Most likely Ezras new crystal simply came from Huyangs stock of parts. It makes sense he would have a stock of crystals since Jedi didnt go to Ilum every time they lost a saber (Obi Wan and Anakin are thrown a saber each in the Geonosis arena) equally the training sabers would have needed crystals too etc

I think Ezra's lightsaber represents his intentions at a given moment. He began as a Guardian eager to take the fight to the Empire with the Rebels. Then he became a Consular as he slowly grew more interested in learning the intricacies of the Force than martial skills, to the point of discarding his Jedi weapon to pursue mastery of the Force. Now he's back and he's actively fighting to protect his family, a Guardian once again. It's only a pity he didn't have a brief stint as a Sentinel for a bit.

I always kinda assumed that his crystal in his second saber was the same one as his original saber, because when Vader cuts his lightsaber in half the crystal falls out and is just laying on the ground. And when he constructs his second saber he's a more developed jedi and was able to imbue a different color more suitable to his experience at that moment.
I would like to see her have something different. I think purple would fit. We don’t see enough different colored crystals. Ahsoka and Windu’s were the most unique. I also think Grogu should use the crystal from the darksaber for his own.
@@KforFreedom I think pink would get confused with the red. But I would love if she got the crystal from Morrak and tried to purify it like Ashoka did but wasn't powerful enough so it stayed half white and half red, thus making pink. I just don't see that happening
I was thinking about kyber crystal bleeding and wondering if the step towards bleeding a crystal is in fact the act of intentionally spilling innocent blood!
Nah. To my knowledge, it's using the force to imbue it with incredible anger, hate and rage and going through all those emotions. I'm pretty sure one of the comics goes in depth about it.
I thought Ezra took the green crystal from that cross guard saber he found on Malachor It would make sense, because he was blaming himself for both Kanan and Ahsoka and maybe he went there hoping to find her... Or her remainings. He could also find lightsaber details there I just don't think that Ghost team could afford the crystal Just imagine the short episode between 2 and 3 season which starts with Ezra having doubts on whether he should use the holocron or not and it tells him that if isn't sure, he should face what his weakness already brought to. So he arrives at Malachor, wonders around the exploded temple thinking about the events that happened here. Imagining how Kanan got blinded by Maul, then going to the heart of the temple, where Ahsoka fought Vader. Him wondering if Ahsoka was killed by Vader or in explosion All of this brings even more hatred towards himself and he starts to meditate and opens the holocron with goal of using it. There he cuts his hair and creates a new lightsaber using details from dead jedi and inquisitors' sabers. He arrives on malachor as a naive sorrowed boy, but leaves as an serious man excpeted the goal of doing anything to protect and avenge for his friend.
I don’t believe blue= Guardian and Green= consular is canon anymore. If anything, Ezra in the Asokha episode was giving me consular vibes big time (not wanting to use a lightsaber and using the force instead etc). Also his first lightsaber crystal was shown to be intact after the lightsaber was destroyed, so he could have reused it for his second. We saw that the Kyber crystal colours can change based on construction, as seen when Anakin changed the colour of Ashoka’s lightsaber after modifying it.
From this explanation I and the way things have played out and the way Sabine's character has been shown I definitely see her also as a counselor as well. She definitely thinks more about the effects of things and more of an open mind. Instead of believing in the feat of failure she believed even in defeat their could be victory. In that I'm talking about how she makes the decision to give Baylan the map and believing that she can find Ezra and that there would be a way to stop Thrawn. Then she makes the choice to not abandon her master to get Ezra on the ship. Ezra is the one sure proof that Thrawn could return and now when the republic sees that Ezra has returned they will now see that Thrawn too can return. Ezra not taking back the lightsaber given to Sabine is him showing his knowledge of the roles they now have.
I understand why Ezra used blue lightsaber. And why Luke uses green. Luke searches very higher mysteries of the Force, life, very higher plains. But both he and Ezra are two sides of the same coin. Do the video about Jedi Ronin. May the Force be with you too😊
Homie wanted to switch up his Class Setup 😅 Went from Consular to Guardian, I respect it. Sabine as a warrior definitely needs a blue blade as well, though.
