Thanks for the video; I put all this info in a OneNote section in my PARA setup haha. To make life easier for folks too: Amy's Hotkeys: [CTRL + N] New Page [CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + N] Subpage for page currently working in [CTRL + T] New Section [SHIFT + F7] Thesaurus suggestions for highlighted word [TAB / Enter] Create a table in a new text boxt on your note
Thank you, I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed it! I have not been able to find a page limit. I did a bit more research and some people use this feature with 500 pages, others have had OneNote crash when trying to do this with 250. So CPU plays a factor when trying to print the file. The other thing to keep in mind is that these pages are stored as images so if you insert larger files, then this will create a larger OneNote file and may cause it to run slower. This may not be the answer that you are looking for, but I hope it helps provide a little more insight :)
Good stuff! Thank you for this video. I believe that the most important feature OneNote has is the ability to password pages and tabs. Running the search command (top right) will NOT look in the passworded pages, or tabs, leaving the user safer.
Are they going to get rid of one note now that loop came out? I am starting a new note collection and I love onenote, but dont want to start using it if they are going to get rid of it.
Thank you for your comment. It is tough to say, some people are saying yes and some people are saying never. IMO there are still a ton of features that are exclusive to OneNote so I would say that MS would have to make a lot of changes for Loop to fully take over. I certainly enjoy using Loop and love the way that it looks and feels, it is much more modern. But OneNote does still have a place and purpose. We will see what the future holds!
Hi there, thank you for the comment. I would recommend changing the alignment. By default it is left but if you change it, then it does create space between the two items. IMO it create a really big space, but this is the best option that I have found. I hope that this helps!
Sometimes when I printto OneNote, it prints the document on one page. Other times, if prints each page of the document as a new page within my tab. I want it to always print the entire doc on one page of my OneNote. How do I tell it to do this his?
Hi, thank you for the question :) From OneNote Desktop > File > Options > Advanced > near the bottom under Printouts, there is a box for 'insert long printouts on multiple pages.' I suspect that this might be turned on for you. Uncheck this to disable it. Hope that this helps!

Oh fun! I'm glad to hear that my video helped 😀 thanks for summarizing my hotkeys too!
Enjoyed the onenote tips and video! Big fan of onenote and always looking for ways to use it in a better way - your tips were very helpful!

Thank you so much! Happy that it helped 😄
Thank you so much 🎉
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you for an informative video on OneNote. In using tip#3, is there a page limit that you can import to OneNote?

Can you please tell me how to create space between a tag and the text next to it?

What version is this? Web only? OneNote on my iPad does not do some of these things
Hello :) This is on the desktop app version of Microsoft 365, it was done on a PC so likely some differences on an Apple device.
11. 687+22= SPACE
Yes, thank you for sharing, the text to match feature is also great!
