There was a dua I continuously made for 12 years which I didn’t receive. If he didn't want to give it to me then i asked him to remove the desire from my heart but i still want it so much. and the pain of seeing others getting it, especially those who are younger and haven't prayed for it nearly as much, is an agonizing pain i cant even put into words. the grief is too much and it feels like Allah is trying to torture me. I honestly feel so abandoned by Allah.

Jazakallahu khayran for this reminder sis. I think a lot of us need it, including myself. I’ve been afflicted with sihr and evil eye for years now, making constant dua for cure yet nothing has changed. Ruqyah makes me worse & more ill. But for anyone going through the same test as me or similar, accepting qadr in that this has happened for a reason is vital. Maybe you wouldn’t have been granted jannah or firdaus without such a test. Maybe the khair (goodness) in this test is that it brings you closer to Allah & strengthens you in faith. Allah’s qadr is superior to all else & we are on His timing. Timing is something I struggle with most. I compare myself to those who have been through a similar test as me but were granted cure much sooner (days or months). And comparison in this case is toxic because again, we are all different with different trials and different durations for said trials. Allah will grant you cure/ease based on His accord. His timing. Not yours or when you see it fit. Hang in there inshaAllah. And I pray that whatever hardship it is that we are experiencing that He accepts our Duas and that we never stop asking. No matter how disheartening it may be to not have something accepted even after many years in my case, there is khair in that delay. Think about those in 🍉for example. Keep me in your Duas inshallah as well as the whole ummah & inshaallah I’ll do the same for all of you too. Jazakallahu khayran💗

I did a prayer, and made a dua today, was very sad about my situation. This video showed up as a first recommendation. It really help me and soothe me. I doubted Islam, when something traumatic happened to me. I lost all my faith. I was making bad duas for the man who abused me and took my innocence. I was making duas that his sisters gets r-ape, cause he r-ape me. I had so much sadness that turn into anger. I burst anger left and right to everyone cause of amount of pain I had. This video explains beautifully that maybe Allah has better plan for me that I don’t know of yet. Maybe he has better future for me. A better man that suited me well.

If something doesn’t go my way or work out the way I want I tell my self this “ it was allahs protection, he has saved me from something bad later on down the line he knows what I don’t know” and that really calms my heart.

Don't say that. Khadija (ra) was 45 when she married the Prophet (saw) and had 6 children. It's never too late. All those years that you've made dua are recorded for you as good deeds and you'll see it on Yawmal Qiyamah, when you'll need it the most.
I made so much dua to receive my visa and today it got rejected. I don’t understand why? I made so much prayer I really really needed this and now it’s ruined my chances of travelling to other countries for the future. I feel hopeless idk how to have faith. Life has been so difficult for me lately, nothing seems to be going my way even though I pray and make so much dua. I want to give up.

And everything happens accordingly. Things will work out for you in the best way, the way Allah has planned. Strengthen your imaan and keep going. It will all unfold in the best of ways. Rather read salah tul istikhara your sign will be whether the matter is easier for you or if it becomes harder. If the thing you’re making dua for goes further away, or there are obstacles in the way etc this is generally a sign from istikhara to leave it. Pray istikhara and trust Allah.

Also, there is no such thing as doing an istikhara to continue making a dua. Stop misleading people with this. Istikhara is done before you act upon a decision. For e.g. you get a job offer you want to accept, you do istikhara and you proceed with the job offer. Or you find a house you want to buy, do istikhara and then proceed with the process of buying the house. If its good then the process will be smooth its not then it'll fall apart. Istikhara does not mean you do it and then wait for a sign whether you should buy the house or not.
There are Muslim people who has not married yet even in their 40s and they are asking for dua for marriage on the comments. Sometimes Allah doesn’t wanna give us something and its his decision, that’s it. Sometimes there is no better. There is none. Its better to accept this reality and living for being useful to world and preparing ourselves for death. Death is near inshaAllah.
I appreciate the message from this video but it doesn’t always work like that. If Allah truly wanted for it to work out, he would have made it work out instead of giving “something better”. This is why I’m a strong believer of fatalism and determinism. I truly think it doesn’t matter what we do or how hard we strive for something, it’ll never ever be our way unless Allah wants it to be a certain way. This is why there’s debates of whether we should be accountable for anything that happens to us, when it all comes from Allah.
