The lyrics to this are really interesting, basically ripped straight out of the Bible, the book of Revelation, Babylon the great, the harlot, really interesting stuff

And he who stricketh down will be acenged secenfold. Mainstrem metal usea alot of hypnotism in riffs and lyrics, which is why many stsrted to dub it as satans music. There was a whole lot of demonic references in the lyrics, there nightmare album was rumoured to have been maxe because jimmy soul was sacrificed, which ia hinted alot in the white album. But the nighare album refrences hell alot. God hates us? Is a big give away. The guitar tabs numbers come out to 333 and 666
@@skylarvandevander8405 I actually think their music is more of a subtle warning of Satan and how he will try to portray himself than trying to diss God in their music. The Beast and the Harlot is basically a church school lesson of the fall of Babylon, just in musical form.
i fell in love with avenged sevenfold in 2010 so i missed the days of the Rev, unfortunately. his drumming was INCREDIBLE. but these guys are real lovable a-holes. their music and confidence gave me the confidence to apply to universities and go back to school at 24 so they have a special place in my heart
