- It was at this moment....Lol. I'm simply shocked by the performance and durability of this awesome design. Was hoping to mount my GPS, but plans changed. Stock 18T is plenty fast. This is a mix of street and skatepark footage. The low stance and wheel mass can limit terrain options, but it's a versatile street bashing Beast with wicked speed. Big shout out to ARRMA for another brilliant design. Thanks to Voltage Hobbies, M2C Racing, and Fast Track Hobbies in Rocklin, CA.

@@williamperri3437 I've pulled it with both my Outcast and Kraton 👍. I'm just thinking it might not be possible with the Infraction 👀. It doesn't have the spring or wheel mass to load off and rotate off of the arch 🤔. I could pull it if I did an Infraction MT conversion perhaps. 👀😎💪👊👊

Those pesky little rocks, always causing problems lol. A friend of was doing a speed run video with his Infraction and also had range issues with his. Great skate park run. I was on an RC livestream after had received this truck and there was a couple of haters that were upset that Arrma had sent you this truck. I hope they watched this video and if they haven't I will remind them lol. That was a killer run and great driving. Keep up the great work 😎👍

You have been running their vehicles for a long time and have worked with a few other companies to make them even more durable and better vehicles. I personally was stocked to see what you were going to do with it and you didn't disappoint 🤘
It is rather strange that a car with the speed of this truck range issues. Not sure if you saw Tony's (CCXRC) speed run attempt, but the range issue was pretty bad and concerning to me.
Exactly ppl are jealous b..... And arrma horizon arent fools , ik i wiuldnt dared messed with rtrs like ive done with arrma if it wasn't for likes and styles of rich showing what arrmas are capable of as for the radios the tactics were also a selling point for me as i liked having a seperate radio per rig and quality whole package for 500 coukdnt be beat but now back to way things used to be rtr radios stink and going spend money or enjoy the hobby proper going have get good radio and nothing compares to futaba imo

You won't have the range issue with the Radiolink RC6GS. Best radio for the price. You'll run it out of sight before you lose range. Great vid bro! Awesome control in the skate park too btw. Best Infraction video out!

@@richduperbash2966 I've just done a test of the radiolink 6ch RC6GS, it's like 5-600m range - that's so much you will struggle to even see the car! Or the DumboRC from banggood 6ch is also good with 500m range, both have built in gyros AND ABS braking (No more washouts or high speed swerves into the curb under heavy braking!)

First time I've watched this beast and I have to say now I don't know. I was all set to pickup the 6s Kraton but now not even sure. This truck is more beast than my Talion and I've beat it to death and brought it back 3 times now. The speed is unreal! I can't believe you went through two sets of tires, especially the dboots. That's the first set I've ever seem bald. I guess I'm not running mine hard enough! LOL. You're a epic driver Rich and that truck in your hands is like watching a Master artist Paint. It's just a thing of beauty. I loved the truck cam footage that thing flies and so does the Kraton on the BMX Park. Great job.

Just a different kind of animal altogether. The speed and handling is really something special. The stock Hoons are Killer tires👌. Still have plenty of meat on them despite hard drifting...etc. I couldn't recommend the Duratrax ones after this quick test 🤣🤣. The wear was much faster than I expected 👀. Maybe for just lighter neighborhood running. I'm just totally stoked about what ARRMA has put out this past year 😜. So much variety and solid engineering!!!! 🍻🤘🤘😎💪👊👊
That might be my favorite skate park footage ever. Usually it's just super-edited stuff with trucks flying way up in the air and then cutting to a perfect landing. This was more like watching someone a skateboard rip it up.

