Amen...THANK YOU "kudos" to Schüetzen/Swiss for supplying the American shooter with powder and caps! They have been carrying us for several years since Goex is gone. That is EXCITING!
I just wanted to say thank you for keeping us in the loop ! Your update is the only reason I was able to get my hands on some. My shooting season was almost over. Thanks, you ROCK !
I got lucky back in march and happened to be driving through California where in Fresno sportsman warehouse had some cci caps. I bought the 12 tins they had left for $6. ea.
CCI just came in stock at Bass Pro/Cabelas. I prefer RWS but can only find at Graf and Sons who have a high haz mat fee and a 4 pound minimum shipping weight
Hey you guys are very lucky as in the UK we have only a very small availability of 1055 at inflated prices but apart from one small consignment a month ago we are struggling.
Indeed we are grateful to Schuetzen/Swiss to keep our historic Love for muzzle loading, which honors our ancestors who’s shoulders we stand upon! Kind Thanks and Many Blessings! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania
I ordered another thousand since they were available. Without them, my percussion revolvers are just heavy paperweights. And I don't have the time or patience to try and make them myself. My question is where are the CCI caps? Don't get much information from them when you email them.
darn! I just picked up my shipment of 1000 CCI magnum #11 caps today. 0~o oh well, hopefully they go to those in need, and not be horded away. I match shoot twice a month.
Do you know where I can buy them in Cypress, Texas? I can’t buy them from the Internet with that Hazmat charge! I have a Pietta 1858 New Army 44 cal which I bought recently without knowing about the caps shortage. Very unfortunate for the black powder users. Thanks for your info, my friend!
What are some of the reputable distributors/retailers we should be watching for cap availability specifically? I got some CCIs from Academy with pickup in the store after ordering online.
I saw where the RWS #11 1075 are offered and also a RWS #1075 + are offered. I have an 1858 Remington made by Pietta. Which cap do I need to get for best fit ,the standard #11 1075 or the #1075+ ? Making an order in a few hours so I would appreciate a reply as soon as possible Thank's BY the way ,to hell with CCI for screwing over cap and ball and muzzle loading shooters all over the United States.
Hey Billy, sorry for the delay, UA-cam hid your comment from me. Either the 1075 or 1075+ should work fine for you. The only difference is that the 1075+ is a "Magnum" cap.
I am curious as to why you tube would hide my commeent from you? I have a Remington 1858 New model Army made by Pietta ,will I need to adjust the powder charge if I normaly use 30-40 grains of 3fff Swiss or Pyrodex P? Thank's
My father always joked that when he shoots center fire, he can hear the "ca-ching" of the cash register each shot. It's getting that way with muzzleloaders too unfortunatley.
@@ILoveMuzzleloading Cool thanks! I live in WV, no clue if that hoard will make it out here. Do you know if Bass Pro will get them? There is one nearby.
Do not purchase RWS primers from Midwest Reloads they will keep your money and not ship. If it seems too good to be true, it is. Also - they do not take credit cards which is a huge red flag. Purchase from known and trusted companies.

I ordered 1000 RWS caps in September 2021(in Germany). Got them last March. Well, at least for the old price.

Wonderful! That's why I do it! Keep your powder dry!

Appreciate the heads up. Have you anything about Remington caps?
Nothing formal about Remington Caps, I'm diggin' though.
The Wal-Mart stores are also putting out thier seasonal muzzle loader display now (july) which includes CCI #11 caps.
Thanks for the update
Thanks for watching Snapper. Glad it was informative.
👍👍 Thanks Ethan for this update and for all of your great videos that we appreciate.

Hoping to get some 4-Wing Musket caps for my Zouave and Smith Carbine.

I just did the exact same thing as you. Did you find any? If so how are the rws 1075 with a new model army?

Right, will they be at Bass Pro??
@@historyandhorseplaying7374 I was at the Katy, TX location yesterday. They had none in stock and no idea if any would come in.
Bass Pro will most likely get CCI caps, not these.
@@ILoveMuzzleloading Argh, where at then???
The Academy in Baytown shows limited supply in stock.
Thank You for this information. Keep up the good work...
So nice of you! Thank you
Haven't seen any number 10 or 11 caps here for a few years
Thanks, need to keep an eye out for 1000 for me.

Good video
Still looking for those CCI caps? Still looking, LOL.
Powder Valley $38 Plus shipping Plus Hazmat fee equals about $80 which I say no. I wait until I can find them locally.
Got to purchase at least 1000 caps to make it worth the cost online.
You said that a year ago.
The price is ridiculous…..:about 20 cents each…..primers are currently about 6 cents each….talk about price gouging…

7 months after this video there is still a major shortage
What size are they….? Am looking for #11’s
1075s are compatible with #11s.

And, in Europe?
If it was not for Schuetzen, a whole lotta folks would not be shooting right now1

I was thinking the same thing. Too many websites that don't take credit cards.
Hoarders gonna hoard.
Do you have a lot of experience riding?
@@historyandhorseplaying7374 many hours but I never really had instruction
I just wasted $400 on an 1851 Navy Colt. Thanks to all the jackoffs who can't get girls, so they horde caps instead.
I feel your pain.
Will RWS fit slix shots nipples?
The should. Slix shot website says you can.
