Uh, oh, spagettios Kristen!! Based on your reviews, my Sicilian grandparents are rolling in their graves. I am glad to hear that your eggplant is crispy. First, eggplant needs to be cut a little thicker than average and "sweated" out of moisture to prevent it from becoming limp and bodiless. Second, my family's secret, to lightly dip the eggplant into egg & lightly dredge it in flour to give it more body when frying it before assembling it into a Parmigian. The restaurant's pricing is either gouging or outrageous. Thanks for an honest review. Buono Appetito! ❤ See you for the next one.
I have to agree with the person who said you don’t need to apologize for your honesty. I as many others appreciate the truth! For the prices these Disney partners charge, there’s no excuse for frozen pasta and soggy, tasteless dishes! Keep doing you!
I’m convinced the restaurants in the Italy pavilion is there for less adventurous eaters because Italian food feels very “familiar” for a lot of families. I agree with you about the festival booths they are always disappointing and I’m always so surprised that they have such a long wait.
Kristen I am so glad to have found your channel!! Please don’t apologize for being honest in your reviews- there is not enough of that in the Disney space. Because of all your great info, we will be trying out Narcoosee’s for the first time on our trip coming up in just a few weeks! Thank you for all you do!!!
Kristen, I'm so disappointed Tutto Italia was always my favorite every since Epcot opened. I know all the way through the 90's the still made pasta on site, they had huge glass windows that you could watch them, it was mainly where they put tables with kids to entertain them during the meal!
Every trip to Epcot, we stop at Tutto Italia. We took our grandchildren and totally loved this visit the best. The kids loved their meals and the pasta and small meatballs were one of my favorite meals. Disappointed that my son and his wife had fast passes at that time. Everyone has different tastes and this is one of our favorite restaurants
Your honesty is much appreciated! I’ve always thought it soooooo disappointing that the Italy and France pavilions - the top two countries in the world for cuisine - have such bad food! For as much as Disney charges and the reach that they have, every restaurant at WDW should be excellent.
I was at Epcot yesterday and my kids and myself were walking around looking for you or Nate 😂. Wish we could have ran into you. My boys are 3 and 7 and love your videos
I really enjoy your channel and I appreciate your honest reviews of the food. I feel so bad that you spend all that money and you don’t enjoy the food ☹️ 😢 Hope the next place you visit will be delicious and have an enjoyable meal 😋 😀
Absolutely love your honest reviews. ❤ For Via Napoli, we absolutely LOVED their Manicotti. It was pure heaven. And we always like their pizza. Way back in the day, they used to have a really good lasanga, but that was years ago.
This is really sad because it's not difficult to make lovely Italian food. Simple ingredients done right. The Wine Country Trattoria in DCA is always a disappointment, too. Paying these prices you should be getting a special meal. Thanks for another great video! (I am a salt-oholic, so I carry a tiny container of Maldon salt with me)
I'm honestly shocked you dislike Via Napoli! Our family loved it. The service was Amazing, the pizza was delicious! Maybe you had an off day 🤷♀️ thx for your honest opinion!
When you pan through Tutto Gusto, my family and I were in the corner of your video, celebrating my daughter’s birthday by drinking around the world!! I wish I would have seen you! Your videos are awesome!! So excited to be in your video!!🎉❤🥳🎂🎁🎈🎊
We ate there last year and I have to agree with you! I’m critical of food flavors and presentation and I thought Italy would knock it out of the park but they didn’t!! I have to say I’m still a fan of France and Japan. My favorites will always be Monsieur Paul and Shiki sai
Appreciate these great reviews! We don't like tutto Italia either but via Napoli is a must do for us every year. The truffle pizza is incredible. Looking forward to your new review! 👏🏼
Hi Kristen! Yay another video. I was impressed to learn that Via Napoli imports their flour and water from Italy. I also appreciate that the crust only has 4 ingredients, so it's a proper crust! I don't eat pizza much, but I would try that, for sure.