I honestly thought the gap might be possible, but realized afterwards (even with optimal pace and throttle) correcting to make the transfer wouldn't work out 😝. The limited suspension and wheel mass just isn't enough to make that rotation😱. She's an incredible rig regardless and ARRMA should feel proud of this durable, ultrafast design. Do you think that chattering noise at the start was the diffuser with the rock in it, or does the front splitter or body tap the ground when it starts to slide? I love how it just clears the debris off the road as it goes, what a great sense of speed and being right there from the on boards! It looks really smooth at the skate park. I am so excited to see your next move with this vehicle, awesome video again man!
Thanks so much Brother 👊!!!! I think I was drifting over pebbles and debris, but that little rock definitely lowered that rear left corner and altered the handling by raising the arm slightly. The uneven tire wear and handling change was the clue 👍. The splitter screws do scrape off the ground as designed with ramp hits and hard nose compression. This rig is a Beast in my eyes 😱. Such a wicked, versatile design. 🍻🤘🤘😎💪👊👊

Thanks so much Ed😊!!!! I'm still shaking my head about it 👀. Bent outer hinge pin and wheel only 😱. The body is doing fantastic 👌. No cracks or signs of damage at all. They used a thicker lexan and the bracing and roof skids are genius. This rig was really designed solid Brother. Appreciate the kind words my friend 🍻🤘🤘😎💪👊👊

It does look at home in the skatepark but lack of suspension not an issue? You kinda think somethng has to give e.g. chassis bend or a shock tower snap in the long run. Nice video but I'll be keeping mine on the ground, I love Ferraris but I'd not go off road in one, hope that makes sense? Video comes out well and the skatepark footage is excellent.
Thanks Richie 👊!!!! It felt pretty low slung at the skatepark 👀but I'm impressed it could lock 50/50 grinds, handle transition, and do smaller jumps nicely 👍. This design is incredibly solid. Not saying it's unbreakable of course, but the mix of metals and key plastic supports truly locks together great for nice energy absorption 💪. The towers are ultra protected and compact arms make for a stout speed Beast. 🍻👍👍😎💪👊👊

So you have the stock esc and no fan on the motor in Cali and your not getting any of these thermal protection problems that everyone talks about? I was under the impression you needed to immediately swap the esc for a max 6 so I’m glad to see this

