Looking good. Takes time as a one man show to get things done. Have you done septic yet? I like how Morty hasn't let being a YT star go to his head. No sunglasses like some people. 😎 😂
Strength. Who cares about saving a buck if your house doesn't last? I'm not sure where you are, but out here, we get some hurricane-force storms every once in a blue moon. You should check out how they frame on the coast of New England; very similar.
Summer of 2022, we had a derecho blow through here. It only lasted one or two hours, but it destroyed half the fences, etcetera on our property; tore roofs off homes; tipped over trailers; and almost broke the first version of that frame. After that is when I started sistering every single stud. It made a big difference. Better than blocking.
The building has 7 windows (plus one more coming) and a sliding glass door and a 12-light door... You saw me walking around inside with natural lighting... why would it be dark? Less than 10 percent glaze is ideal for thermal... we don't need more than that in AZ.

Thanks! Don't let him fool you; he's a total ham. No idea where he gets it from.
Sorry, forgot to answer your question about the septic... Plans, yes; installation, no. I'm just doing a small and simple above ground tank.
Hi, good to see your doing well, I remember the green house faces s/e, but did you happen to mention how the house sits?
Thanks. The entrance faces perfectly east.
Just out of curiosity, why did you double, triple, even quadruple your 2x6 Studs? That's a hell of a lot of added cost.

@@arizonaadam3000 Fair enough.
Where are all the windows? There are like 6?!?!?! The house is going to be dark and you cannot enjoy the view!!
