- Doing any major update to your RV electrical is tricky and stressful but doing while you are traveling only intensifies the experience. Luckily Renogy’s product are generally easy to use and install which made this possible. The New Renogy Rego 3000 watt Inverter Charger is amazing and provided incredible power to our system, able to run the AC, Microwave, Hair dryer or pretty much anything you can plug in to your RV. Playing the music really loud in comparison to your voice volume forces viewers to have to keep adjusting the volume when watching your video at night. Hard to do when busy doing other things.
and the song sucks
Watching the video, so far so good, however please decrease the volume of the music as compared to your talking. It's like twice as loud.
Very good video that I enjoyed very much. The only negative I had was is that in places the music is too loud and I kept having to turn the volume down on the video. As soon as you started talking then I had to turn the volume back up. Otherwise it's a great video.

Hi. What a lovely video the only thing I will say can you do your backing music level to the same as the rest -12DB as I 'm having to turn the sound output on my TV Up-Down-Up-Down lol. Would you be able to do a full list of you amazing setup Please??? I am finding it hard to locate the Buss Bars. I am from the UK and just started my electrics and I have chosen to follow your system. All the best

I can't wait until they release this unit into the UK market. As of yet they have no plans. I guess they are going to let their US customers carry out all the field trials, iron out any issues and then hopefully launch the revised unit into the UK and Europe. Love your set up, super neat.

Have you been able to test this feature. "In grid-connected scenarios, our system allows for coupling outputs, enabling a maximum output of up to 6000W". Can you take a situation where you are moochdocking on a 15 amp 12OV outlet and run a heavy load like an AC and not blow the breaker the 15 amp shore power and still charge the batteries when AC load is cycled off and yet share the the load between the shore power and the batteries when the 2000 watt AC is on?

How do you think the new inverter will go with AC compressor start up compared to the old one.
Also is it possible to do a short video describing how the airflow works with location of the vents and fans. Trying to work out if i can fit it but i can't get the recommended clearance and want to just mount a vent on the front of the lounge and use a fan to force airflow

It is a 240 Volt split phase inverter charger if you look at where I talk about hooking up the AC in and out wiring it shows that it has 2 110 volt hot legs, this inverter charger allows for 6000 watts of pass through voltage when connected to the grid and 3000 watts spit between hot legs when not connected to the grid

I know you are only installing in a 30amp system, but hopefully you can help me out since what Renogy told me twice when I called in doesn't make sense.
They are telling me you can only use this as 110 on 1 leg or 220 on both legs. You CAN'T do 110 on 2 legs. So if I have a coffee pot on leg 1 and microwave on leg 2 running at the same time it won't work. Does that make sense to you?
AC in comes from shore power but where is your AC out going? Is it tied to your RV electrical panel? Is your inverter powering your RV panel on both legs? I just bought this inverter and I'm trying to power my RV panel with solar and an on-board generator as backup.
Do you earth the inverter itself to the chassis ?
How long did you use the old unit for? Was it reliable? Im thinking on buying one but i see mixed reviews... thanks!
Great video, I'm in the process of purchasing the Renogy REGO 12V 3000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger RIV1230RCL-1SS for my 30amp TT. Wondering if i need to use an an automatic transfer switch, I know the inverter charger has one on board. any suggestions would be great.

If your getting the Inverter/Charger, it has the transfer switch inside the unit.
So does this, give an actual split phase, as in across the L1-L2 lines one gets 240vac?

I have not been informed of a product release date as of yet, I have some work to do with it still, just so you know it charges my 600 AH battery bank at 145 APH

you should have all that shiny metal on a wall so when you have a metal tool in there it dont fall and make pretty flashing lights then start a big fire

Does it power both legs of a 50 amp AC circuit breaker panel for 120v power when in inverter mode or only half of the circuits like the AIMS Power PICOGLF3K12050BY? In other words, can all AC circuits of the RV run in inverter mode like the Victron Multiplus II 2x120v Inverter/Charger?@@Stranded-N-Paradise
@@manuelmorales3923 When wired as a 240 Volt 50 amp system it does supply power to both legs it splits 25 amps to 12.5 amps per leg on the 240 volts system, but still only 3000 watt
