versed.
Say what you will about the show as a whole, I’m simply stating my own personal opinion
@TheKickass85 well they just had to establish that the Force is Female.
I’m old school and I enjoy seeing Luke at his maximum Jedi…anytime they show it!
I will have no discussion comparing any Jedi to Luke. He’s the GOAT Jedi
what? lol
Rey is better😂😂😂😂 just kidding...im sorry for the blasphemy 😂
Hey, there are some comparisons to be made…
Edit: but at the end of the day he’s one of a kind, no matter how much they try to deny that
Let’s not ignore the fact that Luke also has genetics on his side, his father is probably the most powerful Jedi that ever lived
Could have been! Anakin Skywalker didn’t reach his full potential. That’s why he’s not the most powerful Jedi ever. 💀
Luke still would have been more powerful and it would’ve been a very close second considering prime. Luke would’ve been more powerful in every aspect of being a Jedi than anybody else. He was levels above everybody if Anakin would’ve had to chance to train properly, he would’ve been very close to Luke, but Luke was still more powerful.
@@TheDanielwoodbury buddy don’t be delusional FP Anakin destroys FP Luke
@@BoxingandMMAislife11 how do you figure George Lucas the man who created the series of Luke is by far the strongest, especially if we’re talking about legends Anakin gets mopped
@@TheDanielwoodbury i’m sorry you’re delusional George Lucas say himself that FP Anakin beats if everyone and anyone legends or canon
I don't think Ezra is like Baylan at all. His association with the Noti would seem to suggest he'll fight to defend the weak from those who would use them or prey on them. Baylan is amoral and has no compunction about killing indiscriminately even though his life is not at risk.
I think they are trying to say that both Ezra and Baylan don't associate with the term Jedi or Sith, but they use their abilities for their own agenda, be that agenda light or dark, depending on their intentions. Ezra's are good and helpful, while Baylan's are selfish.
@@briansprinkle7855 no they were speculating on what kind of character Ezra might be "when he was found".
This was scripted & recorded before we met Ezra. It is not an analysis or any kind of reflection of the characters live-action portrayal
@@FlurryMainchin that's what i said... i wasn't talking the actor's portrayal at all.
@Lupin788
FINALLY! Someone else who sees it. Baylan and Shin murder the entire crew of a ship and then scuttle it. It is said in the background in one of the Ahsoka episodes. These Sith/Dark Jedi are always sociopathic mass murderers who don't care any more than swatting flies.
utimately I believe Ezra, Sabine and Grogu will form the core of a hybrid Madalorian/jedi group aka the legends version of the Jedi order
Ezra was well trained by Kanan and I feel like he got event better during his "exile". Id say he is not on Luke's level but he is up there.
Ezra didn't learn how to open the temple from Maul, he learned it from Kanan in Path of the Jedi...
I could be wrong, but I think Ezra and Luke were born on the same day, or within 24-48 hours of eachother.
Ezra being born on the day the Empire was founded (mentioned in SW Rebels S1:E8 "Empire Day" ) and Luke was born within hours of it being founded at the end of EpVI: ROTS.
Unfortunately I don't think so. Do remember that Luke and Leia are twins. And Ezra met Leia in the Rebels series, and Leia seemed a bit older than Ezra.
@@matthewwyatt1688girls age faster
@@matthewwyatt1688 upon further review.
Ezra was two days older than the twins.
I'm pretty sure Luke and Leia were born two days after Ezra was
@@matthewwyatt1688 believe me when I say that doesn’t matter 😂
In Rebels S3 they portrayed Luke as being like, 8 years old, but he SHOULD be like 16-17 there 😂
Imagine the potential of this
Ezra Travels to Yavin, there he Sees: Luke Skywalker, Cal Kestis, Kyle Katarn, (from jedi academy/outcast) Reva, and other Jedi who were scattered across the galaxy
He sees hope
Please no Reva…
I feel like Katarn would be done wrong too
In a way, I think Ezra has become what Luke would have if Vader was not his father. Ezra's cause is to protect people and bring peace, Luke's was to protect people, but more importantly, to redeem his father.
However, a big difference between Luke and Ezar is the times they found themselves. Ezra found himself in a time where there were many force user's who wanted to kill him as well as the Empire, but Luke only really had Vader to worry about as Luke had much of the Rebellion to deal with the Empire. I think they would be happy to meet another Jedi, but their ways are very different which might cause some friction if they worked together to train the new Jedi Order. Luke would train combat and peace, whilst Ezra would teach how to control animals and war or how to kill your enemies.
