My mom died from pancreatic cancer, she was only 78. She had me young and I was happy she could be with me on my 60th birthday. (She passed three months later)
So touched, my grandma was born in 1923 and she was also the church devil egg lady for YEARS! She also used the sandwich spread but she had two other secret ingredients. One was her own pickle juice that she made from watermelon rids (which I miss dearly), but the second and MOST important ingredient was just a splash of red wine vinegar. The little bit of red wine vinegar makes all the difference I promise❤
I've definitely heard of the Kraft sandwich spread, but never used it in my deviled eggs! My only ingredients for the filling was the yolk, salt, pepper, mustard, and mayonnaise! Mixed as you do yours and placed in the cavity of the egg white! Simple, but everybody has always loved them that way! I must say, though, I'm curious to try your recipe, and when I do, I'll let you know how everyone likes them compared to my recipe! Thank you and I shared again!
Watched this video again and I always tear up when you speak of your mom and how you miss her. It’s always so tender and if one has lost their mom, who doesn’t especially miss them during holidays or when making something their mom or dad always made. These eggs take on a whole new fabulous taste when you make them like this, and the paper towel tip makes all the difference too! All in all, this simple video is one of your best! When Melissa says to eat one on camera for your momma, I lose it. You are right when you say food and cooking conjure s up memories. It creates new memories too. Miss my mom and dad and their cooking and our get togethers around the table. Love you guys and your channel, and I am sure your momma is always watching! ❤
Thank you for your deviled egg recipe. I usually make deviled eggs using mayo, mustard and sweet pickle relish, but after watching your video I decided to make them your way with the Kraft Sandwich Spread. They were absolutely delicious, the best I've ever eaten. I"ll never go back to my old way of making them again. Thanks again for your recipe.
Never heard of Kraft Sandwich spread before. Going to purchase some to make your mom's deviled eggs. Your love for your mother is heartwarming. Thanks for sharing this recipe with all of us.
Since the early 1980’s I started making Deviled eggs like one of my co-workers in Louisiana. She made them with sandwich spread a small amount of mustard (about a teaspoon per dozen) and bacon. It was such a treat when she brought them to work! I usually add a little more sweet pickle relish to mine. Sandwich Spread has it in there as well.
We love hearing how much you enjoyed these from your co-worker. Can't promise ours are as good as hers but we do think these are great. Thanks so much for watching our channel.
I'm 65 and my mom kept this in the fridge my whole childhood. I would have never given deviled eggs a thought if it hadn't been for this video. My wife had never heard of the sandwich spread and asked if it would work. Well she's going to find out just how right your mom was! Great video. I enjoy them all. Thanks, from an old Lawrenceburg, KY fan and neighbor.
Had to laugh when you said you never measured the salad spread! My Mother made biscuits and pie crusts that way! Mom has been gone 24 years. After all this time, holidays and important dates are still hard. Make Mom and Grandma proud and keep making those deviled/dressed eggs!
My mom and grandmother's were the best cooks. Even my great grandma was a good cook. Now my 37 year old son is teaching his 5 yr.old son. I taught my son at a young age. Miss those ladies so much. God bless you
Funny, the last time I made my deviled eggs, I set them on a paper towel and totally forgot about it until now. But yes, the towel became soaked as I realized just how much water the eggs actually held! Now that you gave that tip, I will always dry my eggs off ahead of time using the paper towel method. Never heard of the sandwich spread, I always used Miracle Whip because I like the tangy sweetness it adds. Next time I will use the sandwich spread and let you know how we like it. Thanks again! Blessings ❤
Oh my gosh, Sandwich spread was a staple at my Aunt Ruth's house, not for her lol but for my Uncle Jr. Aunt Ruth would make ham and cheese hot subsandwiches, she baked them wrapped in foil on 400° for 30-40 minutes. Everyone would get their hot sub sandwich still wrapped in foil put on their plate. All condiments were on the table, pickles, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and the only spread my Uncle would use was the sandwich spread, I tried it and loved it. I will definitely use it for my next deviled eggs!! Thanks for sharing this and bringing great memories of the sandwich spread 😊😊❤
I’ve been making deviled eggs for over 60 years and I still learn something new! I’ve never noticed the Kraft sandwich spread on the grocery shelves. I can’t wait to try it, although I bet I still will add some more pickles to it. I love lots of chopped pickles in the egg mixture. Thanks for an easier way to make deviled eggs!
