Very true. He uses these at every show. He is the main guy that plays these guitars, he is the lead spokes person so to speak. From what I understand is that he uses these originals a lot from back in the day at live shows.

The reason we said don't watch the video is because this isn't the complete song. It cuts out a great lead-in, extended drum & guitar solos, and there was an outro that was removed

The guy with the red eye shadow is Zacky Vengeance. He is the rhythm guitar/backing vocals for Avenged.
I wish they didn’t cut out The Rev’s solo. Also really hope you react to the LBC, or at least some songs from it. I think it’ll give you a new perspective on how genuinely good they are.
11:15 all these guys grew up in orange county and on top of the rock and metal scene the hip hop and rap scene was just as vibrant. When this came out in 2005 the look that A7X had was unique and stood out due to the influences of hip hop both culturally and musically they all grew up around; hence the grills, tattoos, clothing, etc.
That guitar is his own custom made/designed guitar that he collabed with the guitar company Schecter to make, there are lots of variations of it

I bought one of those when I was younger. If you like tremolo guitars it's so much fun. I found out that I don't and ended up selling it. Wasn't a custom or anything, just the original black and white pinstripe standard version. If I were to buy one again I'd buy the latest gold burst with the sustaniac.
Beast and the Harlot is about the fall of Babylon. The lyrics are pretty direct about that. It's a fun song to sing!
Disclaimer, the music videos shorten the songs. They're like the "radio" versions. When you get a chance I recommend you listen to the studio or Live in LBC versions. The intro and outro are epic in this song.
I hate the music video for this song. It cuts out the intro, and the outro. As well as the drum solo, and the key change toward the end. It's awful.
It's the symbolism of the fall of Babylon in Revelation. There is no beast or harlot is the actual fall of Babylon as that was destroyed by Cyrus the Great and the Persian army. This song is a direct passage from Revelation 17-18 where John (the author of Revelation) was shown a prophecy of end times through "the beast" and the "prostitute" which led to the downfall of Babylon. Which is all symbolism because the actual fall of Babylon was previously stated

The guitar is Synyster Gates' own Schecter artist model. He's had that exact shape for a long time now and it's been produced in a lot of different colour options. Black and red, black and white, white and black, gold and black, black and gold, white and gold, purple and black, green and black, a kind of blood spatter on white, solid black gloss and matte, plus maybe one or two more.... They've pretty much covered most of the options available to them at this point!
There was also a joker version that was purple and green
you have to do some of their Live in the LBC stuff
amazing songs where you can hear M shadows pour his heart out would be songs like I wont see you tonight, save me, tension, Brompton cocktail, and many many more. They are all a very different feel from most of the songs youve already reacted to.

Do a reaction to Unholy Confessions. Shadows had much cleaner singing prior to City of Evil but jacked up his vocal chords by screaming improperly. He's been through a few surgeries now.
They told you not to watch the video because the video cuts out a sick drum solo in the middle
He still plays the same guitars to this day. I believe there are 4 colors he uses. White, Red, Yellow, and I think there is a Purple. That 4th color Purple might not be one but the other 3 I know he has and plays them to this day at their shows. I have seen A7X 8 times, They have a great show. Their sound and showmanship is fantastic. They do not have any big props or elaborate stage set ups, Kind of bare in the stage set up usually, but the music and sound totally makes up for the non use of props and things, at least for their recent tours. They do use fire and unique video screens, but a somewhat bare set-up. Thanks for doing A7X month. Maybe you can do a KISS month with live shows anytime from 1996 to 2014 shows. These would be the best time and era of shows for the band IMO. Also there is a band called VOLBEAT that would be awesome as well, I would really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart for you to do either of these two bands for a month of series.

it may be a metaphor to you but most of the lyrics are paraphrased from the bible, its pretty on the nose what the main meaning of the song is. i do see an argument to be made for your interpretation too, especially with some of the imagery from the music video
