- I'm back, i know I've been away a while but I'm planning to be back creating content. so i thought i would do a health update with my chronic illnesses. so i need a knee replacement which has been a really hard hit to my mental health.
I have a lot of decision's to make regarding the knee surgery and my heart failure, its hard to know what is the right choice to make
Oh Sam you been through the mill .You have really been missed on this platform it’s so nice to have you back just listening to you Is great content even if you can not do much at the moment give us weekly updates on your life and how your week has been would be nice to watch .i am just getting over a knee replacement it’s been 11 weeks but a long 11 weeks I am due my other knee done later in the year I should have had it done a few years back but had various other surgeries on my knees to try keep me pain free .I then decided in January that pain was taking over my life so had surgery I hope that the Steroid injection gives you some relief from pain this will then in turn improve your mental health as it has improved mine . Hi Sam, lovely to see you back and can l just say your hair and makeup is beautiful gorgeous lady. I had an accident when l was 43 and my ligaments in my knee snapped. They told me l was too young to have a knee replacement and it is something that l have had to live with and had wished it had been done. At the moment your heart is strong enough to go through with the operation. You are still young and a lot stronger than you give yourself credit for. The battles you face everyday and how you handle them is incredible. I know it is a very hard and emmotional decision but if doing it now gives you that extra time to make the most of your boys and move around maybe it will be worth it. I know it's tough, l suffer from mental health issues and these things that life throws at us don't make it any easier. Sending lots of hugs and very positive vibes. 🩷🤗🩵🤗 xxx
Hi Sam, Good to see you back, i had a knee replacement at the age of 49 a week before my 50th , im now 59 yrs old i will be 60 in january my surgeon told me that i was his youngest patient to have had a knee replacement and to be honest with you i havent looked back , im so glad i had it done , i suffer with my mental health too! i have also arthritis and just gone threw the menopause too which was a bitch ... Have miss you doing you're videos xx

Hi Sam welcome back i ve missed your vlogs. Firstly i would have the knee op. Living with cronic pain isnt good. Try not to focus on your heart to much just now .my grandson had a heart transplant at the age of 7 .in 10 years time heart research will be better and they might have invented something that helps you without the transplant. Video wise do your get ready with me, cleaning videos , talk about you weight loss journey, take care xx

Hi Sam,so good to see you. That is definitely alot to deal with. Absolutely speak to as many people as possible for advice. One day at a time is a all i can offer. Sometimes hour by hour. Write a positive and negative list about surgery.Sounds like the knee dr will help talk you through it.Has your gp surgery got a mental health nurse ? As maybe talking to them might help ?
Regarding videos do what makes you happy.Make up tutorials,Hair tutorials,Meals,how your losing weight,Goal plans ahead.

🥰🥰 my toes come out of the joints...its incredibly painful..I can manipulate them back into place myself...but jee wizz...I sympathise .....I also have fibro so pain is part of life for me ...your doing great to keep it together ....big hug xx

Hi Sam. I'm currently on the waiting list for rheumatology to be investigated for EDS. Sublaxing is awful, I get it a lot too and I'm keeping everything crossed that I can avoid surgery. I really feel for you, it really sounds like you've been going through so much. I hope things improve for you, I really do. I wish I knew what to say. Your hair is beautiful btw.

Great to see you back Sam; missed you !! I’m in the States and have rheumatoid arthritis and Fibromyalgia at the age of 44 but have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia since the age of 27. I’m so sorry, I absolutely understand your pain and depression because I to deal with the same. I always say to my GP and other doctors “just add it to the list” 🥺 I deal with guilt as well due to not being able play with my 7yr old granddaughter who we have custody of and I constantly think how her life will be in a free years because it’s not going to be any better. I will pray for you doll and know that your children love you regardless of it all ❤ lean on your family and friends who also love you dearly I’m sure and try to not dwell on what could be because we worship a loving/forgiving God and he may turn things around for the better. You and yours WILL be in my prayers 🙏🙌 I know from experience it’s hard; I get it !!! I’m having knee issues as well and have to get injections and they want to do back surgery as well but I keep telling them no. They added another med for the issues I’m having “joy joy” and I loathe having to take meds just to function. Hang in there dear and keep your faith 🙌🙏🙏😘😍

Oh Sam you've had such awful luck with your health in so many ways. Praying for pain telief for you and some good health too. If you order your food online you could fi a shopping haul video. Also it would be so nice to have an update on young Alfie.
So sorry to hear you are so poorly at this time. I had a knee replacement 2-3 years ago First the gp said I was to young. But when I sew the surgeon, he said he does knee replacements when they are needed. It’s not about age. It’s about quality of life and counting down the hours so when you can have the next lot of painkillers and also with the new technology and the quality of the knee replacements being a higher standard they last a lot longer, so I had my knee replacement and I don’t regret a day it is marvellous and that I mean I used to wake up in the middle of night of turn and I catch my knee and advert screen on me sleep so I would say go for it only on my personal experience. good luck 🤞🙏💐💐💐💐💐💝

Ive had 2 hip replacement by time 45, so i know where coming from and mine bone on bone. Best thing ever did and giving me a new life / life back. Final straw was going on holiday and having to be in a wheelchair at 42! So opted for the ops
I have been going through menopause and depression and arthritis in hips and leg painful joints and family health problems my daughter. My husband and my dad and my mum had mini stroke
I'm so sorry all my condolences darling my dad and hubby died close together I'm wishing them all a full recovery and all my blessings 🙌
You need to get yourself on pip so that you can pay someone to do your housework as you are struggling so much. Poor you hunnie I hope you get your knee replacement and your health picks up..