Whilst Luke and Ezra are alike, they are very different, but this is due to the times they were active as Jedi during the Empire.
Luke learned from some of the best of the Jedi…
but then again, Ahsoka was one of Ezra’s teachers huh..
A Great Man once said,
"Shut Your Eyes, Marion !"
"Don't Look At It !"
i hope we get season 2 of ahsoka sooner and not later and i love to see ezra meet luke
Oh we probably won't get S2 for a good 1.5 to 2 years because of everything else in development.
I'm guessing mid to late 2025. Probably late July or early August. Possibly even early 2026.
@@Twerkulies I can wait forever...it wasn't that great!
thats a pretty damn long time. A year is plenty of time even with other projects. @@Twerkulies
I really love the way you think about this. And you are a excellent speaker. That was very nice. Thanks for boggling my mind.
GOing to luke and receive Training with LUKE would be Epic.....He will finish his training.
my favorite wish list ive come upon thus far. this would be awesome if this comes true.
I thing Dave plans on making Ezra the "Kyle Katarn" and Shin the "Mara Jade" of the Disney cannon. They actually fit pretty well . I can totally see Shin as Luke's wife and Ezra as one who has controlled both his light and dark side as seen in rebels.
Hope this is true 🤞🏽
yoo I can't unseen it now.
@@sulwhale3171 I can
Shin ain’t no Mara Jade lol
One of my favorite videos from you! 👍
They could have had an Endgame style movie but alas we got Luke never seeing Han, Luke flipping his lightsaber over his shoulder, and of course the legendary comment from Poe, "somehow Palpatine is back" 😂😂 What a waste.
I had so wished that we had something like that, if they had some actual plan they could have had Episodes 7, 8 and 9 as a mirror to Marvel's Phase 1 in essence, introducing new characters with a few of the original cast around, gradually building up the stakes and storylines, adding in new characters, intertwining with the TV shows until you get a big finale and boom you can put the Skywalker Saga to bed and move on with new characters, and tell different stories instead of just re-hash what's already been done.
Watched STAR WARS in the theater in 1977. Luke Skywalker has been and always will my favorite Jedi.
Disney is not as smart as your theories.
I think the series has been steadily going towards the idea that every force user we followed so far are steadily learning to follow the will of the force.
Ezra should meet Luke.
That is how you build a character, Disney. You don't shove an all-knowing powerful Mary Sue with no character growth down people's throats.
Luke Skywalker meeting Ezra Bridger is awesome!
Ahsoka is my master and she trained me well and now I am the master and one of the last Jedi and may the force be with you
Amazing video bro
This is where the fun begins!
since first watching Rebels, I have been a fan of Ezra, and probably like anyone who watched that show, was pretty excited to see it's continuation (in some form) in Ahsoka. I think something that causes confusion, at least for me, is similar to the whole "where was Ahsoka during the original trilogy?" type question, cause she was of course created after...so, it will be interesting to see what happens with Ezra, Ahsoka, Sabine etc by the time of the sequels (if they remain canon, which I assume they will)!
As far as power...if we take it based purely on the shows (cause I haven't read any of the current canon comics/books) Luke seems more powerful than Ezra or Ahsoka at the time of "Mondoverse" shows. He started his training WAY after either Ezra or Ahsoka, but seeing him in Mando S2, he just seems to have it more together. This could be him having greater control/connection to the force, or just more confident in himself, but he faced temptation to the dark side from not only the Emperor (like Ezra), but from his own father...and turned him back to the light. Ahsoka doesn't seemed to get this same confidence until the events before she switches to the white robes (in Ahsoka)...and even then she doesn't appear to have the skill in the force as Luke does...but this may also come down to writing and/or choreography!
I cannot wait to see what we get in the upcoming shows and Filoni's movie...it might not be to everyone's taste, but I am feeling excited for Star Wars again!
Luke Skywalker was my hero growing up. I was 9 when jedi came out, then I read most of Legends books. Could not get enough of Star Wars because of him. I am much older now, but I get the same or close to the same vibe from Ezra. So glad they brought him into live action.
I'd love for Luke to train Ezra in Ahsoka season 2 that would be awsome. I think Luke would be a great teacher for him. I'd love to Luke and Ahsoka fighting side-by-side!
