not only is the 1-frame picture at around 7:59 really creepy on it's own, It is made more creepy by the fact i found it literally impossible to freeze frame on!
***** It could be a reference to the failing timeline, where it is showing up in the future, present and past. That WAS the start of the universes destruction, after all.
This may be the saddest KSP video I've ever seen. The cinematography and sound are stunning, as always, and the animation of the warp ship decompiling was amazing. Great job. One thing I don't understand, though, is why the Vall ruins shot down the warp ship.
Apparently some alien device on Vall was putting out massive amounts of energy and the Kerbals found a way to harvest that to power warp drive. Or, that's how it seemed to me.
Nassault Okay. That makes a LOT more sense. I thought you were going to Minmus to warp to Jool to warp ?back? then... crash the universe? It was very confusing.
Wow, this is breathtaking.. When the ship starts tearing apart as the universe shuts down, you reminded me a lot of a show called Code Lyoko, when the virtual world shuts down.. I'm glad that you share a similar view, it was spectacular! Honestly one of my favorite things that you do are the sound effects in your films, especially with the warp drives.. I wish they did that in game. It needs to be more dramatic. Great, great work, and I can't wait to see your next project!
Sky Box really adds the cinematic imagery effects lacking in KSP. I'm a real fan of your cinematography instincts and your blocking so I have difficulty watching your videos with a critical eye - I simply like every thing you do to record your vision. It's good to see you incorporating your own 3D constructs to tell your stories. Most folks don't understand the labor involved to produce even ten seconds of animation when you do it from scratch, but that's OK, the audience enjoys your images and that's why we do what we do ;) . The particle effect is a brilliant idea. There's one science minded philosopher on UA-cam that believes we live in a digital universe - he would love this. Being from an older generation, I appreciate the nod to Arthur C. Well done overall. Keep it up!
And in that moment; as the universe became undone before his eyes he saw it… everything. Every star, planet, rock and molecule in the universe revealed its existence to him. Numbers, it was all numbers stuck in a divine dance of calculation that defined the universe that he had known. It was terrifying yet beautiful to see the very building blocks of the universe in their most basic form, and to know that everything; even himself was nothing more than the result of a calculation done by a mind that he could not hope to comprehend. In in that moment he could see that he had been here, at the very moment the universe ended before his eyes countless times before and that he would be here countless times more. If he could only remember it, or just remember a fraction of what he had seen in this brief moment; the beauty of it all, and what might very well be the meaning of everything, then perhaps he could change it, perhaps he could-
I still find it amazing how you get me to shed tears and sprout goosebumps from just watching video games about little green men in space. You have a remarkable talent.
This is my favorite Kerbal video ever. A reddit user found it for me again where I had lost it, so happy to watch this again. I shared it with our console community too, every ksp player should watch this beautiful creation, and I wish they would have finished up and included the story for the game still to this day. Thank you for making this.
Beautiful indeed. Thank you for sharing Nassault. We all appreciate these curious, unique, and odd yet beautiful pieces you produce. -_I'll Be Watching._
Wow! That was fast! I don't think I've ever seen someone film and edit something of such high quality in that short amount of time! Great job nassault!

Movie idea, a cinematic history of Danny's world destroyers, solar system busters, kraken encounters and with Kirrim, the sole survivor of Danny, viewing all that has bedone in attempts to worship the Kraken and the so many trys to destroy Kerbal kind by the all powerful Danny. Nassault cmon, why did i see the comment after trying to read
There's a certain reason I subscribed a year ago, the way you add drama and story to the game to make such an amazing video is just amazing.
Rarely do I enjoy watching the fourth wall collapse. But you do it so beautifully Nassault. Great video, well worth the wait.
I just now realized you used Echus by Boards of Canada!! Btw thank you so much for introducing me to that hand through your beautiful films.
:)

I try
Nassault Thanks for the video, it was beautiful! Eyes got a little wet at the end :
Believe what you like but please refrain from bashing user beliefs on my channel. In the end we are all the same
Nassault I disagree. We are all different. The choices we make and the lives we effect different each individual.
What? The monolyths on Vall are a mass relay?
not only is the 1-frame picture at around 7:59 really creepy on it's own, It is made more creepy by the fact i found it literally impossible to freeze frame on!
its a pic of the spaceship. it's just one single frame. most likely an error. imgur.com/MCCUtRa
oh ok, i though it might have been the kracken or something!
Half1ife77 It's placement seems deliberate to me. But maybe it isn't. Nassault ???

Nassault Okay. That makes a LOT more sense. I thought you were going to Minmus to warp to Jool to warp ?back? then... crash the universe? It was very confusing.
Tecknitian
Vall and minmus are practically the same in appearance but when you can see jool, it's vall.
i am unsure as to what that was about, but i feel like the quality of my life has improved for having seen it
That is what art should do
Nassault What mods do you use to achieve these fantastic graphics?
Wow, this is breathtaking.. When the ship starts tearing apart as the universe shuts down, you reminded me a lot of a show called Code Lyoko, when the virtual world shuts down.. I'm glad that you share a similar view, it was spectacular!

Great! :)
Nassault Where has these videos been there are freaking amazing!
@@Nassault god knows if youre still willing to answer, but what is the cockpit? i am absolutely in love with it
Loving the bits of output_log and crash logs scattered about. Really adds to the fourth wall breaking. Rareden's renders look amazing as always.

This remains the greatest KSP cinematic yet made. I find it to be indescribably beautiful and profound. Thank you, Nassault.

Nassault Yes, yes you do. :D
Nassault Holy Kraken I cannot tell you how much I want this. Please for the love of space do this soon.
That was awesome!, I loved that explosion, the way the clouds moved over the surface of vall was really cool.
I love the music! It goes fantastically with the video. Which is, needless to say, superb.
God damnit Nassault! I told you to stop breaking the fourth wall!
As long as danny breaks the game I will follow
Nassault Omg we need a video about his new planet destroying device!
Nassault T+2
You must be the soul.

ALL HAIL THE DEEP SPACE KRAKEN DANNY! (also nassault)
Wow, this Flick brings some deep thought with it.
Kerbals discovering them as beings inside a game.
What are we?
Great question, I myself often wonder "why?" rather than "how?". If a tree falls in the forest
Nassault
"Why" comes before "how" Like in "Why are we here and how is that even possible?"

Who would've thought a game crashing would be so emotional...
Danny! What did you do?!?
Its the same every time.... it hits right there "points at heart" Every.... time.......
You really know how to do this...... really....
Once again an amazing work from Nassault. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
thank you sam
Nassault... will you just direct a REAL MOVIE!!! I love this stuff.. the music, atmosphere.. everything... very talented dude..
I'm sure Nassault wants that but he needs a producer immediately
At the end I almost stood up and started clapping. In my room. By my self.