You were close to your mother, which made you the man you are now. She taught you and you continued teaching the rest of your life. Thanks for the travel back to Kraft Sandwich Spread. We always used it and my mother never measured anything. Have a great holiday and thanks for sharing. Love 💕 and Hugs. ❤❤❤
I remember the sandwich spread..And I am going back to the 1950's... Sandwich spread was always used for sandwiches...I am 73..Was a kid in the 1950's...Good stuff...Love your you tube channel...Recipes look delicious...
I grew up with wonderful deviled eggs. I cannot wait to try yours with that certain sandwich dress. I had a granny. She passed away. She was my granny, but everybody called her granny. Just like what you were saying. I just enjoy your videos so much. You're such a wonderful cooker. You give your instructions and recipes so good. You're easy to follow with instructions and you're recipe. I love how you write your recipe down within the video and underneath it.
I never thought of the sandwich spread. Such an awesome idea. My mother in law, rest her soul, wouldn't call them deviled eggs either. She always said to pass her those godly eggs. She said the devil couldn't have come up with something that tasted that good. LOL But I am going to try your mom's recipe and see if I can pass it by my crowd. Thank you so much for sharing and it shows that you really miss your mom. I am sorry for your loss.
The sandwich spread has 3 carbs per TBS. and sugar/corn syrup in it. Mayo has 0 carbs, and 0 sugar/corn syrup in it; which your body will thank you for! ❤
Bless you, I understand about missing your mom . I miss mine also. Those that still have their mom's give her a call and just tell her you're thinking of her. Love your videos. Thank you 😊
Thank you for that sweet message you've shared with us all. I know how much i love to hear from my kids. Your comment is a reminder to make time and an effort to reach out often!
I can’t wait to make these! I never heard of sandwich spread! I love deviled eggs, so I know I’ll love your version! I teared up at the end, Tom when you spoke of your Mom. My Dad was my best friend. He passed away in 2017 and I miss him terribly. I am loving all your videos. I am so glad that I found you and Melissa on here. God Bless you both 🙏🏼❤️
I love your channel so, so much. The recipes are just delicious looking and the stories of the origin of the recipes and the people who made them first are amazing. Good lovingly made food is the easiest way to have instant fellowship with friends and family, and to greet others for the first time. I gotta admit Tom, that when you said you missed your Mom, it made me cry. I'm just days after hitting 50 and our Lord called my Mom home to Him five years ago. It hasn't gotten any easier, and the look on your face when you talked of her matched the feeling that welled up in my heart. May God always bless you and Jesus always keep you and your loved ones.
Finally someone else who uses kraft sandwich spread in deviled eggs! I'm the only one in my church who does. Grew up eating them this way. Love your videos.
I am blessed to have been blessed to have hens and had them all the time. So delicious. I am 67 years old and deviled eggs and the are my favorite Thank for sharing your video with us God bless from west Texas
I miss my Mom and my oldest sister and most of all I miss my husband. I recently lost him to brain cancer. We were married 39 years and he was my rock. And he loved my deviled eggs. I wish he was still here bc I would make him some deviled eggs using your Mom’s recipe. I bet she was a sweet lady. God bless.
I'm so sorry for you loss. I lost my son, DaKota Lee Smith at the age of 28 to metastatic colon cancer on 5/27/2023 Life without my son is the most painful experience I'll ever have to endure.
@sherrywilliams409 I am so sorry for your loss! I bet your husband would have loved these deviled eggs! God bless you, comfort you and may God supply all your needs!
My mom never measured anything either!! Lol! My mom's been gone 23 years. I miss her so much! Not a day goes by that I don't talk to her! Your mom is so proud of you and Melissa sharing all your family recipes with everyone!! You two absolutely ROCK!! You've given me the courage to finally try making different recipes! I know my mom is thanking your mom!!❤
Was touched at your end comment. I miss my mom. I feel the same way every time I make one of her recipes it reminds me of her and her and the good food she used to make for me and my brothers and sisters and all of our family. Wish I have had more time with her to tell her how much I and her grand kids brothers and sisters still keep her recipes alive
This was a very touching video to me my mom passed this past January from Dementia this will be my first holiday without her, we use to cook together every holiday so this is really hard for me and she use to love to eat and fixed devil eggs so I just felt your pain when you spoke on your mom but I know she is very proud of you with keeping her recipes living on your doing a wonder job love the videos Tom and Melissa❤
Thank you so much for the kind words. Food is a nice way to connect us to sweet memories of our loved ones. We really appreciate that you are watching our channel. Have a great Thanksgiving.