I think Luke would largely be a good teacher of lightsaber combat to Ezra, while Ezra would largely be a good Force ability teacher to Luke. Remember that while Ezra didn't have a lightsaber to use or train with, he did have a looooong time to train, connect and innovate with the Force since he would have been forced to due to yet another trial by fire while on Peridia having to hold off all the bandits, Thrawns forces, possible attacks from Nightsister Dark Magics, etcetera, leading to a likely very high proficiency and skill within the Force, at least in terms of combat that is. While Luke would have had a lot of time to become even more proficient in his skill with a lightsaber, but he likely would fall a bit short of Ezra in Force skill, at least in some areas pertaining to combat this early in his life (or career maybe?) as a Jedi.
i love how he threw the charlie hopkinson "shin hottie" in there instead of shin hati
Can you blame either him or Charlie though? She is hot after all.
Shame it all ends with the Sequels. Really makes it difficult to watch anything post-ROTJ now. When Luke showed up at the end of Mando I felt like a kid for a moment...and then remembered it didn't matter. Broke my heart all over again.
I think Ezra will follow in the footsteps of QGJ, he has an acute sensitivity for the force, his perception and force intuition already rivals masters. He doesn’t have the dogmatic view of Jedi and other classes. He has a powerful understanding of the light. I think he will be lone rogue master trusted in the light side of the force the same as Qui Gon Jinn known for following his gut intuition of the force and not catering to protocols and worldy views of the order.
He won't be Luke's level, but he could have the potential to rival Dooku, or Windu...maybe.
Glad we got Ezra back
I think during the events of force awakens Ezra is either old like Luke was killed off or passed away
Just a point, but styles and ability with the lightsaber wouldn't be "powerful", it would be "skillful". You can be very powerful, but have little skill, and still be beaten by some one with significantly less power and far more skill with what they have.
In Ezra's case, as with all Jedi of significance, I think both skills and power are high.
I want Starkiller, maybe as a inquisitor or something. But him vs Asoka would be amazing
ezra is like 2 days older than luke... basically exact same age
This is a good way for them to have Luke also merging light and dark aspects and not fully following the Jedi way especially with how he acted with Grogu and than to realize he made a mistake with that.
Will Ezra train with Luke? Don't count on it, not as long as Kennedy is around
I'm sorry but as long as Kathleen Kennedy is around we won't see Luke .
Indeed
Oh right so that wasn’t Luke in Mando season 2 neither was that him in book of boba Fett
@@ArnoldSquashaNigga he outshined the main character. She can't have that. You can't have Luke in the Ahsoka show Bec no one will want anything else but luke
Sad, yah?
@@ArnoldSquashaNiggayour right it wasn’t. Ahsoka died in rebels. All this is an alternate timeline.
My whole thing is are they all dead later on since Kyle Ren supposedly burned down the temple with jedis in it. IdK but between then and now we only have Rey left.
Ezra could train Cannan's son now that he made it back to his galaxy...that would complete that circle
Ezra is defintely strong with the force, however, not a well-rounded lightsaber duelist. On the other hand, he was witness to some of the greatest lightsaber duels, Maul vs the Inquisitors, Ahsoka vs Darth Vader, he himself even went toe-to-toe to the Grand Inquisitor and Vader and survived. Those experiences few others can claim to have. It would make sense and a great storyline that Ezra helps Luke to develop newer lightsaber forms that are easier to master.
Hera takes Ezra to Luke’s school planet, for training for Thrawn, there Luke is training Leia, this would make me cry
Luke, Ezra and Ahsoka teaming up to defeat Abeloth will be awesome!
Only if Ahsoka and Sabine gets back to their own galaxy as well, and so far they have no way to doing that.
Bruh it’s gonna be Rey fighting Abeloth lol
@@harrambou9468 Are you just saying that, or are actually supporting that nonsense?
Ezra as Powerful as LUKE! Yeah Right!
Perhaps he is the one to bring balance to the force. Thru his interactions with Maul and Bendu, he only sees, and uses the force. Ezra is aware of the light and dark sides, and is able to use both. As is evident on his ability to open both light and dark holocrons.