I liked your review. The only comments I had was regarding the gnocchi …IF they were made in-house, it could be a more labor intensive item than a cut of swordfish. Gnocchi are generally pricier than other pastas for that reason. And they should be soft like pillows which is why your other comment confused me. Either way you didn’t enjoy them so that’s what matters! I haven’t been to Tutto(/Alfredo’s) in over 25-years because it always was overpriced for the quality. I have had better luck at Via but I’m due for a revisit there 👍
Kristen, I totally agree with you on dining at Tutto Italia. I ate there a few years ago with my mom and sister on the dining plan. Our meal literally tasted like chef Boyardee from a can. It was that bad. I thought that maybe it was due to us being on the dining plan but that didn’t make any sense. Anyway, thank you for your videos. You are so helpful to know the good places to eat and what to stay away from. 😀👍
Just wondering, did your server ask if you enjoyed your food and did you let them know about the lack of seasoning? We have eaten there a few times and enjoyed it but since then we have branched out to the nearby resorts for dining.
I have loved this series so much! It is also nice to meet someone else who is not a Via Napoli fan! We ate once in 2018 and had the worst experience ever. Like you said I could make way better meal than that and I dont get the hype around it. I wish Italy would step up their game, it could have the best food in epcot if they would
Thank you Kristen, there are so many choices in Epcot I don't think Italian food would be a top choice for us. We are from the Northeast and therr are plenty of great Italian restaurants near by. Appreciate your series on Epcot!
Omgggg, I’ve been waiting for this review LOL & I haven’t even watched the video yet but based on the thumbnail I 100000% agree lmfao we went there back in May and it was honestly a pretty bad experience. The service, the food, everything was not worth the price at allllll.
So unfortunate about the Italy Pavilion. It would be such a game changer to have fresh made pasta and better restaurants. I can't do much italian food unless I go to Little Italy. Obviously we won't get the quality from Italy itself, but bring chefs over and make it better. Disney has the money they can do it.
🎉your honesty is soooo appreciated!....heard Dosney is having many issues, peices too high on everything, people annoyed they have to be on their phones thus and parks not full...seems also the authentic people they would bring iver to cook or work in eaxh of the epcot countries were let go?!😢 Hope someday Disney returns to the magical authentic place it once was❤
Finally someone speaks the truth about this place! We liked the appetizers (calamari and caprese), but our entrees were just as bland and our server wasn't even friendly to overshadow the overpriced bland food. 😅 I rank it last out of all the places we've tried. 😅
I have been disappointed by the food in Italy as well. And i am Italian! It is nice that they provide complimentary bread service and I love the olive oil and balsamic combo dip. Thanks for the honesty.
Definitely agree with everything you've said about Tutto Italia... I don't like it at all. I am part Italian and going to Italy at Epcot is a big disappointment with Via Napoli being the exception. I do like their pizza. The sauce at Tutto Italia tastes like Chef Boyardee at best. I also feel like they should be serving freshly made pasta if they are going to be "representing Italy".
I ate at this restaurant a couple of weeks ago which was my 1st time at Epcot and I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the fettuccine which is supposed to be creamy alfredo sauce and when they served it, it looked like fettuccine noodles with an orange cheese sauce and it tasted like macaroni and cheese. I couldn't believe it! For $26 this is what I get! Everything that my family ordered was terrible. Our bill was way over $200. It was so bad and so expensive. I will never eat at this restaurant again. What a rip off! Thank you for your honest review of this place🙌🙌😞😞
@@DarkScaryOrdinary Have you ever eaten at Tutto Italia? You can look at photos and the dishes look great but tasting it is another story. My fettuccine dish actually was a pale orange color and like I said it tasted like macaroni and cheese! I'm not making this up! You need to go there yourself and spend the money and then tell me what you think!🤣🤣
Hi Kristen! It’s a bummer about the gnocchi, we ordered them at one of the festivals and we did not like them, we figured they are the same gnocchi, the ones we like are the ones they serve at Terralina 😋 The ricotta cheesecake looked absolutely amazing! 🤩 Thank you as always for your honest reviews 👍🏻
They don’t use a lot of salt or pepper while cooking, my grandmother who was 100% Italian cooked this way as well…however their should be at least more garlic, basil etc to make up for it!