I miss my Mom too she was my best friend I loved her so. But I have another best friend that I love my hubby. Thank you for sharing your wonderful cooking videos.👍💗👏😋
We are sorry for the loss of your mom but we are happy you are blessed with a best friend in your husband. Thank you so much for watching our channel. We really do appreciate it.
Yep. My job this year is to make 48 deviled eggs. I found the NICEST double carrier online. Two are in the set. Each one holds 24 eggs with a lid . Then, they stack and have a handle to carry all 48 . Very pleased with it. Each is nice enough to be used to serve them…..or they can be swapped out to a fancy deviled egg plate. Merry Christmas top each year all .
This was an “Ah-ha” moment with the sandwich spread. I used to use it years ago for a sandwich spread. I’ll try this. I love the way y’all interact and those eye contact times. Like it’s an inside joke. I really enjoy your videos..
Thank you for posting this. I tried this recipe today. the filling was a little too sweet for my liking as is, so I shook in some Frank's Red Hot and it was just perfect. Much easier than how I usually make them.
Just made a small batch (6) of deviled eggs using your secret ingredient. They were excellent. I do not make deviled eggs often since it is just me and my wife at home . She said they were delicious. Keep up the great job. I enjoy your recipes.
I have been buying sandwich spread since 1963. I like it on light bread as a sandwich and sometimes put cheese on the sandwich. Usually for a snack. I will try this for deviled eggs.
I buy that spread, 2 jars at a time now, it’s getting hard to find, been using decades, I even use this on my cheeseburger buns, SoooGood :) I also cook my eggs 12 at a time in my instant pot, 5,5,5, release pressure, plunge eggs into ice water, 5 minutes peels slip right off.
I am so happy I found your channel! I’m 76 and am learning new ways from you…..and I’m a pretty decent cook. 😁 I can’t wait to try your breaded tomatoes! I ate them a lot growing up the way my mom made them, but she never taken them with flour and made them the way you did and they look so good. I’m going to try and make them this weekend. Keep up the good work I like the way you explain things and give all the details and measurements.
This looks so easy and oh so good. I will try this real soon. Thanks so much for sharing. My son cooks his eggs in the instant pot. Then he puts them in ice water. He says they peel great. God bless you.
I am so glad to hear the ingredients in sandwich spread...I have always loved it on sandwiches..now I will put it in my deviled eggs...I make my eggs in my instapot...it only takes 4. Minutes to cook and the shells pop off
FYI, they were named deviled eggs at the start because they were sprinkled with cayenne pepper, some also went into the yolk mixture.!! Huevos a la diablo..
I'm 71 & never heard of this recipe before. Definitely is a must try! Looking forward to making them. I've also heard people call them Stuffed Eggs to avoid the word "deviled." Blessings & greetings from central Florida.
I've always made the devil eggs in the last. Several years. And yes I get out all that stuff to put. In my eggs. But I watch your videos. All the time. And. I have made quite a few of your recipes. But when I was at the girl she had a day. I found the Sandwich spread. By craft. And I Made. A dozen and a 1/2 deviled eggs using. Your mother's craft Sandwich spread. And. They ate the eggs just like if I used all those single ingredients. And loved them. I now can say the craft Sandwich spread is my go to. For my devil eggs. Thank you I'm blessed you for sharing it. It works wonderful.
Tom! I miss my mom too so bad!! I’ll admit I was a Momma’s boy! I was 53 also but my parents I sure were much older. Mom would be now 102 and my dad would be 104. I’ll be 66 my b’day in Sept. God bless Mom’s!!🙏🏻
✍Hello Tom and Melissa...Tom that was my favorite spread "Kraft Sandwich Spread" growing up in the 50s I'm now 78 but, I bought a jar several years back and I threw it out cause it just didn't taste like the spread I loved and ate as a kid. You're actually the first person I ever even heard knowing about that spread. I might give it another try but can't promise. Hope You ANF your family have a Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 Good Night😴 God Bless LuvYa! Bye from Ohio🌹
I’m 64 and my grandmother made dressed eggs with salad spread also ,she would even add a little pickle juice. I wonder if this recipe is regional,I grew up in Kentucky.
