Just got 1 2 weeks ago. Buying parts an upgrades immediately. I am ordering new ESC next week .. an a bunch of the things he recommended. Deciding on which new controller to buy. Most likely the radiolink....

Good job Ritchie. I’ve taken a lot of advice from you on my build, and it rips. I’ll be going for JJ customs speed record soon 😬. Another thing I was thinking for your content, what about doing some viewer builds. I have about 40 that all have something done to them, and I can meet you at JJ,s to have you look at them and drive them. I hit you up before and you told me to hit you up on Facebook, but I don’t use social media other than UA-cam lol. Maybe I can give Marvin my contact info and you can get it from him? Adjust the brake setting before you let it turn a wheel. Set it to max. As the stock setting willl have you in tears by the end of the day. Search my videos on the infraction for the ‘one’ thing to do with an infraction and I show you how to adjust it

What shock oil is best, the manual I seen calls for 2000 cst , which I only seen 2000 CST in deff oil, is that what I use?

Darren sadly it won't the car has the new IC5's as standard, however they will work with the older Blue EC5's. Hope that helps a bit

Just got mine on the road for the first time yesterday, WOW!!! 59mph first run out of the box with stock everything! Your10 points were right on mate. I have number 11, don’t bother with anything carbon fiber, breaks the first day, all of it🤬

Hi I have switched from the stock 30k to 50k - stops the spoiler hitting the ground under braking without having to stiffen the suspension if that makes sense
Has anyone put the Limitless spool in their Infraction yet? What was your results after doing so? Thinking about it 🤔 myself.
I have a JJ customs spool fitted in my 8S one. It helps at speed yet doesn't limit it's drifting ability at all. JJ Customs offer them with a wide range of gears (And you can change them) they ship worldwide as well

With the castle esc are you running the stock motor
Hi I was running one poseidon 1800kv motor (Good for 8s all day long). With the stock motor and the XLX esc you can run packs back to back on 6s without ANYTHING overheating. Now running 2x8s setup, twin 1800kv motors and twin XLX's on twin 8s packs. Burnout video coming out tomorrow. Would have shot a lot more but really hurt my back, fell over my cat in the dark in the garage!
I've been having center driveshaft problems so far all 3 horizon sent me just keep oscillating badly and causing me to spin out
and that's a 90 min wait for each call you make to them! Have a look on the facebook as someone is now making thicker shafts (needs new cups as well) that don't oscillate, I've not had a problem but i know the problem that you describe does exist particularly with speed run builds

The desl breaker for me its the tires going to get really expensive
Surchaufeur true but that’s the only down side. I’ve own monster off road trucks and to be honest infarction is one of the most reliable RC cars. Because handling is so good that they don’t flip like other RCs. But then again it’s all about how fast you drive.

lol mate your esc solution is not a solution its a complete change and not a cheap one , if i am to buy this car for the price they are asking i have to be happy with it out of the box or buy something that is capable out of the box ??
If you buy this car out of the box it will overheat the stock esc. I didn't manage more than 10 mins run time (8-9 mostly) before stock esc overheated. Appreciate my 'solution' isn't cheap but with the XLX fitted you could run on 6s back to back packs all day long. If you don't upgrade the esc then this purchase will bite you and No you won't be happy with it out the box, or you will for 10 mins, then as the power grows on you an you 'give it some' it'll overheat. I bought two of these, and within the 1st week both stock esc's had burnt out. I am not alone in this happening.

i have just bought the mojave and i took it out , it was ok for a few mins then started going slow like as if i had it on 3s ??
i switched it of and switched it on and it was ok for another few mins then same thing happened again !!
im not sure if this is same as you but i think it could be my batteries as the resistance is quite high on them and it could be that they are not able to give their C rating anymore, what do you think yourself is this same as yours or do you think this could be my batteries ??

I predict the electronics on the new 8s Kraton will be its weakness as well. Arrma is chasing the big dogs and don’t quite have the resources as of yet.
I think you've hit the nail on the head, I wonder when they are released to the masses how long it is before that esc becomes an issue. I'm going to spend some of the money on upgrading the 8s infraction to 16s instead and may get and xmaxx on black friday instead!
Driftomaniacs I want a rc car that’s fast but can handle well when going full throttle or hitting a corner. I find it dumb to pay 800$ for a traxxas as that does wheelies and spins out of control.
Money isn’t a problem so if I’m looking into paying 600$+ for a rc car. What other car can I get that’s really fast out the box and handles good?

The most important thing with this truck being a owner of few arrma is the center did is garbage once U upgrade which they sell them on eBay round 100 bucks make a life of a difference

Did JJ customs move out of the area or did they become another covid 19 business victim?
Well they actually closed to expand to a bigger store about 3 weeks before CA got shutdown, and they've not re-opened as yet but I think they are still taking orders on line, the fastest way to contact them is via instagram not email so I'm told. I think they will open a larger store after covid. But they planned to close for a month pre-covid
Invest in a good mic man!!! All your videos are unbearable coz of the terrible audio exacerbated by that room you are in. It’s terrible coz I do want to hear what you have to say.
I have over the past year spent around $300 on so called good new mic's. Interesting all my videos are unbearable sound wise, as they're filmed on about 4 different cameras though from SLR's to iphones to gopro7's and fusions. I do value peoples feedback but when I play the audio this end it sounds clear, even on this video. I'm all for improving the sound but when I've just played back the whole of this video it's crystal clear at my end. All suggestions welcomed, but fed up of wasting money on so called 5 star rated mics only for people to say the sound's bad.