KRISTEN!! I SAW SOMETHING AT THE CO-OP YESTERDAY THAT MADE ME THINK OF YOU! it was a cars land mug and my first thought was WHY ARE THEY SELLING THIS ON FL PROPERTY?? IS IT A SIGN?!?? We can only hope 😂 completely agree with this review btw, great vid as always 😊 sorry this comment is unrelated I just didn't know how else I could tell you about this on other socials without getting lost to the void 😅
They started selling some Cars Land merch in the Test Track gift shop as well. Fingers crossed we hear something next week about D23 regarding Cars Land at WDW 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
First of all, the Italy pavilion is the worst pavilion in the entire World Showcase. There is no attractions there at all. No ride, no short film, no nothing. I have never liked the Italy pavilion in all the years that I have been to Disney, which is well over 20 times. We ate at Via Napoli about 3 or 4 years ago and it was horrible! We waited well over 30 minutes for our pizza and it was the thinnest and soggiest crust that I have ever had. Honestly, it sucked. I told our server just how horrible it was and the fact that we had to wait more than 30-40 minutes after ordered, so he comped our entire meal. A $40 meal for free. I did tip him good though. I like pasta and especially pizza. But that pizza turned me off to ever wanting to eat there again. Your food review also convinced me to never eat at any Italy pavilion restaurant ever again. I mean if a "supposed" authentic Italian restaurant in an Italian pavilion cannot even make their own pasta from scratch for an authentic meal, and uses pre-made pasta just like what I can buy at Wal Mart, then it isn't even worth going to. Oh and not to mention the ridiculously high prices for such small portions. I don't care if it is Disney. Nothing is worth that kind of money just to eat. I am glad you didn't base your opinion on the entire meal just because the dessert was really good. I appreciate you being honest about the foods you try. You have helped me to know what and where to stay away from. Yeah I really can't believe how horrible the food is in the Italy restaurants.
Thank you for your honest review! What a shame. We love the Wine Cellar but have never eaten in the main restaurant. Sounds like this restaurant might be good for ppl with stomach issues and high blood pressure with the limited salt and spices. Lol.
I hope you packed up all that food you didn't eat and added seasoning at home and not wasted it.I think you save a lot of people from wasting money on bad food. Disney should pay you to private review for them of every restaurant so they can correct all their mistakes.
Traditionally Disney is known for under seasoning. Personally I haven’t been to that restaurant in over a decade and I did have a good dinner but I haven’t been back since because of menu changes. From what I hear I am not missing anything.
I’m not a fan of eggplant. I’ve had eggplant parm. Now I avoid nightshades (don’t want the solanine) so I pass up most Italian. I’d probably get the cheese and meat plate (if I had a buddy).
A little worried now about a Via Napoli reservation in a few weeks! Thank you for this series.. my vote selfishly for a next review would be Shiki-Sai - my daughter and I are hoping for dinner and a fireworks view next month. That would be a bonus if you could share if this is possible for seeing Luminous!
Go try it out for yourself! You may like it, a lot of people do! I have a review of Shiki Sai up on my page. I really enjoyed it there although a little pricey for sushi. I'll be covering it again for this series, hopefully I'll get to it soon.
I have never heard anything good about Tutto Italia so we have never bothered to try it. I’m glad the dessert was decent for you. Next time try taking your own salt from a quick serve place, sometimes that can make a huge difference. How can you NOT salt potato water when you cook?
I am sure they had salt & pepper in the back to give me. But I like tasting the food as it's prepared and quite frankly when paying about $30 for a dish of pasta I shouldn't have to season it myself.
