Ozzy Osbourne even though he's viewed as a rock god, he is highly musically underrated. My bro had soul, crazy as h*ll, always seeking attention, but definitely talented musically, singing, and do you hear how he's playing that blues harp(harmonica).
I got to see Ozzy with Zakk Wylde live a few years ago. He sang Bark at the Moon just as the total solar eclipse started. It still gives me chills thinking about it.
According to Legend..... The Wizard is a song about a guy who deals/sales LSD.....More so, A Hippie, much like a Wizard, roaming the Earth, just walking by spreading his acid....I mean "magic"... "Never talking....Just keeps walking.....spreading his Magic"...…. "Everyone's happy when The Wizard walks by....."
I heard this song for the first time well over 30 years ago and I’ve probably listened to it a billion times. I’m very jealous of you, getting to have the experience of hearing it for the first time.
Maybe a good thing you don’t get high, we would be peeling you off the ceiling. You better tear my left ear up! That’s a t-shirt right there $cribe! You are over flowing with the the badassitude that is Rock and Roll! You are now truly one of us sister. I have rarely seen such exuberant sincerity and it is awesome. I’m sorry to say you have the fever and the only way to treat is repeated doses at high volume. I know, I’m a doctor of ROCK! peace, Phil
Back in the 70s I think,I caught this on an AM/FM radio and it changed my vision if you will... of music in general...I'm 54 now and l still find myself singing it....thank you for playing it for me again...love ya Lewis
Glad to see you are having a good time. You asked about other BS songs. Sabbath, bloody sabbath, A national acrobat, under the sun, supernaut, spiral architect. Enjoy your reactions, you really do listen. Thank you.
Very much so yes. I seem to hear some jazzy influenced "chops" with Bill wards drum style though as well. He's a very underrated drummer that should get more attention just my $0.02. If anything he's most definitely influenced me to pick up my sticks after a 30 year break n start crushing an old set of Ludwigs I found for cheap.
Hey that brings joy to me concerning the younger generation. "The Wizard" is one of my favorite jamms. Released in 1970 from their very first album. In the year 2020 its still alive. They say That history repeats itself and it does. Got a lot of Sabbath still running through my head and as a musician. They got some more nice tunes on that album. The second album, "Paranoid" is a great one too. Released in 1970 as well. Well you already reacted to "War Pigs" which is on that "Paranoid" album, which is one of my favorite albums from Sabbath. Check them all out!☺✌
I've already seen this video but I keep coming back this young lady's enjoyment of this song just fills my soul it's how I FEEL about this song I LOVE IT !.....God Bless this young lady she KNOWS REAL MUSIC !!!
... back in the late 60's in England there was a producer named Roger Bain who happened to catch Black Sabbath live, he was so overwhelmed by what he heard he was extremely motivated to get these guys into the studio in hopes of capturing the stunning sonic experience. Finally in the fall of 69' band manager Jim Simpson was able to schedule a quick 2 day stop to get the band into Bains studio -to the band members this was just another couple of gigs, after all they were pretty busy with local gigs not to mention upcoming gigs across the water in nearby Germany, anyway when they finally got to the studio Bain was ready for them and made damn sure everything was recorded in the highest possible fidelity...forward to 50 years later and this young lady's reaction showcases the success of Roger Bains efforts in recording one of the most amazing Jazz/funk/rock bands of all time
I love the fact that a 25 year old can still get a thrill out of the music I rocked to when I was a teenager. I'm 60 now, but have hair down past my shoulders and play heavy metal guitar. L.O.L. I really enjoy watching these reaction videos. William C. central Indiana.
Black Sabbath is better then there image. They where trying to be the opposite of Led Zepplin, and they started dealing with human issues in a big way. Love it.
I just came to you cuz I wanted to hear this song this morning and I realized how much better it is listening with you Scribe. You have lifted my spirits. Thank you.
You would be so much fun to have been with at concerts in the 70's and early 80's. You must be reincarnated hippy chick! Love your passion for music and your reactions! Oh, and your pretty hot too!
Two of the Guitarist, Tommy Iommi finger tips were cut off in a JOB RELATED ACCIDENT!! He took a plastic bottle cap and melted to extend his fingers to keep playing! That is how he made such a unique sound! (From my understanding. Please give a shout out if i am right or wrong.)
I begging you. ma'am ... please react to Iron Maiden "Hallowed Be Thy Name" (Live 1982) .... your mind will be blown... Bruce Dickenson, the singer, is beyond world class. Pretty please?
Saw them in concert at the Meadow Lands arena for " Somewhere In Time Tour" wow they blew my mind Dickerson space fighting with there mascot Eddie. Crazy ......... I can still see it. Big part of my youth. They even wen't crazy in the parking lot , the fans, and turned over cars, and blew them up. I watched it with good friends smoking a big spliff, thinking this is the effect of over the top heavy metal at it's finest. Iron Maiden Rules
It was so nice to see someone love that song as much as I have since it came out. I REALLY enjoyed your reaction. And you're right, early Black Sabbath was a heavy mix of blues and jazz. Most people miss that.
The Wizard is about their drug dealer .. other songs to jam too . 1, Children of the Grave 2, Fairy's Wear Boots. 3, Black Sabbath . 4, Changes . 5, N.I.B. 6, Sweet Leaf .
When you listen to this song you need to play Black Sabbath/ The Wizard as a one-two punch because of the way they blend into each other. And then do Sleeping Village and Bit of Finger at the end of the same album
Hey cash! If you like this, you gotta do IRON MAN, INTO THE VOID, SNOWBLIND, AFTER FOREVER and SUPERNAUT next. You will lose your mind guaranteed!! 🔥🔥🔥
This chick is alright !....I LOVE it seeing younger people looking deeper for music than their own time frame !......Girl you can ROCK OUT with me ANYTIME !
You are a delight to watch young lady....As an older man and a HUGE Sabbath fan it gives me joy to see you getting into this !!! Not bad for some English white dudes !
I really loved this review! Normally I dislike when a reviewer will pause and start pause and start. But you do it right. You always start back just a few seconds back so we can continue without missing any of the Funky Sabbath!!..or whichever son it is..Hope to see more Sabbath too!! Thanks
I hear by nominate you for all time top ten you tube rock reactions . I should do a video of me reacting to you reacting to this. I really liked you before but now I love you. In a good way, like a cool ass friend. Again I can just picture you at show losing your mind. It’s fun. Peace, Phil
this song came out exactly 50 years ago, let that sink in for a minute
And it still brings the stank face...
The harmonica goes fkn hard af 💯🔥🤘
Hard to believe it's been 50 years.
DAMN I'M OLD. :P
And whole album was recorded in 1 day.
Bill Ward baby!!
Nothing makes me happier than a young person enjoying the music from my childhood.
It’s one of my favorite Sabbath songs. I’m glad you liked it!
Darn bro you brought it before I even got my shoes tied ! ......My EXACT thoughts !
Black Sabbath - Into the void
I high school I had a bong called the wizard, he was always spreading his magic
Black Sabbath - Supernaut = more funky sabbath
Ministry's cover of Supernaut is pretty bad ass!
This is the correct enthusiasm for this song.
InstaBlaster
Right on!
🤘Ozzy🤘Iommi🤘Ward🤘Butler🤘
The Godfathers of Metal!!
My fingers are pretty jacked these days, I can relate to Toni, he did work with chopped fingers
Did anyone mention Iommi's prosthetic finger tips?
No doubt
The Fathers. The Fathers THE FATHERS!!!!
That ain't no lie
You got to do Fairies Wear Boots by Sabbath.

