    I love your accent!
    I drink nettle tea every day. I'm not clear what the benefits are, but I love the flavor. I keep jars in the fridge and usually drink it as a cold tea. I did recently get my hand accidently in a hornet nest and got stung. My palm was aching pretty badly and there was a dark red spot where the stinger got me. Just for fun I went inside and put the nettle tea on the sting. It was amazing, within seconds it didn't hurt anymore, and I literally could not see the spot where I had been stung. The aching came back an hour later, but very lightly aching and not a big deal. I don't know, but it seemed like the stinging nettle, that can cause so much pain, also can stop stinging pain - that seems so cool to me! God's creation is a mystery, but really fun to explore!

    Thank you for the video. I wish you could write a description of your tincture in the description area to help more people. I had skin problems and went to the doctors (Pharmacy as you put it) and they gave me some creams to use and told me my problem will persist forever. Just a few months ago I did some research and landed on stinging nettle. Oh my! Oh my! I wish I could post how smooth my face looks like. I just boiled the leaves and the stem (I have not tried the roots yet) but my testimony is that stinging nettles are a powerhouse. If you know anyone with skin issues, Please recommend stinging nettle. Boil the leaves, leave to cool and drink, heal instantly.

      After reading the benefits for improving T levels in old men, I discovered the video in july ;-( I'm going to give it a try now anyway to hopefully get some benefit and will do another batch in the spring. I had bought a nettle supplement, but it looks like it was made from the leaves and not the root.

    Is drinking a pound of nettle roots in tea form per month ok?

    • @petraskrobakova9279
      @petraskrobakova9279  4 роки тому +2

      I always try to stick to moderation rule because thats the best rule BUT if youre trying to treat some issue lets say if one suffers from prostate troubles then I would drink it in higher quantity, dont see any harm, another thing is ..use these roots in fall or early spring, not in the second part of the year after May, June since they pull stuff from soil...nitrates

  • @bluebutterflywellness2273
    @bluebutterflywellness2273 4 роки тому

    Great video! I harvested nettle roots today but they were nowhere as thick and fleshy as yours. They mainly fine, hairy looking roots. I dug even DEEPER, nearly breaking my hand shovel. Any thoughts as to why this was the case? Will still process into tincture though a little disappointed with my harvest.

    • @petraskrobakova9279
      @petraskrobakova9279  4 роки тому +3

      First of all there are different types of nettles that could be the case too but all of them are medicinal so no worries ....source matters too and climate... I can get nice huge roots in the part close to the woods or in the woods ...also you can get more years old plant like I was getting here I guess....dont worry, they're all good as soon as you dig them in the right time and clean source is all what matters to me

      Use a proper garden fork. Break up the soil around the clump of newly sprung nettles. Approximately one square metre. When you have thoroughly broken up the soil then get your hands under nettles and start to ease the root system up gradually. If you have broken up soil enough you should get a big clump of root system. It's easy if you spend a few minutes with fork initially. You want the big rhizomes which lie just under the surface.

    • @petraskrobakova9279
      @petraskrobakova9279  5 років тому +4

      Sure, you can extract benefits with apple cider vinegar...it might not have as long life shelf as if it was done with alcohol but done already some reishi, wild root or wild plant tincture based on ACV and its all good

      sure, why not to use Apple cider vinegar, I do it very often when I dont want to drink any alcohol ...ACV will extract components pretty well..the only disadvantage...it won't last as long as alcohol based tincture, still great medicine

  • @charronfamilyconnect
    @charronfamilyconnect 4 роки тому

    What is the best way to consume the roots if you do not have alcohol around, and you want to support your prostate? I heard that alcohol lowers your testosterone, and the way to decrease the size of the prostate is to increase testosterone. So with alcohol added doesn't this work against supporting the prostate? This seems contradictory?Thanks!