I haven’t been to Disney in years but I’ve heard the food and overall experience is not what it used to be. Disney can keep suckering vacationers but I think I’ll forgo that experience
Also not a fan of via napoli. We had a haughty waiter who lied to us and also gave us a burnt pizza, the other two pizza's were not burnt,so yes people I know the difference. My chicken parm was horrifically dry.The side of spaghetti was reminiscent of any family diner But it was many years ago. I hold grudges.
I swear the fettucine alfredo tasted like pasta roni last time I had it & everyone at the table agreed. I've tried like the whole menu at this point. What's your go to order?
I know this review was not supposed to be funny. However, when you said you wanted to know if they even have salt back there because you are concerned I screamed!😂😂😂😂. Now whats not funny is you spending the amount you did on some food you did not enjoy. Thats really messed up. You do great food reviews and I enjoy watching them.
So I watched your review on via Napoli 😊 and I was like I absolutely love that place and I was so shocked that you didn't like it and I was going in June when I went there, I ordered the pizza that you had with the cantaloupe. Well for one thing I was by myself, I went on a solo trip something I've always wanted to do, and I sat there and sat there and sat there and finally the CM came over and asked for my order All I got was a single serving pizza still an expensive pizza and still sat Threr he didn't bring any water. Didn't bring any plates or silverware the pizza came he said did you want an extra or cheese for this or are you ok eating it like this? I was shocked. I was like no I'll be fine 😮and I'm telling you I was shocked how bad it was. It was not a good pizza whatsoever walked out very disappointed and said to myself while I should've listen to Kristen we're coming back again in June we live far away. We live up in North Dakota, so we come once a year and I told my husband well we won't be going back there. I feel so bad even saying that, but it was not a good experience and the food was not good.
Thank you for your review…..Disney pricing alone can leave a less than ideal taste in your mouth. $29 for gnocchi with no meat and sparse cheese….ughhhh…. Appreciate your feedback! 😊
Hi,Myself and husband are coming in oct from the uk , what restaurant do you recommend table service as it’s a special birthday.I am gluten free so any recommendations from anyone would be great .
The cost of your meal certifies the corporate greed that Disney has become. Those prices are obscene!! But someone has to pay for Bob Igers $100 million pay package . SMFH 😮
I’m curious, do you let the server know how you liked the dishes if they ask you or do you say everything was fine? For as much as they charge, they should know if things could be better!!
I love me some Disney but they are high pricing/low quality/bad experience forcing folks like us out. Just not worth it anymore. I’ll continue to live it through you though, so thanks bunches.
I agree with you on Via Napoli! I’ve eaten there twice the pizza is very subpar I would rather eat a frozen pizza than Via Napoli doughy no sauce pizza it’s just gross.
I’d be upset with pay $28 for a pasta dish that was not made in house! 😳 look at that portion size.😳 I mean, I know it’s Disney and I know it’s Epcot but come on.
I have never liked anything in the Italy pavilion...perhaps because I have actually been to Italy and the food is nothing like what they serve there in both quality and taste.
It's a restaurant. Do you ever ask for salt and pepper? Many people want to add it. It's not a given thing that a kitchen would add red pepper or salt. But I have never seen a place that doesn't have the shakers ready. I love your opinions. But I never see you ask any questions to the staff.
Tutto changed ownership few years ago. I think they are owned by Disney now or vice versa . It originally was very good authentic Italian, Now not so much. Bland for sure. I did not enjoy it at all last trip and even my teenager said meh.
I love your food reviews. However, wondering what you eat on a day to day basis when you are not reviewing food. Just thinking that would be helpful. Example... I love Prego spaghetti when I am not reviewing food. This would give a feel for if we share the same taste for food. Just a thought for another video. ❤❤❤
This is why you are my favorite. If it's not good, you say so. No sugar coating anything. I appreciate your honesty.

We have dinned at both of these locations but it has been YEARS! I have wanted to go back but there have been such mixed reviews to say the least.
