I'd really love it if you would tell me what fucking development he makes at the end, he was winging it the entire time every step of the way getting his plans blown up all the time the only reason he didn't die was because we were there to bail him out. He never changed from beginning to end. So I ask again what charecter development did he go through?
I played so much D3 but really forgot about all the characters because I only paid attention to the story on the first playthrough back in 2012. I completely forgot Lorath was in D3. Now I want to go back and play the campaign again to see what else I've forgotten.
Hello fellow Diablo goblins 🙂. With this video, I'm venturing into my second journey of creating an extended Diablo Lore video, and I'm eager to hear what you think! Feel free to share your views and recommendations in the comment section below. Your insights are crucial for refining future scripts, so don't hesitate to voice your thoughts! I've already gratefully received some feedback indicating an excess use of adjectives in this script, and that's an area I'll improve on for the next video.
I'm loving these videos! This is an awesome way to delve into the rich Diablo lore. You have a great voice for this project, too. The only suggestion I have is to watch your pronunciations, and maybe run through your script a couple times if there are sticky words giving you trouble. That's a very small thing though. I'll be waiting for more of these!
Thank you very much for the feedback, especially on this video as it was my first in-depth video and I'm not really happy with it. So many adjectives. Anyway, I take you feedback at heart and I hope you'll enjoy the ones coming up this week. Thank you again 🤗
Love the breakdown with cool images and your tone throughout! Awesome to see Lorath is a recurring character as D4 is my first game and I really liked him. I think any criticism I would have had are very minor and they’ve already been said by other people. Great work ☺️ I’d be keen to see a video on Mephisto. He’s kinda the real “big bad” in D4 but we don’t learn much about him beside that he’s a Prime Evil and brother of Baal and Diablo. What exactly are Prime Evils and what have they done in the lore? Another topic along the same lines could be the angels. Especially the angel of death as he’s very intriguing to me.
Yo just saying you should also do audio books. Been listening to your videos while I work and it feels like I’m listening to an official audio book! Keep up the good work!!🎉🎉
I mostly remember him, since he basically took over Deckard’s role of narrating the Reaper of Souls bestiary lore. Basically he was just there for exposition. He didn’t really become an interesting character until D4.
Great video man appreciate it! I allways wondered about the lore of Diablo and now with the end of D.III I was not sure who was the narator in those preview videos love these stories and I would deffinately like if you would make more. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! I was still figuring things out on this one so have a look at my more recent stuff if you have a chance. In any case, thank you so much for the kind comment.
Don’t know if anyone else pointed it out, but it’s pronounced Ann-alls, not Aen-alls. Someone might get confused about what you’re talking about 😂 Great video!
Whats actually crazy is how fucking old he is while doing this He was already a man come Act5 of D3 and its been 50 years since in D4 making him at least a 70 year old mortal
As much as i love Lorath, i LOVE VIGO, Most human character in the story by far. reminds me of Boromir from Lord of rings. redeems himself before death. also Vigo is voiced By Gavin Hammon, SAME VOICE ACTOR AS KENNY FROM WALKING DEAD. Vigo and Kenny both are bad A$$es.
Cain was the last horadrim and even he wasn't really a horadrim in the truest sense but he held their lore... The "horadrim" Tyrael gathered in d3 aren't real horadrim either, they weren't powerful mages or mystics. Lorath isn't a horadrim as much as people are calling him one and he called himself one... Can't just step on established lore because you don't know how to write around it.
Eh I’m more interested in what happened to the main character of Diablo 3. I’m surprised the character is never mentioned in Diablo 4 since the character is literally a divine being and immortal since the Nephalem are immortal
@@VideoBastard5150 Its more shameful for how the former hero who help beat the version of Combine 7 Ultimate Prime Evil Diablo in D3 is losing and get killed by lowly thugs.
Looked up the books of lorath... They retconned the Nephilim.. Also.. The dead crusader is speculated to be the apprentice of the d3 crusader.... Her protege so to speak and not the actual one we played....
I have to agree with gogogadgetkat, pronunciation needs work, and taking a couple extra takes when you stumble on a line will massively help. Great video overall but the stumbles snd mispronunciation is very distracting. 15:10 lmfao bruhhhh that is NOT the way you pronounce that omg 😂 u trying to get age restricted? Lolol
You know when you look back at your first videos and cringe? Yeah that's me right now haha. I'm not a native speaker so I fumble the ball sometimes but I think I'm getting better. I spend more time on checking prononciation as I go along. Anyway, thanks for your comment. I hope you check out my other videos.
Generic Deckard Cain doesn't interest me.... neither does any of the other forgettable characters in d4. Blizzard REALLY missed the ball on storytelling this time... They had a great idea, then gave it to someone that couldn't spell their own name to implement it....
Lorath us the unsung GOAT. His character development throughout D4 was compelling. He really takes one for the team at the end

It's funny, you are similar to Lorath in how you bring to light all of this Diablo lore! Your channel has been a great resource thanks man

Amazing comment, thank you so much. A video on Mephisto is absolutely in the works.

That's a scary idea haha. Thank you for your comment.
Lovely video again. I appreciate that you keep it serious in a natural way so the weight of these situations really can land.
I cared so little for the story of D3 that I had completely forgotten that Lorath was in it.
I mostly remember him, since he basically took over Deckard’s role of narrating the Reaper of Souls bestiary lore. Basically he was just there for exposition. He didn’t really become an interesting character until D4.
Very insightful video! Thanks for making it. I haven't played Diablo 4 yet, but I find the new lore interesting to explore.
Great channel.
Keep working hard you're nailing it.
You can count on me. Thank you.
Lorath was my fav character
You aren't the only Lorath stan here. *BAM!* Subscribed. :D
Much love. Thank you!

You are very welcome. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video.
Lorath was the Horadrim that accompanied Tiriel and, us at points during Reaper of Souls? Whoa.
You are one word smith i can tell you that
Absolutely hypnotized

Thank you for spending time with me, Jorge. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, I find my latest scripts much better but I'm happy you like this one too!

It had to be done he did not flinch
Lorath was awesome:)
The man doomed us all.
Deckard Cain if he was an alcoholic.
Deckard Cain lite.
Oh yeah. Major drunkie.

It's a good question.
I bet they went with Tyreal to go check out whatever the hell was more important than Lilith over on the other side of the world
D3 crusader is found dead in a sidequest. Haven't found any other links to past characters yet.
