Great video- I started my snake plant propagation journey about half a year ago with 4-5inch long cuttings in soil and I now have far too many babies to handle
Help! Why are my cuttings getting so soggy ? Also do I not need to allow the cuttings to dry and callous before I put them in water? I do change the water every few days as well
I didn't let mine callous before pacing them in water and they did great. Don't put them in direct sunlight or anywhere that it gets too hot. If you're changing the water regularly, I'm not sure why they are getting so soggy.
Recommend adding species names and in this particular instance synonym to the title and/or tags might help get you more views? I dug mine out the other day was smaller then when I planted it. Was next to a pomegranate and A. maculata which has been threatening a take over its spot for a couple of years, it was in really poor soil thats bone dry 9 months of the year with no inputs from me, water nor compost. The Pomegranate and aloe can tolerate the harsh conditions, the Dracaena not so much so I've potted it up and I'll find it a new home when it recovers. Anyways, have a good one!
I've had my snake plant since 1788 when I was on H.M.S Bounty and we stopped off at Jamaica and I brought back some plants with Captain Bligh after the other members of the ship's crew mutineered set us adrift in a small boat.. It took 138 years for them to grow to 4 feet tall and now they are 12 feet tall ⛵ 🪴🥳
Fantastic information thank you
Thanks for the tips!
You are very welcome! 💚

Thank you so much Zoe! Haha that's awesome! A good problem to have.
Give them away as Christmas gifts. But first teach those that you give to them tips on how to care for
Hey great video thanks again
Thank you Justin! 💚
