I've used the Key 2 Success planning system for a few years. I honestly have enjoyed using the success planning system. 2024 is going to be a big year for me. I also use the Franklin Covey paper system. I have been a 20-year user of Franklin Covey products. I am pushing forward with digital planning as I will not need paper calendaring after July. I will go full-on with digital planning. I would tell anyone that planning digitally is the future. As our devices become more advance, it's up to us, the professionals, to take full advantage of tools that can make our work more fulfilling. Thanks for adding the 24-hour tile, as I know I bothered you to life about it. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤
My hack I'm using a Samsung Fold 4. I take the success planner and the phones calender created an app pair so I can enter the information one one screen without switching back and forth.
This is incredible ! Been using OneNote for many years but with one arm tied behind my back trying to create the sorriest makeshift templates (basically a few horizontal lines lol). Very excited ordering today
Great to hear. There is so many opportunities with daily planning when it comes to onenote.
I also thought about that phone ring 😂😂
The year overview hyperlinks in 2024 solves one of my productivity challenges. I find it difficult to navigate to the quarter tab to get to the month I want just to make a quick notation. The @ hyperlink and the year overview makes most things a couple of taps away and lets me work at full speed. Thank you for this addition.
Yes it’s a huge improvement. One that put us back about a whole month in development this year. And it was over two years in the making. It’s not 100% but a huge step. We already have a plan for 2025 that should take it one step higher. But for 2024 the fact you can get to any daily page in two taps is very awesome. Great if you are in full screen mode
I just noticed something as I wrap up 2023 and make the 2024 my daily focus (by the way I already purchased 2025, it's that good). In the 2023 planner, each month had a month planning page just after the Month view. In the 2024 planner, that page is not there each month, but the hyperlink remins on each daily page. It is just a dead link. Wss this change intentional? is my version just out of date (I downloaded 2024 right after it was first published). Iam using Professional. Thank you and Happy New Year!!.
Can this coordinate with Outlook so that I don’t have to enter everything manually? I don’t have time to enter an appt on the monthly, the. Weekly, and then daily.
This is intriguing, Branden. Quick question - do y'all have any plans of adding a habit tracker in the personal edition? I ask because I'm a retired teacher, so no need for a professional planner, but I do like to keep track of habits (Bible reading, gym, etc.). Just thought I'd ask. :)
Thanks!
I don't have plans to add it to the personal edition, but I understand your case. Send me an email support@brandenbodendorfer.com and I will get you a promotional discount on the professional planner that aligns with the cost of the personal and tile.
@@bodendorfer Thank you, Branden. I sent the email.
Hey Brandon, just signed up for K2S 2023 and put in for 2024. In watching a lot of your videos you swap between the iPad and Surface. Both offer different UI experiences with iPad missing a lot of UI features available in Windows/Surface. That's always been annoying to me since I'm all in with Apple; MacStudio, iPad Pro and Mini, and MacBook Air.
I like the Surface device and not opposed to using one with K2S given the advanced UI ability. My question is, what is you daily "go to" device?
Also, I love the hyperlink functionality. I am assuming that hyperlinking is not limited to just K2S documents but also available to link other types of document such as docs, spreadsheets, keynotes/PPTs? Am I wrong thinking you can link other relevant information? Hyperlinking other documents for quick access would definitely be a killer functionality.
So yes the UI is slightly different, some of the advance features do have their benefits. I did a video on top 12 tips for using onenote, which showcases a number of those features. The biggest one for me is the side by side. To answer you question, the iPad is my daily driver. I like this because I am deep in the apple eco system. However, I use the surface when I am doing my monthly and quarterly planning as I like using the tools then. As for your question about hyperlinks you can link to various forms of media in onenote. however some of that is going to limited on the iPad, but you should be able to do it from your desktop. My question to you is do you really find yourself using the Mac Studio as your daily driver vs just a laptop. I have a 16 MacBook and a 13" MacBook Air. From time to time I take the MacBook mobile but more and more I am thinking that the extra power in the studio would be the way to go.
@@bodencompanyprojects3635 The MacStudio is my daily driver. With 32GB of RAM it's a beast. My setup is 2-43" 4K monitors. Mac's virtual desktop function is much better than Windows. In Windows when you swipe to another virtual desktop ALL desktops move. Apple's doesn't. I messes up my workflow. With the screen size I have the equivalent of 4-15" windows open per monitor and with virtual desktops I have had as many as 30 windows open and the MacStudio handles it with ease.
And, don't forget, Apple can run Windows and I have Windows 11 running in parallel to Mac OS which you do run on ANY Mac. I have it on my MacBook Air.
I really like the Surface Pro 9 and the added features available in Windows vs iPad. With the day view "days hyperlinks" in iPad they don't work. I'm sure it is an iPad thing. I just have to figure it all out. I am deeply immersed in viewing your video's. Obviously there is wealth of information to take advantage of.
SO IMPRESSED as a small business owner who still uses Franklin Covey paper planners; this is what me and my team need. The problem is I am horrible with tech and never used Onenote or good notes or anything; I got an Ipad I check my emails on, but it is the limit of my tech skills, lol.
I am happy to jump on a zoom call and talk to you about the system. We have a lot of training videos and we also offer one on one training. Send me an email contact@brandenbodendorfer.com