When you talk about your Mom not measuring I was reminded of my husband's grandmother. Nana raised ten children to be excellent cooks and bakers without written recipes or directions. When we "youngers" tried to copy her we had her start making something and stopped her before she put in that "handful" or "tad" or" "pinch" so we could measure the amount she used.
G'day from Australia 🇦🇺 Never heard of sandwiche spread. If you boil older eggs then they'll peel easier, also, if you stir the eggs as they boil the yolks will remain in the centre making them look prettier. SMITHEREENS is a word used in Australia too.
We agree about the older eggs peeling easier. Tom might know about stirring the eggs as they boil but that's a tip I've not heard before so thanks so much for sharing it with me. I'll have to ask him about it. Sandwich spread is a really nice "trick" for making these quickly! It's a great time saver.
THANK YOU ❤❤ I use this product at least 2 or 3 times a week for my grandbabies sandwhiches and they love it .i never even thought of using it for deviled eggs .. trying this recipe , Thank You again Love your chanel
You have now introduced me to Kraft Sandwich Spread. I have never heard of it. My next deviled eggs will have it in them. We all love deviled eggs. Thanks again for sharing.
That’s very funny what Granny called them, because I call them “Angel” eggs since I don’t want to give the Devil credit for anything! Also, everyone calls me Gram! Love your cooking channel💗 Have a blessed day.🙏🏻
Awweee... this touched me!!🥺 I was abl3 to go to Florida & be with my boys for Thanksgiv ing! It's been 14 years... I lost my Momma in 2000 to cancer, she & my Daddy both... same year, 2 months apart. My heart goes out to you! 🤗🙏🏻❤️🩹🕊 hope yall had a blessed holiday!!!🍽🤎🦃
We appreciate your kind remarks. We had a lovely holiday with our kids. But we do miss Tom’s parents sitting at the table with us. I’m so glad you were able to spend Thanksgiving with your boys.
I have a secret ingredient. It is Frenchs worcestershire steak sauce. I mix a few drops into my eggs as I am mixing the other ingredients. It gives a little darked color to the eggs. But it so good. It gives it a little tangy flavor. I enjoy your channel thanks for sharing your receipts.
I have never heard of Kraft Sandwich Spread. I will look next time I go to the store. We always use Miracle Whip and add mustard and salt and pepper. Those look delicious.
Haven't thought, much less used, Kraft Sandwich Spread in MANY YEARS!! Just added it to my curbside list for today!! Never used it in my deviled eggs, but see it in my future ... soon! But arthritic hands say it will be egg salad, of course WITH paprika!! Thanks, for the mem-o-ries ... 🎶🎶
I mash mine to "Smithereens" too! I've never thought about using the Kraft Sandwich Spread, just use Miracle Whip and a dash of French's Yellow Mustard, salt and pepper, paprika dashed on top after filling . They are perfectly filled to me. If I want to be fancy I will put the filling into a piping bag with a flower tip and fill to take to a family dinner. My daughter always calls them "Devil Eye" Eggs, lol. This year I will give it a try with the Sandwich Spread
I had to come back here and comment on the sandwich spread. I'm 47 and have never had it before tonight. My local store was out of good tartar sauce, so I decided to substitute it with Kraft sandwich spread. What an outstanding substitute it was. It's going to be in my refrigerator from now on.
I always put a little bit of relish juice in mine, which also contains a few pieces of relish. I’m 75 years old and I have never heard of this. Spread our use Hellmann’s and miracle whip mixed together in mind, but I’m going to try this.
you know i forgot all about the sandwich spread from years ago that my mom had when i was a child and we loved it, same things in it that i put in my deviled eggs so this is nice to know. Also i just wanted to tell you that i have tried several of your recipes and have loved them all and you know i find myself acting like you more everyday when im cooking LOL. I have to laugh sometimes..but you guys are the best. Thanks for sharing!! Love ya both.
My youngest grandson has loved deviled eggs since he was a toddler. He was always standing on the step stool as I chopped bread and butter pickled and etc. Thanks for sharing your Mom's secret ingredient. I approve the Sandwich Spread! It shortened the prep work. I will have my 4th grader grandson test this new deviled egg version after school today. I always use my Instant Pot now to hard boil my eggs.
Grandson gave it s score of 8.4 out of 10. "It needs more bread and butter pickles." I will chop a few pickles to add with the sandwich spread when I know he will be eating. ❤
I'm so sorry. Dementia is such a horrible disease. It's wonderful that you were blessed with 65 years. Thank you so much for watching our channel. It's great to have you at the table with us.