Another hint that Ezra didn't imbue his essence in his green crystal is that he was dabbling in the dark side at the time. That should have resulted in something along the lines of purple.
We need to see a few holocrons on jedi ranks. I already researched them on Wookipedia but if you male a few videos about them its always better. Keep it up and may the force be with you.
I believed that at the time Ezra altered the OG Blue Crystal's connection as when Vader broke the Lightsaber the Crystal fell out so what's to say he grabbed it and tuned in to it as we know from when Anakin changed Ahsoka's Lightsaber from Green/Yellow to Blue so what's to say Ezra didn't do the same since at the time Ezra was learning to be more with the Force through the Sith Holocron's teachings instead of just being a protector.
People are over-thinking this blue lightsaber choice. Ezra made his new blade from spare parts on the ship; it isn't like they made a detour to Ilum for new crystal. It was simply the one the droid picked up.
I would like an explanation of the Jedi Ronan they would be in your Sentinel because there is no temple to guard for your order to protect I suppose the Ronan’s which is going round hoping whoever needed it
the beauty of the Jedi Sentinel as of Old Legends, they are able to intergate themselves into the wider galaxy due to their focus on skills over lightsabers and force abilities. If Jedi order was real and visited Earth, many of us would find it easier to be a Jedi Sentinel due to our ages.
As the Green crystal was handed by Ezra to Sabine, what options does Sabine have? Take Ahsoka's method and cleanse the crystal from red to blue? or white? The dark saber was clearly not one for Sabine. Is blue or white a better starting point? What color would suit her direction in the Force? Same question for Shin, if she ever asked Ahsoka for mentorship to complete her Jedi training?
I would be a sentinel all the way… yellow! There’s not enough about sentinel’s, I would love a video devoted to different aspects of being one. Also about why yellow, the history.
It has to be his same Crystal from his previous blaster lightsaber and in my canon My Personal Jedi Master Is Literally the symbol of what it means to be a Jedi Sentinel and he wields a yellow double-bladed lightsaber
I see how it makes sense for Ezra but I hate how they force every main character at this point into having a blue lightsaber. Ahsoka, Ezra, Luke in TLJ, Rey for the most part, Ben Solo at the end of ROS, kinda wish we got more green.
I want to add an observation, this scene is way more dramatic then it sounds. When Ezra turns to ask Sabine if ahsoka ever teached her how to build a saber, and she vanishes, people assume it is some kind of a "grudge" she kept on the fact Ahsoka did not teached that, but in fact It may be shame, because she probbably tried to teach Sabine how to, but Sabine never got it right, and the main problem being te guidance of the force is essential to build one (else anyone in the galaxy could make one). This is bound to be verry frustrationg and shaming to Sabine, first because signifies her failure to become a jedi up to that point, but also because she is one of the best engeneers in the galaxy, she manufactures weapons of all kind, but that she could never do. It is her personal stain.
I always thought the blue crystal was from Ezra’s old blaster lightsaber that he lost on Malachor. I can see Ashoka finding the broken lightsaber and taking the crystal out of it just to give to Ezra again when they meet again.
I’ve always have said Ezra was the best Jedi his story was cut short but now that he’s back he’s had 10 years to elevate his abilities with the force. I can see him training Jason without putting him in danger and of course with Hera’s consent.
I think there were some extra crystals on the ship. After all it was said that Huyang kept that ship hidden and safe. He would have seen what the Empire was doing and confiscated some kyber for the future.
Presumably, he recovered it from his first broken lightsaber after Vader destroyed it. He only used green for his second saber instead because he found it in that cross-guard lightsaber on Malachor. I assume at least.
@@13superjedi if he had it with him the whole time why didn’t he just use it in his second saber? Also, he would have just kept it in his pocket all the time and took it with him to another galaxy?