Killing Yourself to Live - Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath is Dope.

@@davidpickering4100 That sounds magical
I saw Ozzy in '81, Mötorhead opened, July 17...Blizzard of Ozz Tour. Smokin' band; The Ozzman, Randy Rhoads, Rudy Sarzo, Tommy Aldridge, Don Airey.
They started as a blues band named “earth”.
This is pre-funk, pre-metal...this is blues
Sweet leaf , Hand of Doom
You want to groove and rock out then you need Rat Salad. It's only 2 plus minutes of pure Eargasm
Hand of Doom 💯🔥
Love that harmonic in the beginning. Gives you a feel of being in a Clint Eastwood western.
Cool someone mentioned that. I always think of the movie "Once Upon A Time In The West". Charles Bronson with the haunting harmonica. lol
That harmonica goes fkn hard af 💯🔥🤘🍻💨
@@edwardomunoz9299 ozzy that crazy should have recorded more with harmonica

And that legend said he was Sabbath's dealer
In addition, the song was also inspired by Gandalf.😁
I heard this song for the first time well over 30 years ago and I’ve probably listened to it a billion times. I’m very jealous of you, getting to have the experience of hearing it for the first time.
Darn GOOD POINT !....I never thought of that...I'm jealous now too !
Glad to see the 409 again love your everything 🥑🏝💕
I bought this album not long after it came out and been listening to it ever since but your reaction to hearing this was priceless !
Ozzy pulled out the harmonica and proved that he had some blues in his soul. And some soul in his blues!
Please do Snowblind. In my top 3 favorite Sabbath Songs. Along with Into The Void and After Forever. Let's not forget about Planer Caravan too
Snowblind 💯🔥
Snow blind by Styx ain't bad either.
And Faries Wear Boots

One of my Favs!!!
I’m glad you like too!!
You should just listen to the whole album. Some say it's the beginning of metal.
I was slow to appreciate Sabbath....but The Wizard sold me on them immediately......love love love this
This young lady needs to be worldwide !!!....Her energy is INFECTIOUS !!!

Yes...the replay factor for the rest of your life!!!..fantastic reaction!!
They are so amazing, with so much diversity in their music.
This track just crackles with energy, like many other early Sabbath tracks. Amazing, isn’t it?
You can see how heavily blues based Sabbath is.