I don't measure either, because I usually have a couple of egg whites that break or are otherwise unacceptable but I still will use the yolks. Also all my eggs are of varying weights/sizes so you won't know exactly how much is good. You have to add your stuff gradually, testing and tasting along the way. I've never heard of Kraft sandwich spread though! I always use Kraft Miracle Whip and add sweet pickle juice, mustard, salt and sugar until the taste and texture is right. I use a mixer on high speed to get it fluffy. Then I scoop it into an icing bag with the big star tip and swirl it into the whites. Sprinkled with paprika and voila! I'm our family's deviled egg maker 😊 always curious about how others do theirs!
Your eggs sound good too.I will try the star tip. My son puts the stuff in a zip lock bag and cuts a corner out. Pickle juice is good in slaw dressing. Sweet that is.
I use Kraft mayo and Gulden's Spicy Brown mustard (heavy on the mustard----it isn't sour); I mix with my emersion blender so it will be smooth). I always boil an extra egg and put the whole thing into the filling so every egg will have lots of filling (learned that from Paula Dean!). I use a sandwich baggie to fill the egg whites then I use a fork and put maybe 1/4 tsp of very finely-chopped sweet onions on top, then the same amount of sweet chopped salad pickles on top of the onions, then about a tsp of browned, crumbled, crunchy bacon on top of the pickles! So good!!!
Don't throw away the broken or thin egg whites, just glue them together with the filling. Still yummy. These are the ones I get to keep at home. Take the pretty ones to my functions,
Hey Tom and Melissa! I made up some deviled eggs with Kraft Sandwich Spread like you said to do and took them to a party recently. I was nervous about making deviled eggs that way but I trusted you Tom and they were a hit!! Everyone loved them ! They were so easy to make and I’ll never make them any other way. Tom , I got teary eyed with you over your sweet mom, that was so beautiful when you spoke of how you miss her !! 💕I’ll share your mom’s recipe with everyone , so thank you and a very Merry Christmas to you both!
I've totally forgotten about this sandwich spread. I love it on plain white bread as a kid. Know I have to buy some lol. Thank you for the idea for the eggs.
Thank you for sharing your memories of your Mom and her deviled eggs. I have learned an easier technique for mixing the yellows with salad dressing. Plop the hard boiled yolks into a food processor. Add salad dressing. Process. Then stuff the eggs. The knife blades of the processor make the creamiest filling. No lumps. Just a little technique to make it easier.
Hi there. Thanks for sharing such a wholesome delicious recipe thats been handed down from your dear mother. Bless her heart. ❤ 🙏 I enjoy your channel very much. What a beautiful couple you are. The bond and lpve you share is palpable. See you next time. ❤
Very interesting way to make the eggs. I have always mashed some softened butter in the yolks, then add Dukes mayo, little mustard, sweet pickle juice and stir it up. Like you, I just add mayo until it is right, never measured. Also, I would take a baggie and fold the top over a glass and fill it with the egg mixture. Then, once filled, I would snip off a corner and squeeze in the egg mixture. Top with paprika. Really, so similar to yours but yours is more refined. Thanks so much for sharing.
New to your channel and am loving your content! When you got emotional talking about missing your Mom, that really touched me. I know how you feel. I was raised by my maternal grandmother, who was a great cook and a good woman. I sure do miss her, too. May God bless you and yours!
Hi love your videos! My Mother always used the paper towels to set your eggs on an wipe off while filling them! She always used all the ingredients but I’m certainly gonna try the sandwich spread! I cried along when you tearing up missing your Mom! I know that feeling. ❤Thank you for the delicious looking deviled eggs! Take care & God Bless! 👍❤️🙏
I add spin blend instead of mayo, but it's hard to find. I'll try the sandwich spread, spin blend has all the same ingredients, only add salt. Boil eggs that are 2 to 3 weeks old, never new from store, peels like a charm.
Got to say I have tried lots of your recipes and ❤them keep up the good food line love the way you pre sent them I can keep up with you and the way you sit all products out step by step.🎉
Thanks for your encouraging comment. We try very hard to create an easy to understand and follow video. I think Tom's skills as a teacher really shine through when he's cooking. We appreciate that you've watched our channel.
Mine are easy, too. An older lady I knew taught me something similar, but she uses Marzetti cole slaw dressing instead of the Kraft sandwich spread. Delicious!
