I think it's so wonderful that everyone should love it, even if they won't admit they do. And, I think the humor it is brilliant. I just think people should get to know a few of the band's songs before trying this one, for the reasons you mentioned, so they have a better understanding of the band's overall work. You're completely correct that people need to loosen up.