@@richduperbash2966 Dwight is awesome. I miss them at the old location, closer to my house, but I still make the trek. Not as much these days now that my rigs are built out. Wouldn't have gotten this far in the hobby without their help, they were my counselors when I made mistakes.
I think your back right tire wore out faster than the rest because you turned one direction more than the other . And it could use a lil wieght throughout a lil Deon Force in the front but still some weight in the rear to keep her on the ground?. That looks amazing great job on the video
Thanks Brother 👊!!!! These cheap Roadrunner tires don't last long drifting hard on 100F+ pavement 👀. That wheel wore due to the pebble between the A arm and rear diffuser. It caused the arm to jamb upwards slightly shifting more weight on that side. The wear was my clue to check my droop and discover the issue. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Holy cow rich leave to you do the things i dont have kuhunas to do with my first road rig 😆 still waiting for my infraction said beginning july where are we ? Thanks for those part numbers too you really are best for advice for me at the least tower sending me new diff after waiting on hold all morning the kid had me stuttering bc it was like willing give me one part wvr part bc that point i was rambling all things ive broken how much i spent on arrmas lol jist of it ofcourse its our faults if pushing rigs to limits gearing them up just got frustrated with prematurely stripoing ring gear quincadence right after i done diffs on my older rig gets hard keep all rigs running good at the same time as we always borrowing parts right? I guess nieve not to have spares if we going run 6s hard do you always get longevity out of your diffs or is it hit or miss sometimes you get lucky last long time more ring and input ive. Yet to wear the internals on any of my arrmas 3s or 6s just input i did just wear input on granite but i tell you if i had logged run time be a record for sure i ran it almost every day almost year very convienant and have no excuses not bash daily hone my skills 😆 still ways. I think my brother would enjoy the infraction, but they still have to work out the over heating issue. If I got this for my brother I would definitely put a smaller pinion on it to keep the temps down. My brother isn't much a Ford fan and the infraction looks like one. I think he'd get over it, he's into lowriders. He's got a Dodge ram on air ride for his full size. Another thing is he needs to learn some throttle control. He's got a Stampede 4x4 with a Hobbywing brushless conversion and it is FAST! Nearly as fast as my UDR in a very short wheelbase. I can totally see my brother destroying the infraction with his lack of throttle control. He likes racing his gfs Rustler and he can't seem to ease into the throttle. He goes full tilt right out of the gate. I got him a new boat about a week ago and it's 6s capable (actually more like 12s technically). It is a ProBoat Zelos, has two ESCs and two motors each running 6s. He hasn't run it yet, and I'm worried about how it goes knowing his lack of throttle control. The Zelos out of the box will do 65 but will do 85+ on stock electronics with a new prop. I'm waiting to see if the local hobby shops pick up more Arrma spares and to see if they figure out a better idea to keep it cool. At least cooler than being on the brushless redline as far as temps go.
Throttle control goes a long ways 👍. I haven't experienced the heat issues or thermal shutdown like others on UA-cam. I gear all my rigs to about 150F motor and about 130 ESC. Every rig I've ever driven wide open has heated up. This one has done great with stock 18T pinion despite 90F+ ambient temps and full throttle passes. I'm honestly more concerned about the radios range. Probably switching controllers soon. 🍻😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 Yea, Spektrum doesn't have the best range, but are typically a high quality/nice feeling transmitter. The ProBoat has a Spektrum DX2E. It's got enough range for me, at least on the water. I also have a DX5C that I haven't used yet. I hear Futaba has the best range but haven't tried any of them. They seem to be fairly cheap to, but look to be expensive. I know RC Sparks uses one that cost him about $300, but I'm not quite that into the RC game, at least not yet. I've purchased 15 RCs but I only have 5, the others were for my nieces, brother, and other relatives.
What sort of distance is that parking lot? Looks very smooth. I need a good spot to run and willing to travel for it...

I'm not certain on the distance, but it's pretty big . Far enough to lose good sight of your rig 👀. Only issue here is timing during the summer months. Folsom Lake is a destination. It's kind of the beach for Sacramento. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Oh how about conversion jt did ive been chomping at the bit myself waiting for infraction could be the ultimate platform imo just like Eric had said if mc2 makes the 4mm chassis he be all over it 😀 me2 it would be a nice piece of work. For sure maybe even a challange to duplicate air scoops but i. Guess could opt to just build to just same length and more designed for offroad or jumping but sounds good that air pull and plant car better before liftoff

With your experience, which upgraded shock springs have you settled on over the years for your kraton v6 builds? Do you still use/like the stiffer orange tekno springs? In both front and rear? Also what shock oil thickness do you now run with whatever your preferred setup is? What shock oil thickness is needed for all four shocks if orange tekno? I just bought the orange tekno springs front and back. Is that going to be over stiff? Should I have gone yellow on the rear, or stick with the stock springs? I'm running basically stock springs and oils on my V3-V4 setups👍. The newer ARRMA spring rating is higher than Tekno Orange. Shock setup is a highly personal deal. Depends on preference, vehicle weight/mods, and terrain. The M2C ARRMA bladderless shock caps and O-ring pistons I've been testing are going to be a nice option for less after bounce and smoother handling. I did find Tekno Orange in the rear was stiff in my previous set-ups, but that was before the M2C chassis's or newer 4mm ARRMA shocks. 😎💪👊👊

Im going try putting thin pieces plexiglass on the undercarriage , at least where it slaps , thinking right thickness and countersinking holes to match the chassis would protect and work good be effective and look cool before being scratched up

That was crazy, but honestly I don't think I was that surprised, considering on this new chassis, all those additional lengthwise bends along the center have to add additional rigidity even though it is the same thickness as the original chassis' throughout the 6s line (well at least I think it is, 3mm still, right?).
