It’s not that bad, it’s based on the actors face thus being modeled after him.
I’m sure we’ll see more of his classic face in Dead Space 2 when he grows more and more unhinged, probably to have dark circles around his eyes bags under them, have shaved hair and a stubble.

B. He's forgotten so much and haven't replayed the game enough to remember that even if he did read them again they wouldn't even be the Same
Theres a text log on the kellion that hints at his dad being in the Marker program.
Plus, theres notes on things from the other games and the movies
Ok, I'm gonna go watch a 2-and-a-half hour video breaking down the entire story and timeline of Dead Space because watching Jack play a story-driven game for the story is like trying to read a book on a rollercoaster
It's also the fact he's already played the whole franchise so he's not as compelled to pay attention to the story in this playthrough. That story breakdown video you mentioned is really good though, it even discusses the books.
The story for dead space 1 and the remake are different so keep an eye out for that

Isaac's foot-stomp might not compare to the Slayer's mighty boot, but it's a decent second, I'd say.

46:08 Jack just saying she might still be alive while aggressively stomping the flesh off of her is the most funniest shit ever.
I love the improvements to the dialogue, it feels far more like an experienced crew that have been in some rough spots before. Obviously this is a *completely* different level than any of them have probably dealt with, they have moments where tension is in their voices, and some understandable panic. But nothing severe and they quickly calm down. Feels far more like a functional emergency crew than in the original. I dig it.
I agree so much with this! The dialouge just feels way more organic and realistic compared to the original. And having him volunteer to fix the tasks for your objectives makes him feel less like an errand boy and more like a man who knows to do his job.

Considering how nice and pleasant Sean is, I'm sure he doesn't know. But Isaac's new face is because they remodeled him to look more like Gunner Wright, his voice actor. They also recorded multiple versions of all his lines to reflect Isaac's health and stamina. Okay, that's enough random knowledge, back to enjoying Sean's return and this wonderful game

Isaac kinda look like Gunner, but he's much more handsome in real life. Probably the beard, hopefully Isaac will have a beard in the sequel

If you look really close after that first scene in the elevator when Issac gets all the blood on him, you can see it drip down his armor. That's insane.
For something that is basically nothing but gore, death, and darkness... It is really a beautiful game. The attention to detail is chef's kiss.
I live how completely unfazed isaac is seeing aliens murder people and then one almost killing him grtting covered it its blood
One additional note I thought was insane, the corpese all have the Peel system on them as well. Ripping apart people and corpses never been more realistic... least I think, never seen something like that and Im thankful for that

The reveal of the Ishimura with that star in the backdrop is one of the all time great video game moments, in my eyes. Brings to mind seeing Rapture in Bioshock or stepping out of Vault 101 in Fallout 3.
Or the reveal of Columbia in Bioshock Infinite, man that game had such beautiful visuals. I wonder what a remake of that game would look like ❤️❤️

Jack was absolutely a comedic genius today. I haven’t laughed like I had watching him in a while. Not only do I get to watch a beautiful recreation of Dead space but a absolute funny man who was great in all aspects. Can’t wait for Episode 2 “IN THE NEXT VIDEO!!”

I like that Jack will still call out stuff he doesn't like, even when he's partnered with the developers for Cloak. It speaks to his integrity in my opinion.
The sound edit from Robin with the wiggle legs is so great tho. I'm so glad that this is a good remake, it's fun to see Sean enjoy himself so much.
The depth added to the sound so it got louder and changed positions depending on Jack was a great touch.

I used to watch tons of Sean back in highschool years and years ago, and obviously watched less and less as I got older. I honestly hadn't watched a video in ages, but then the new God of War came out and I didn't have time to play it. I fondly remembered watching Sean's playthrough's growing up, so I watched his playthrough of GoW and remembered why I loved watching him. And now I had the same thing with dead space (not enough time to play it) and lo and behold he has a playthrough just in time. It's been so good to relive some fond highschool vibes, thank you for staying you, Sean.

I just love how "connected" Sean is for the games he's playing. The edits sometimes reflect the events going on in the game like the crash landing here, wearing the merch of the game or having something that is sold to advertise the game, say Thor's hammer. It really makes him stand out, not making vids that are just a video game movie + a voice and a camera.
So do I! Just like, _Shadow of the Colossus, God Of War_ and far too many games to mention, Seán is my personal introduction to _Dead Space._
Because I wasn’t searching for any specific gameplay when I found his Channel nearly six years ago, I’m especially invested in what he has to say and what his initial impressions were versus how he feels today.

I still find it funny, that even though they made Isaac talk more, the very first time he ever sees these aliens, and watched his friends die, he doesn't let out a peep, not even while being chased or the jumpscare on the elevator, like he is just a brick wall from the very beginning.

When they change a character to the point that they don't even look the same it feels like a completely different character. Like imagine if they gave vegeta in Dragon ball super a full head of hair taking away his widows peak, Yeah it might look better but that's not Vegeta LOL!
Dead Space is my favorite horror game ever, the first horror game I have ever played, actually. It's cool to see Jack playing the Remake. This is going to bring back a lot of scary memories.

I like how Sean still genuinely enjoys gaming and looks forward to it. Marks playthrough of this seemed really stale but it's really refreshing to be just as excited to play this game due to a similar connection to one of our favorite games ever