Huyang did bring basically a lightsaber parts bin and workshop with him. I suspect supplies in that regard are one thing that's not a problem for them. :)
he did imbue on his first crystal by passing the challenge in the temple. that was so painfully obvious. I don't get how anyone could miss something so obvious. I keep seeing people talk about how he never got a crystal that was his color, and thats just being stupid. It's implied so heavily that the crystal was blue for him, not just for no reason. It literally manifested magically through the force, thats more imbued than any other jedi ever gets from just imbuing on a clear crystal. The force gave him that one specifically and thats way more special than a dumb clear crystal.
Not a fan of Disney Star Wars but per their new canon it would make sense for his new lightsaber to become blue as he built it specifically to go into a physical battle.
in my headcanon, Ezra crystal comes from Ahsoka's cw s7 blue lightsaber. She is seen as keeping one. She refrained from using it because it was a reminder of Anakin, her identity and her past. Plus, she probably hid it somewhere only she would know
Your head Canon only shows a lack of observation. Vader took her saber with the blue crystal when he went to wreckage (literally the last scene of TCW) and she lost the shoto in her battle with the clones.
i always presume that kyber-cristals colour is given by the type of jedi afinity with the force ,so if a jedi guardian knight take the kyber cristal from a green saber and craft a new lightsaber , the new one will be a blue lightsaber ,acording with hes own connection with the force
I didn't hate Ezra in Ahsoka, but Ezra at the end of Rebels was very impressive in terms of strength, courage, and experience. It just didn't seem like a logical continuation of character.
I think the channel might be wrong about something here. Ezra isn't a guardian or a consular. He has chosen a new path completely, and it seems to me this new path leaves Ezra as a new kind of force user. He pulls from both the guardian and consular paths, and is able to go without a light saber without being helpless. His movements, his confidence, his adaptability, and battle intellect are all sharp as a razor by the time we see him in Ahsoka. He is not weak or helpless without a lightsaber, because he understands that the lightsaber is but one tool, one option amongst many that one can use to fight. The item you hold is not a weapon, the person wielding it is. To a point you could say that ezra has learned one point from sith combat doctrine. And that is, that lightsabers are a secondary weapon, the force is their primary. So too has ezra learned not to over rely on a piece of crystal in a tube. But on himself, and the force as his ally. Ezra was putting on display just how powerful an individual can be with the force alone. I don't think Ezra is making a mistake here, he's making a point to the old jedi order. They were wrong to rely so heavily on their lightsabers for combat. Their doctrine stagnated for a long time, and became a point that consulars would bud into on philosophical premises, where perhaps they had no business to. Lightsaber forms were all supposed to have purpose and utility. Then, over time, the order bickered and banned/restricted forms out of fear. And that was the beginning of the end. And Ezra was the one to learn as he rose from the ashes of the order. But that's just one nerd's opinion... love the videos guys, keep it up!
I think they switched it to blue because Luke is famous for wielding a green lightsaber and Disney didn't want to confuse the fans since both would be out there fighting. If you recall the jedi who rescued Din and Grogu no one was completely sure it was Luke until we actually saw the color of his lightsaber. When it was revealed to be green fans were so excited and happy to see Luke again.
What if Cal Kestis and his Padawan Kata Akuna found Ezra, Ahsoka and Sabine in the future. Both Cal and Ahsoka can use Psychometry and he could feel the history of the green crystal. As he peers through the Force, Cal begins to hear Cere's voice speaking to a black market merchant discussing the price of her crystal. Bridging all the characters together. Also, could you please do a holocron detailing the aftermath of Jedi Survivor? What lightsaber colour fits Cal best and a breakdown of the lightsaber forms he uses.
Cal's lightsaber crystal colour is blue canonically. That's the crystal he got when he went to illum even his lightsaber as a padawan before order 66 was blue. That's how he's always presented in galaxy of heroes and merch with a blue lightsaber. Your customizations in the game mean nothing.