Ezra is great enjoy watching him sum times humorous as well.😁
What I find hilarious is…how little it took for Luke to completely change, while 10 years of being removed from everything didn’t change Ezra AT ALL 😂
I like to think when he meets Luke, Luke will be like "Ezra Bridger, yes, Ahsoka has spoken rather highly about you, I had a feeling you might show up someday!" Ezra would tell him about Ahsoka and Sabine having been left behind, but Luke assures him they will find a way back.
I hope Ezra will team up with Luke to help take down grand admiral thrawn in season two
Ehh Luke could probably care less. Thrawn returns roughly 15 years before Luke goes into exile so I'm pretty sure at this point he's busy starting the new Jedi order, and we already saw in mando series that he's been building a temple. Maybe he'll appear at some point and offer to teach Ezra or offer him a teaching position... after he knights him and gives him the rank of master of course lol.
Ezra meeting Luke and get some kind of training would be wonderful. I can see that.
Who remembers Ezra pushing a AT-AT off a ledge by mind controlling the Pilot. . .
AT-ST 🤓
Lol
but yeah _I remember._
“When did Kanan teach you that?”
“He didn’t.”
@@harrambou9468Next level Bad assery
the only thing i think is a bit sad is that he did not return to his old unorthodox blaster saber design for tthe Ahsoka series... i loved that design... reminds me of the laser sword/blaster thingy from uulysses 31
Ezra is the Beastmaster. It's his best power.
They aren't nearly the same age, they ARE the same age. Ezra and Luke are both born on Empire Day.
but regarding Ezra and Luke meeting, I'm super excited to see this. I wanna get my fan fiction out there so that, hopefully, my original characters can make an appearance in the movie. lol
Cringe
They were both born on the same day.
In Return of the Jedi Yoda says that no more training will be required of Luke. This says to mean he has passed all the tests with the exception of fighting Vador.
Problem: Ezra, Groku , Ashoka... they all must disappear. The better Ashoka and Mandalorian develop the characters, the more illogical Episode 7/8 becomes. The only possible explanation for EP.8 Luke would be a very very very very bad ending for all Ashoka and Mandalorian protagonists.
Quentin Tarantino would need 1.5 films to convey it in a meaningful way, the stronger the characters become, the more difficult it is to make a meaningful transition to the sequels.
Why wasn't Ezra in the Sequel trilogy? Retcon the sequel tril and look at the POSSILITIES!
ezra the bridger between light and dark sides
If they do season two of Ahsoka, I would imagine that Luke will appear at some point.
You mean a gray force user at the end. Just like bendu. He used both light/dark i personally think this is where ezra is and ashoka. Luke still is just a jedi cause it is all he really knows and wants.
Seems like it is much easier to be an exceptional swordsman in animation.
According to Balan Skoll, Ezra is a Boken Jedi, and the appearance of Anakin is pointing to Ahsoka's prowess! Why did Luke not want either Ahsoka or Ezra or even Huyang! Over estimating the powers of young Skywalker, you are. Only pain will you find, if this pathway you take. That Ezra is powerful in the force, and will take Jacen Jarus/Sandula as a Padiwan. Being familiar with Thrawn, Ezra is properly positioned, and Anakin's appearance with the world between worlds will help keep Aboleth at bay while working against the "Thread of Destiny" that the Dathomirian witches represent!
Yeah Ezra told Ahsoka he had seen some of Anakins training holocrons. Ezra was a whole lot better as a Jedi than he was in Rebels. It's obvious Ezra was very strong in the force and had continued to train. I guess he didn't have a lightsaber to train with and he was rusty in saber combat but stout in force powers.
I would like to have seen Ezra in Rebels Season 3 or 4 get another face to face with Darth Vader.. I think it would have been a very different outcome to it then what we saw with "kid" Ezra at the end of Season 2
And we know one of the red guard was in ahoska
Maul died long before Darth Vador came
And for many fans, none of that matters since Disney turned Luke Skywalker, one of the greatest heroes in movie history into a whining quitter. If someone back in the day had tried to pull that crap on John Wayne, he would have refused to go along with it.
Still wondering how he got the blue kyber, i like to think that it's kanan's but it could as well be some spare one
agree.... there's grey signs everywhere... or WHOLE force users... not djust dark and not just light....just force
I want to see Erza meets Grogu and they share thier info about galactic creatures like Purgil, Rancor 😁
I hope that they are going to lean back towards legends
I’m curious: what lightsaber forms do the inquisitors use? Most / all of them are former Jedi, so they presumably know forms other than 7. They were trained by Vader, who used a customized form 5… but he could teach them the other forms. And form 7 specifically takes advantage of the dark side.
