For almost $300.00 this is probably the best kit but I saw one for $150 that got 4 1/2 star rating with 36 reviews. Sure it didn't have battery w/ electric start (pedal start) but motor is same size and that statistic shows a lot of happy customers.

Human skin isn't conductive enough for that to happen. Sure, if you wired a few amps to your heart you'd be slightly dead, but 12v isn't enough to penetrate the skin and transfer those amps to your heart. I've installed deep-cycle 24v batteries on boats before, and even with hands wet with saltwater I didn't feel a thing. I'm not trying to be condescending, that's just my personal experience

l o Unfortunately not everyone has rich parents to give them money to buy 1000 of something from China to start a business... The fact others do doesn't mean they should be selling something they don't know enough about. Farmers farm because they know and understand how to grow shit. Mercedes makes and sells cars because they understand how they work and don't sell you a car that pressing the horn unlocks the trunk while the button on the trunk beeps the horn. Bottom line is if you're going to sell something you should know your product better than absolutely anyone else. Plain and simple. Especially if you're going to make videos demonstrating how to use said product. That's just my two cents.

    • @Disappointed739
      @Disappointed739 6 років тому +4

Relax! We all do things about 95% right, and screw up on the 5%. It's just a fact of life. We then spend time trying to eliminate the mistakes and weaknesses we have. These guys making these videos get it mostly right, which is pretty good, I think. To me a screw-up is someone who doesn't care to try to get to 95%, and loafs along at 70%, pretending they have nowhere to improve. But a 95%er (and anyone trying to get there) is pretty competent. Respectfully, I really think you are looking at their 5%.

We're very much aware 12 volts can not cause serious harm, but it is still not a pleasant feeling we would consciously want to experience. We are also aware of what the intended switches are for, but due to being a third party accessory, the control's wiring does not perfectly match with our other components. It can be an isolated incident with that specific control, or a common a incident for our combination of parts. Out of the box, plug and play, that was how everything worked.

Why don't you flip the brake dust cap upside down on top of the new sprocket to help hold it in place and keep the new sprocket centered at the same time. Seems like common sense plus it would help free up your hands to ease in the bolt installation. You know you can use a piece of heavy gauge solid core house wire wrapped around the rear frame tube to use as a truing pointer for the rear sprocket at the same location as the screwdriver; again; freeing up your hands. BTW, to anyone who is intending to do this installation...Buy a small sheet of rubber for vibration insulation and prevention of vibrating loose any of the fasteners.

    1) Needle nose pliers are not for holding nuts for tightening.
    2) Those gloves will not protect you from electrical contact. This requires proper voltage insulating gloves.
    3) Running the ground wire, as you have shown in the video, leaves it prone to chaffing on the positive terminal nut.
This can cause the ground wire to short to the positive terminal. The ground wire should be run out of the right side of the cover, and over the top.
    4) Since the bike could be exposed to moisture, use dielectric grease on all electrical connections.
    5) For the love of god, you DO NOT tighten a spark plug down "as tight as you can". You can find torque specs online for any spark plug, but in general, tighten only until the washer seats, then an
    additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn.
    6) Adjustable wrenches is not the proper tool for tightening exhaust nuts. Adjustable are for idiots to hammer nails with.
Use a socket & torque wrench to tighten the nuts evenly, and to the correct torque.
    7) Adjustable pliers are not for tightening nuts. Adjustable pliers are for pulling nails out of boards, that were hammered into the board by an idiot with an adjustable wrench.
    Use a ratchet & socket.
    8) Dammit man, use a socket on the oil drain plug.
    9) Did you seriously use a cut off soda bottle for a funnel???
    10) Why are the handle bars oriented correctly while the bike is in the shop, but in the outdoor scene, they are installed upside down????????
    11) The big red KILL SWITCH does not work because you connected the wires for it to the light switch.
If you are going to post a "how to" video, start with the proper tools for the job. And don't post information that is incorrect. and unsafe.
Sorry, but I've got to give this one a thumbs down.

    1. Is the oil poured in the engine side mix with gas?
