100%. I bought and really tried to like VTOL. But the controls are SO JANKY because you have to use the VR controllers which means if you have helmet mounted sensors, as soon as you look away from your hands, the aircraft doesn't know what the pitch or throttle setting is anymore. TERRIBLE DESIGN. Even if they didn't want to support HOTAS(a flight game that doesn't is LAZY, that's no excuse) they could have added basic controller support, VERY easily. The fact that their customers are screaming for some controller support and they absolutely refuse has made CERTAIN that I won't buy any future titles from them. Not sure why they hate their customers so much.
@@freighttrain7143 The whole point of no controllers is to make VTOL VR more accessible. But I get what you mean. What I don't get is your throttle going janky when you move your head. How? Throttle is controlled by your left hand. Serious question Edit: I see it now: helmet mounted sensors. You need a set with base stations
@@Vlamyncksken 1. Providing the VR controller based controls for Accessibility is fine. That doesn't prevent you from ADDING HOTAS support. One does not exclude the other. 2. On many new headsets, the sensors are on the headset. In fact, my Quest 3 does not even have to option to buy a base station set to go with it. Or I would, for this exact reason.
Yeah I highly suggest giving the new update a try especially with the new economy built in makes it more satisfying when landing at base for the successful sortie
that will never see the light of day, but you can steer them from the map. simply select a ground or naval unit and right click somewhere to send it there.

to be honest it didn't have a single thing due to what the devs did to the game it's more to do with how the updates from TrackIR that effect the TrackIR itself and how they recognize the game
@@Justa_Normal_Gamer TrackIR works in all the other games/sims I need it for.. Its unreliable in Nuclear option. So if TrackIR changed, why do the others games not suffer the same issues?
its very mixed between sim and game, all of the physics are realistic but procedures are very simplistic. you can use m&k or any joystick, including your standard xbox controller (how i play)
I personally use a xbox one controller but there's plenty of joystick compatibility and even some players swear by using Keyboard and Mouse (I can't for the life of me😅) but the game really threads the needle between Sim and Arcade feel like just enough Sim you need to think a little about what you want to do and Arcade enough where you don't need a 500 page manual on how to start the aircraft up and use it properly
Now all I want is VR support. I love VTOL VR, but a flight sim that is easy to play, but still a flight sim is something I want in my life.
They have it on their roadmap for things to implement

the 250kt nuke is actually horrifying lol I love it
@@trashcompactorYT facts
I want I 5 megaton nuke
I don't even play the game.....the soundtrack.....dude. Great stuff.
The songs are actually for DCS. Heatblur modules come with sound tracks and the first is for the F-4 and the second is the F-14.
These aren't the actual songs for the game but if you head over to Shockfront Studios channel they have the full sound track for you to listen to
this content is underrated, you deserve more views!
woww, cool update
The ifrits nickname is Mr flat spin
I hear that Ricktohfen. This update looks pretty good though, definitely want to get the game sometime soon.

Hope they add drive able tanks and other vehicles too if that makes sense

@@vincentvoncarnap they can borrow controller from assets store
They already have models for ground vehicles so it can be done only if the devs want

The mushrom clous needs to get better, the texture are giving a aspect of a smoke bomb than an actual nuclear mushrom

yeah, and it feels different as well and of course in a good way as well
Looks like a space flight sim (ie. X-Wing).