Please do the other restaurants in Epcot like mission space and the one in living seas
I’m not a fan of eggplant. I’ve had eggplant parm. Now I avoid nightshades (don’t want the solanine) so I pass up most Italian. I’d probably get the cheese and meat plate (if I had a buddy).
I would get a fancy beverage the charcuterie and dessert
A little worried now about a Via Napoli reservation in a few weeks! Thank you for this series.. my vote selfishly for a next review would be Shiki-Sai - my daughter and I are hoping for dinner and a fireworks view next month. That would be a bonus if you could share if this is possible for seeing Luminous!
Go try it out for yourself! You may like it, a lot of people do! I have a review of Shiki Sai up on my page. I really enjoyed it there although a little pricey for sushi. I'll be covering it again for this series, hopefully I'll get to it soon.
@wrightdownmainstreet thank you.. we will keep it, I appreciate the insight! Was on the fence. (:
@wrightdownmainstreet ooh did watch your Shiki-Sai review.. we are so excited!
@@wrightdownmainstreet You are absolutely right. I’m always a little embarrassed to ask for it because some people become offended.
Always like your honest reviews on food, seasoning is way supposed to be a thing, this is coming from someone who’s training to be a chef
You should try the Beverly drink at club cool. Its delicious.
I've had it! It's so good, my fave
@@wrightdownmainstreet just kidding
I haven’t been to Disney in years but I’ve heard the food and overall experience is not what it used to be. Disney can keep suckering vacationers but I think I’ll forgo that experience
Also not a fan of via napoli. We had a haughty waiter who lied to us and also gave us a burnt pizza, the other two pizza's were not burnt,so yes people I know the difference. My chicken parm was horrifically dry.The side of spaghetti was reminiscent of any family diner But it was many years ago. I hold grudges.
Love ur vids but saying via isn’t good has me questioning the correlation to my tastebuds that your reviews provide😂
I swear the fettucine alfredo tasted like pasta roni last time I had it & everyone at the table agreed. I've tried like the whole menu at this point. What's your go to order?
@@wrightdownmainstreet to be fair ive only had pizza😂
You're right, for the prices they charge it should be an unforgettable experience! It is not.
29 dollars! YIKES Trader Joes style Gnocchi! Thank you for taking a bite out of your wallet for the team
I've never had a meal in Italy I liked🙈 it's really so sad. Something needs to get fixed.
The one piece of advice I give my friends before they go to Disney….don’t eat in Italy 😳 as a fellow Jersey girl I can say it’s just bad
Good advice 👌🏽
That certainly isn’t an Italian menu, pretty much what you get at every American-Italian spot outside Epcot
PS - I forgot to say love this series.
Now you see why its so empty in there Thanks for being honest
We ate there years ago and I remember it was just average. We'll never return.
There are far better Italian restaurants in Orlando, including Trattoria al Forno next door at The Boardwalk
Doesn’t the same restaurant corporate entity run all the food presentation in the Italy portion of Epcot?
Yes it is the same company! That company also operates Space 220 & Morimoto Asia
I have never liked anything in the Italy pavilion...perhaps because I have actually been to Italy and the food is nothing like what they serve there in both quality and taste.
So if I did the math correctly in my head that lunch for one person - which was not good - was one $100 with tip - disgusting
My daughters and I went there once. We will not go back. Food and service were both disappointing.
My service was fantastic, just the food was bad in my experience.
Tutto Italia is owned by the same restaurant group as Space 220 & Morimoto in Disney Springs.
Hey hey ❤
That swordfish doesn't look appetizing at all.
I love your food reviews. However, wondering what you eat on a day to day basis when you are not reviewing food. Just thinking that would be helpful. Example... I love Prego spaghetti when I am not reviewing food. This would give a feel for if we share the same taste for food. Just a thought for another video. ❤❤❤
I've thought about doing a what I eat in a day video! Maybe soon 😊
I agree with you! This restaurant sucks !
I have to agree with you Via Napoli was a big disappointment..
