Howard Blake - The Pink Panther Strikes Again - Opening Credits

Opus 220 - 1975.
Henry Mancini, the composer of the Pink Panther Theme, was himself otherwise engaged and so unable to put together this arrangement, a musical montage of classic Movie and TV themes. Mancini rang Howard and asked if he could do the arrangement in different styles appropriate to the source material (King Kong, Batman and others).
Later that year, it would win the Oscar for best opening sequence.