So, on the one hand, form 7 would take the best advantage of their dark side power. But on the other hand, Palps intentionally kept them weak, so they would never be threats to him. But this is all speculation on my part. Is there any mention in canon of their forms?
Luke, Ezra, and Kyle would be a great team.
Ezra and Jacen will probably go to Luke’s school in season 2
Ezra will prob be more of a teacher than student.
The characters that I’m hoping to see in Season 2 are Din Djarin, Grogu, Bo-Katan Kryze, Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, Zeb Orrelios, Rex, Wolffe, Cobb Vanth, Elia Kane, Gilad Pellaeon, Alexsandr Kallus, and Imanuel Doza.
we do not know this at all, most would thought luke show up for this, especially since, they had no chioce but bobf took place before ahsoka takes place
i would love to see ezra in luke's new jedi order
Have Anakins force ghost speak to Luke is what im looking forward too
Ezra is a Grand Master like Luke by the time he gets back from the other Galaxy. I hope Lucas doesn't drop the ball now that he's got it back. The story has come to a point where the slate is ready to be truly another galaxy full of stories + the rest of the universe I'm guessing [infinity]. 🙂
Who trained Ezra again, Kanan Jarrus, and when you want Tales of Jedi, fifth episode, Kanan Jarrus watched Ahsoka skill set and it was far beyond his..
the future of Star Wars is Rey with Ahsoka
did i miss a season two of this? i dont recall that the dude ever showed up..
It's possible that Luke will show up but my heart will shatter if Zeb doesn't appear. We know he's around because of the Madalorian and he's just as (if not more) important to the story than Luke.
in before all this parallel between luke means that ezra will be lukes opposite in the end
Anyone else feel that Ezra's padawan will be Jacen? Who else would Hera trust him with.
Loved this video! It really pulls all of it together for a HUGE movie! I can't see myself watching the Rey movie/s, simply because of the horrid political agenda that has washed over that crowd like a malignancy. But if you are right, and the other side of Star Wars is pulling together all of these different franchises for one huge team up, I'M ALL IN!
I don't know Ezra's full story. What I'm most curious about is if Filoni understands what the Jedi and Sith of the original trilogy understood: that there's a lot more to a Jedi duel than just putting your lazersword through the other guy.
What I find hilarious is how little it took for Luke to completely change, while 10 years of being gone didn’t change Ezra AT ALL 😂
Ezra 3rd master was Maul
Being powerful isn't the way of a jedi it's balance of control of their own self, never to lose control of their anger, the inner desire to use the darkeside of anger. Force is powerful, but jedi's are warriors of the light and use the forces of their being for good. That being said, a well taught jedi can use more of the unlimited parts of the inner workings of their minds' eye to make things around them even bend to them not by fear or the Forse, but by proven methods of training a connection between other jedis and see a better way around a event. Any master jedi can be unpredictable, but sometimes, two are evenly the same unless one is better with the force if he or she has been trained since a youth. Luke wasn't a youth a child his training came later as a teen as most his force abilities weren't strong but time they grew quickly, but still his powers at any time were strengthened by hope and wisdom from Yoda and the forces around him over the years. Others are his ages, like his sister are unquestionably the same, Lea is and will always be a strong jedi force user because of their share heritage of the past and future connections to the nature of the Forse, as force warriors and force phantoms, to the end Luke and Lea Skywalker and their families and connections to the jedi orders and future force users will continue to bring both good and possibly the darkness together a healing of ways to set up a collective of the new jedi order set a number years into a future of unknown date where young jedi are taught in a totally different way about the abilities they have from the past and unlock the code to the force to enable travel through the many galaxies and beyond imagination. Skywalkers Legacies: Star Multiverse, the first multiverses jedi order, and possibly time travelling? Origins of our universe?
Ezra Luke and Leah were all born on empire day
Ezra has become a bokken jedi and will become a true bokken jedi master eventually. A bokken jedi is more like a modern version of the ancient jedii order who made use of light and dark sides of the. Sought balance within themselves, with each other, their homeworld and the force. They also believed in the possibility of redemption and the power of positive attachments as well as letting the go of attachments before they become detrimental to the balance.
I thought Bokken meant trained after the Order fell, I like this idea better though to be honest.