Thanks for the tip I never thought of using sandwich spread in deviled eggs eggs I use it just on bread for sandwiches but I will bur it in my deviled eggs from now on it is so good thanks again.😊
I always take 2 dozen deviled eggs (meaning I boil 2 dozen eggs )to our family reunion and never have any left. I put the yolk mixture in a ziploc bag and clip a small corner off to make a squeeze bag to fill the eggs. So much easier. I also don't add onions or pickles or paprika to them cause my family prefers them without.
I had used Mayo, Mustard and relish until I watched your video, (years), but I bought a jar of the Salad Spread, they tasted great but I did sprinkle paprika on them, wonderful, Thanks Y"all
I'm so glad I get to see this video last night I was up at about 3 watchin yall making grinch truffles while I was finishing up the gingerbread cookies my son was making I decided I would boil up some eggs and make some Deviled eggs so I could snack on something actually healthy this weekend so ive got the eggs in the Fridge and I'm placing my Walmart order and just now added the sandwich spread I haven't had sandwich spread in a few years. It reminds me of my grandparents theyve been gone 25 years and i still talk about them and remember so much . As the saying goes "apart but forever in the heart" I never thought about adding it... I'm so excited to try it 😊 once my order gets here!!!
My mom, my oldest sister, and one of my nieces made great deviled eyes. Same recipe!! I think instead of measuring the "mayo" mixture, showing the consistencies was better. As Melissa said, some might not make 12 eggs. Some might even do more. I like your videos...
I use that same recipe have for years given to me by a lady at my work only I add a little salt and pepper, also optional sometimes I dice up jalapenos and always put paprika on and I use a Pampered Chef decorator to fill the eggs
Thanks Tom! for sharing your mothers recipe for the Deviled Eggs
Made me cry. I miss my sweet mother too and I was 73 when she passed. We were so blessed to have them that long.
I put vinegar in mine too…
I've definitely heard of the Kraft sandwich spread, but never used it in my deviled eggs!
I LOvE watermelon pickle. I paid a lot for a pint of it recently and it was mushy.
Wow! You wrote everything I was thinking! I too am typing through tears, and missing my parents. Love this guy!
I'm 76 and have never heard of Kraft Sandwich Spread! I can't wait to try it. Thanks for always teaching us new things.
Bless you guys. ❤
I too am 76 and haven’t eaten it since I was a kid.
“And smash those yolks to smithereens” “There’s a fancy culinary term for ya!” 😂😂❤
Cheers to your Mom ❤
She had a wonderful recipe! Thanks so much for watching our channel.
Sounds amazing
Had to laugh when you said you never measured the salad spread! My Mother made biscuits and pie crusts that way! Mom has been gone 24 years. After all this time, holidays and important dates are still hard. Make Mom and Grandma proud and keep making those deviled/dressed eggs!
Love that! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing your Mom and her recipe ❤
I am 67 years old and deviled eggs and the are my favorite
Thank for sharing your video with us
God bless from west Texas
I miss my Mom and my oldest sister and most of all I miss my husband. I recently lost him to brain cancer. We were married 39 years and he was my rock. And he loved my deviled eggs. I wish he was still here bc I would make him some deviled eggs using your Mom’s recipe. I bet she was a sweet lady. God bless.
I'm so sorry for you loss.
I lost my son, DaKota Lee Smith at the age of 28 to metastatic colon cancer on 5/27/2023
Life without my son is the most painful experience I'll ever have to endure.
@sherrywilliams409 I am so sorry for your loss! I bet your husband would have loved these deviled eggs! God bless you, comfort you and may God supply all your needs!
@@CcDecember-yq1nf thank you very much!
@@eesmith69 I’m very sorry for your loss.

I keep sandwich spread all the time. Never thought of using it in deviled eggs. Thank for the advice.
Thank you for posting this. I tried this recipe today. the filling was a little too sweet for my liking as is, so I shook in some Frank's Red Hot and it was just perfect. Much easier than how I usually make them.
We love that most recipes are flexible enough to make them to your taste bud's preferences. We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
Minutes to cook and the shells pop off
I'm just like your precious Mom, Tom. I love deviled eggs. I will make mine like this from now on. Thanks for sharing this easy recipe.
I miss my mama too. The woman was a saint. I can tell you love your mom too. Love your videos. So glad I found you on YT.
Miracle whip good
I’m 64 and my grandmother made dressed eggs with salad spread also ,she would even add a little pickle juice.