This system is great. I am a Franklin covey user. I found this system easy to on board. I keep the one-note planner on my desktop for quick reach. This system demands accountability at first once you continue using it. The use of the system becomes easier.
Letsss gooo
Love the excitement
This is great for people who want digital organization, but they don't have the time to make their own planners.
But for me, I am going to pass.
I have the time, and I am going to spend it on making my own custom planner that is catered to me. I have very specific needs. So yeah...
What platform do you create your own planner? Onenote too?
HI, I am a Fan and registered user of your agendas, but on 2024 I have problems to enter text in a device without a pen when trying to type on the schedule part of the daily view: It always selects the image below instead of allowing me to enter text. This didn't happened on the 2023 version of the agenda. Thanks in advance to make available a version without the tiles option enabled.
Please send an email to support@brandenbodendorfer.com and we will help you through the process.
The daily tiles look really useful - The only downside is it would be quite time consuming to have to replace the schedule tile every single day - Can you provide some sort of tool to generate the entire planner with a specific daily layout to avoid having to do that every day?
Agreed,
We will have some videos on Daily Tiles when we complete the set. The process is going to be fairly simple and straightforward. In most cases it will probably take about 5-10 minutes to process of the entire month. So to personalize the whole year will only be a couple of hours at most. We are going to suggest you do it quarter by quarter.
@@bodendorfer Thats awesome !.. Thanks Branden!
Hi Brendan when do you plan to release the 2024 planner quite excited for the release
Summer of 2023
This looks fantastic, but is it really $230 for a digital planner? That would make sense if it renewed yearly but looks like each year you pay a fee, am I missing something? I am not dogging, it looks great just may not be the best fit for me if this is the case please let me know thank you
Great question. The $230 edition includes our planner, all of our journals, all of our tiles, a 30-minute coaching session, and year-round support. The personal edition of our planner is $29.
When it comes to customizing your daily planner using tiles, would you have to do that for every single day? What would be the easiest way to just replicated your cusotmized day planner to reflect throughout each and every month of the year? I can see by customizing your daily layout for everyday not being sustainable.
You do have to customize them each day, and with 2025, it is as simple as setting up the planner page template, copying and pasting. You can customize your planner within a matter of an hour. Which makes the system very convenient. Here is a link to the updates in 2025: ua-cam.com/video/1DtPtXoJGxQ/v-deo.html
@@bodendorfer I noticed in your video this is for one note however would this also be the same case for goodnotes or if you were using an e-ink tablet for example?
@@Dave.S. Yes we do have a planner for GoodNotes adn we also have tiles: Here is the GoodNotes Planner Shop: bit.ly/3qcxjSu

Is it good for meetings notes by employee planner? I don’t need everything else you present so it is too costly for me to buy let’s say professional planner which appears to be the one that has meeting notes. So a hard pass unfortunately. Too much for too much cost wise when you don’t need the other multiple tiles. Too complex when you just need something simple. Your product is not geared towards individuals who work for a company which won’t pay for managers to have templates and managers are to buy their own meetings notes templates for each employee and dated for easy search.
Kath, Great thoughts. We do have a s solution for that. We offer Meeting tiles which are templates designed just for meetings that are under $10 USD. You could pair that with a personal planner or us it independently. Here is the link: brandenbodendorfer.com/product/tile-meeting-pages/
where do we buy this planner?

Hi Brandon please create a tile for cal Newport time blocking
How would you suggest this. From what I know about Cal Newport Time blocking, I believe you can do that with the current scheduling layout.
The standard one-page template has the daily key and Daily to-do on the left and the schedule on the right. The schedule
piece does not have enough space on the right to allow flexibility to changes in the schedule, as per cal newport time blocking scheme.
This would require a one-page schedule while maintaining the planning board and the calendar at the top.@@bodendorfer

The surface is a great tool. Specially with OneNote you get the benefits of a tablet like device with the power of the desktop app. Make sure you look at the Project Tile.