Hi Sam I have missed you been looking for you Know you were in a hard place and just won't to let you know we are there for you you look fab love the hair hope the boys are fit and well go and get that injetestion it will make a new woman of you glad the DR told you that they only last 10 years it also depends how much movement you get back in your knee I have had both knees done and only have 75% in both knees they tell you all sorts before you have it done you will be able to do this and that then after the op say oh yes that can happen please think LONG and HARD and try every pain killer before saying yes to the op wish I could come and give you a great big hug so sending you one now xxx

You'll come to the best decision Claire. Be gentle with yourself. The right approach for you will come. I myself have both total knee replacements. Not easy to go through plus was awake when getting it done. Do not regret for one second. What about decluttering get organised. Take care. 😊
I have bone on bone in both knees, so i know how painful. Ive had cortisone injections in both, one worked, one didn't. I now have a stress fracture in my left femur running from the joint up the bone for about 5 inches. Im now in a leg brace and possibly facing an op to.have a plate put in. Im 67. I know im going to need both knees replaced soon. I already have a hip replacement. I console myself with the thought that there are so many people worse off than me. I hope you feel more positive soon. Take care.
I have arthritis in both my hips. I have it severe in my left hip bone on bone. im housebound now cant go out alone as i cant walk or stand for long periods of time. when i go out with my husband i use a wheelchair. i dont let family or friends see me in my wheelchair. Im currently on the waiting list but the list is so high in my area. I want my freedom & life back! Im 49 been like this for the last 4 yrs!

Ive had alot of serious health issues and still do what you have to do love is not to dwell on things just take one day at a time and have a happy positive attitude theres always someone worse off than yourself and not only that your still here stop feeling sorry for yourself it doesn't do any good for your boys to see put a smile on that beautiful face and kick your depression and health to the kerb it aint gunna beat you ❤ xx

Lovely to see you back sam I love your hair do a shopp ing haul perhaps bake a cake but sit at dining table while doing it sam it's your body you have got to decide but if I was hou I'd have the op . I've had a cyst in the back of my knee the doctor said it's called a bakers cyst it went on its own a fingers crossed it never returns it was painful . I was 70 in may but feel 15 in head I've got arthritis spondylitis curvature of the spine and I've had an itchy rash for months so when I saw the doctor she gave me more stronger antihistamines and sent me for a blood test and i got a call of the doctor yesterday anc I've got an allergy he said cat hair grass pollon tree pollon well I've had a cat since i was 12 and it's not bothered me and the is no way I'm getting rid of our cat we had 2 but one went out before christmas and never came back love fran give my love to the boys by the wag how is alfie and fid Dylan go into catering love fran xxxxx❤❤

Oh no Sam I’m so sorry, I’m a few years older than you and I had same issues, instead of knee replacement they gave me the option of joint preservation injections since I was in my early 40’s and told me I’d likely need a new knee replacement surgery every 10 years. The injections are hyaluronic acid and it acts as a lubricant for the joint. I am in the U.S. so not sure the joint preservation is offered in the UK. The name of my injection is called Euflexxa you can search it up and maybe that could be an option. Good luck!

Sorry to hear your news. Why do you not get a mobility scooter, youll be able to whizz round loads of places and vlog. Have you looked at holistiic approaches to support your health. Meditation, Creative, arts/ craft vlogs, pottering about in your garden. How you suport your health and try and keep fit could be beneficial to others who have the same health concerns as you. Hi Sam I know how you feel I popped my calf muscle out walking 2yrs ago an it's had a really bad knock on effect iv now got to have a hip replacement iv had to stop working within the last 6mths I can't walk very far mines like yours bone on bone I'm constantly in pain. I'm now got to wait for an opp an that doesn't look like it's going to come soon I'm only 55yr old I feel your pain xx
The only way I could do that was if you had to do a little more work and I would be happy with it but you have a good point and I’m just saying that you can always just go to your friends and I can just go with them if they don’t have any other option I just want you guys can just do it ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉👍

Lovely to see you back Sam, even tho it's been a tough time, just wanted to say I've been going through this. Has a bakers cyst in the back of my left knee which ruptured and left loads of fluid and pressure in the knee ...painful don't even go there!! I've had 1 steroid injection 8 weeks ago and it has worked on the right side in the kneecap going back for a 2nd on the 17th July on the left side and hoping it may work like the right. Please try the injection first, I no it doesn't work for everyone but just thinking of you and the boys! Feel free to message of you want any support! Xxxx ps.