G'day from Australia 🇦🇺
Never heard of sandwiche spread.
You are so welcome. We are grateful to have you watching. Enjoy using the Sandwich Spread!
I’m glad your mom had someone who loved her so much. (You)
I am so glad that you shared these. I loved deviled eggs. But I could not get them right. Thank you for sharing. God bless you.
That’s very funny what Granny called them, because I call them “Angel” eggs since I don’t want to give the Devil credit for anything! Also, everyone calls me Gram! Love your cooking channel💗 Have a blessed day.🙏🏻
I have friends that call them angel eggs, also.
We called them ... salad eggs
Awweee... this touched me!!🥺 I was abl3 to go to Florida & be with my boys for Thanksgiv ing!
I just found your channel. I love it. Thankyou for all of your great recipes❤
LOVE ALL YOUR STORIES THAT GO WITH YOUR RECIPES ❤
Thank you so much! We really do appreciate that you are watching our channel. Have a great week.
*1:07* Bless her and R.I.P. These look really great.
We think it's a great and convenient trick. We hope you enjoy them like we do. We wish you a very Merry Christmas!
@@comesitatmytable9044 Merry Christmas
Thank you for Sharing!! Happy Holidays!!
I had to come back here and comment on the sandwich spread. I'm 47 and have never had it before tonight. My local store was out of good tartar sauce, so I decided to substitute it with Kraft sandwich spread. What an outstanding substitute it was. It's going to be in my refrigerator from now on.
Thank you for sharing your awesome recipes..GOD BLESS!
Your comment has made us smile! Thank you so much for reaching out to us! We are delighted to have you watching our channel.
Thanks for sharing Sandwich Spread. I've neven heard of it until this very day😊 It's the Sandwich Spread that makes it taste's like Mom's 😊
You are so welcome! We are happy to have you watching our channel.
I will definitely try this recipe next time. I miss my Mom also. I was blessed to have her for 65 years. I lost her to dementia 4 years ago.
I always did mine with Hellmans mayonnaise and yellow or Dijon mustard, dusted with smoked paprika.
Take the pretty ones to my functions,
Sweet I love how you made your devil eggs like your mom . I am going to try your mom’s recipe for Easter dinner
Thank you for the tip! We love getting ideas like this. We really appreciate that you've watched our video. Hope you're having a great day!
Hi there. Thanks for sharing such a wholesome delicious recipe thats been handed down from your dear mother. Bless her heart. ❤ 🙏 I enjoy your channel very much. What a beautiful couple you are. The bond and lpve you share is palpable.
See you next time. ❤
Love deviled eggs. Can’t find Kraft Sandwich Spread in my market. Smithereens is very Irish expression that I grew up using. GOOD SHOW!
Kraft Miracle whip sandwich spread is good, that what i use
Very interesting way to make the eggs. I have always mashed some softened butter in the yolks, then add Dukes mayo, little mustard, sweet pickle juice and stir it up. Like you, I just add mayo until it is right, never measured. Also, I would take a baggie and fold the top over a glass and fill it with the egg mixture. Then, once filled, I would snip off a corner and squeeze in the egg mixture. Top with paprika. Really, so similar to yours but yours is more refined. Thanks so much for sharing.
Have never seen that spread in the store. I will definitely look for it & try your recipe. Thx for sharing.
I grew up using salad spread . Always loved the stuff! Will definitely make my deviled eggs this way next time !
Thanks for watching!
I will have to try your recipe. I use that sandwich spread for sandwiches. I enjoy watch you cooking.
A melon baller scoop works great. Or a decorative icing tip makes them look pretty. 😊.
I never knew this product existed!! I am so excited to try it! Thank you so much for simplifying all of this!
Looks delicious, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for reminding us about the spread I also put a little vinegar in my deviled eggs makes them very good.
YOU HAVE GOT THE BEST RECIPES, LOVE LOVE YOU CHANNEL
Delicious!! Never used Kraft Sandwich Spread ever!! I have been missing out! Thanks Tom!
The sandwich spread is a great trick Tom’s mom swore by. We’re glad she shared that tip with us! Thank you for watching our videos.
God bless you. Thank you for sharing your mom’s recipe. Love you guys. 💝
My family loves deviled eggs,
That’s for sharing your mamas recipe
Wow! I love this guy. The recipes are awesome and he is such a sweet, pleasant person.
