Very deep and meaningful, a lot of families had something going on, mine did as well, I live in Australia. I feel I even continued the cycle, my adult children have bad memories of alcohol abuse with my late husband. We have to keep head up and continue on and try to break the cycle. Love to all that watch this. ❤❤😢
And a right plank not at the wake. But that's sort of the story. Not seeing, not knowing,~ yet thinking, and acting and saying all the while ~as if you are the only one that knows. And then struggling with it all when you are put right.
This was made in 1981. Yet most of old Thornaby had been flattened a decade earlier to make way for the A66. To make matters worse Thornaby New Town is already knackered. Very sad.
@@williamhughes934 Maybe she dated both, from memory I recall her with Barry and did some online research and found she dated Barry. Some pics/info of them online.
@@scottdonaldson1973oh yes. Knew he looked familiar. I only vaguely remember Billy Walker being in Corrie. Wasn’t he Deirdre’s boyfriend before she married Ray Langton? x
A so-called comedy which I've never heard of till now, and why on earth would I like an Asian comedy? Fatuous comment. Britain in the seventies was not populated by Yorkshire men and Yorkshire women trapped in a 1930s time-warp. There are superb Play For Today dramas which don't resort to lazy village-play scenarios.

The tax disc on the motorcycle he's sat in his friend;'s garage on says, November 74 as it's date of expiry
@@Sam_Green____4114that means nothing that is simply a date on a motorbike in a garage.
@@AndrewDaley-lr9qg It means the tax runs out at the end of November 74
@@Sam_Green____4114 yes but it don't mean this was filmed in the 70s which it is not
@@Sam_Green____4114 imdb states the episode aired April 6 1982
Is it set in doorman town

Yes as Fran Pearson one of Barry Grants girlfriends. If memory serves me right, she joined the cast in the early 90's.

These Coronation Street soin-offs AKA Play for Today are so damn tedious.