@@KforFreedom I think pink would get confused with the red. But I would love if she got the crystal from Morrak and tried to purify it like Ashoka did but wasn't powerful enough so it stayed half white and half red, thus making pink. I just don't see that happening
Being that she has many talents and the force is less of her personality she may be more akin to a sentinel and wielding a yellow blade
Perhaps it is because she has spent much time contemplating what it means to be Mandalorian and Jedi, and questioning why she is on that path.
Ezra with a yellow lightsaber; think about it
I was thinking about kyber crystal bleeding and wondering if the step towards bleeding a crystal is in fact the act of intentionally spilling innocent blood!
Nah. To my knowledge, it's using the force to imbue it with incredible anger, hate and rage and going through all those emotions. I'm pretty sure one of the comics goes in depth about it.
I thought Ezra took the green crystal from that cross guard saber he found on Malachor
It would make sense, because he was blaming himself for both Kanan and Ahsoka and maybe he went there hoping to find her... Or her remainings.
He could also find lightsaber details there
I just don't think that Ghost team could afford the crystal
Just imagine the short episode between 2 and 3 season which starts with Ezra having doubts on whether he should use the holocron or not and it tells him that if isn't sure, he should face what his weakness already brought to. So he arrives at Malachor, wonders around the exploded temple thinking about the events that happened here. Imagining how Kanan got blinded by Maul, then going to the heart of the temple, where Ahsoka fought Vader. Him wondering if Ahsoka was killed by Vader or in explosion
All of this brings even more hatred towards himself and he starts to meditate and opens the holocron with goal of using it. There he cuts his hair and creates a new lightsaber using details from dead jedi and inquisitors' sabers. He arrives on malachor as a naive sorrowed boy, but leaves as an serious man excpeted the goal of doing anything to protect and avenge for his friend.
I think he got it from the Mortis god monastery that Balan was looking at
I don’t believe blue= Guardian and Green= consular is canon anymore.
Excellent breakdown💯
And YES!: the Jedi Ronin explaination would be much appreciated 👍🏾
May the Force be with you too😊
8:00 Dude, come on, of course we like this kind of videos, very extensive explanations and theories, please keep them coming. Thank you.
Yes, do a Space Jesus Wizard: Ronin edition
Yes, I would like to hear more about the Jedi class of "Ronin".
I just figured Ezra got his green crystal from that green crossgard lightsaber from that sith temple where he met maul
He didnt you seen the lightsaber stop working
@@cormac7884that doesn’t mean the crystal was no good. lightsabers still need a power source
I would love a Jedi Ronin video.
Yes, please do a Jedi Ronin episode
Yes, please cover Ashoka as the first Ronin please!!! I’m really intrigued!
Blue = Guardian
Green = Consular
Purple = Bad motherfucker?
Everything seems to be WAY more important than everyones realizes.
I'd actually really like to hear about the Jedi ronins
I can’t see Sabine having the spirit of a Jedi consular.
Of COURSE we like these vids!! Keep ‘em coming!!
The Ronan or Ronon video on Ahsoka would be amazeballs❤
People are over-thinking this blue lightsaber choice. Ezra made his new blade from spare parts on the ship; it isn't like they made a detour to Ilum for new crystal. It was simply the one the droid picked up.
the counselor vs. Guardian Jedi, a things specifically created for tabletop RPGs and only tabletop.
I'd love to see sabine go Through the proper path to get her crystal and make a saber. And i think a purple one would suit her well
Agreed
I would love a video about Sabine bonding with a ly we crystal and explain why the green is loyal to her if she to embody a consular
Yes please do a video on Ashoka as a Sentinel. Sentinels aren't talked about enough.
Holy...this is WAY more important than i realized. Im going to call my Mom right now and tell her this.
1:52 obi wan lookin like marvels iron fist in disguise 😂
It has to be his same Crystal from his previous blaster lightsaber and in my canon My Personal Jedi Master Is Literally the symbol of what it means to be a Jedi Sentinel and he wields a yellow double-bladed lightsaber
I see how it makes sense for Ezra but I hate how they force every main character at this point into having a blue lightsaber.
Ahsoka, Ezra, Luke in TLJ, Rey for the most part, Ben Solo at the end of ROS, kinda wish we got more green.
More videos like this please. Would love a video on the ronin Jedi
Very interested in this topic and your continuing it.
He had a blue saber originally. All that's happening here is he went back to the color....
Great video. Would love to see more about the Ronin class and Ahsoka!
Great video! I'd love to see one on Ahsoka too!
Yes, make that video on the new Jedi class
Excellent video. Digging into SW lore is always a welcomed endeavor.
Definitely need a video about the ronin
I just assume Huyang has a bunch of spare crystals lying around
Cool
I always thought the blue crystal was from Ezra’s old blaster lightsaber that he lost on Malachor. I can see Ashoka finding the broken lightsaber and taking the crystal out of it just to give to Ezra again when they meet again.
Took a break from Star Wars for a while... THIS is why I watch Star Wars content on UA-cam though.
A different coloured lightsaber is important enough for you to watch this series.
I’ve always have said Ezra was the best Jedi his story was cut short but now that he’s back he’s had 10 years to elevate his abilities with the force. I can see him training Jason without putting him in danger and of course with Hera’s consent.
Very interested in hearing more about this ronin class
I think there were some extra crystals on the ship. After all it was said that Huyang kept that ship hidden and safe. He would have seen what the Empire was doing and confiscated some kyber for the future.
The more important question. Where did Ezra get the crystal for his new blue saber?
Presumably, he recovered it from his first broken lightsaber after Vader destroyed it. He only used green for his second saber instead because he found it in that cross-guard lightsaber on Malachor. I assume at least.
@@13superjedi if he had it with him the whole time why didn’t he just use it in his second saber? Also, he would have just kept it in his pocket all the time and took it with him to another galaxy?
My guess is from Huyang/Ahsoka. Ahsoka was on Malachor & could have picked some up & it’s reasonable that HuYang would also be a keeper of any spares
I think I better see Ezra and Luke link up soon. Luke can't sit this conflict out.
Definitely would like a video on the Jedi Ronin
I really hope they meet
Ooooo love to see a video about jedi ronin
in my headcanon, Ezra crystal comes from Ahsoka's cw s7 blue lightsaber.
Very good video !
Great Video!🤟😎
I think his green crystal were crystal came from the cross guard lightsaber he found in the season finale of series to
i always presume that kyber-cristals colour is given by the type of jedi afinity with the force ,so if a jedi guardian knight take the kyber cristal from a green saber and craft a new lightsaber , the new one will be a blue lightsaber ,acording with hes own connection with the force
I’d like to think there’s some deeper meaning to the blue lightsaber, but I feel like this was done because of the existing green lightsaber
It makes me sad how in the Sequels they made Luke give up on fighting entirely and let the first order take over 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
I think they switched it to blue because Luke is famous for wielding a green lightsaber and Disney didn't want to confuse the fans since both would be out there fighting. If you recall the jedi who rescued Din and Grogu no one was completely sure it was Luke until we actually saw the color of his lightsaber. When it was revealed to be green fans were so excited and happy to see Luke again.
Definitely interested in a ronin video!
Cal Kestis is a Jedi guardian, dude is allways in the frontlline woopin butt
yes i want the ahsoka video
I think it would have been better for him to have a green lightsaber because during his many years in the far away galaxy he would have had to learn to fight from afar, to be more in tune with the force. I think it would have been much better for the lore if he had a green lightsaber because while his path used to be more leaning towards a warrior, his time away from the battlefield should have made him more of a sage. I really wish that the show would have made Ezra a lot more powerful in the force. It was really dumb that he says “the force is my ally” pushes one dude and then picks up a blaster and starts shooting it. I think it would have been much better to find him secluded, meditating, and when they attacked he would have easily taken them out using only the force. While he was not powerful enough to defeat all of thrawns people by himself, he could easily take out like 20 of them.
how cere lighsaber in jedi surviveors
Yes ! Jedi Ronin video 💗
