Yes, a very nice treat for a Sunday afternoon. Thanks for the video. Did you see Scott Manley's recreation attempt? He accidentally predicted what would happen when his grappler failed. Some called him a prophet, but most called him a jinx.
lol I made a satellite mod for KSP that has a "ksa" logo on a folding dish. It's called BoxSat for anyone who is interested. Although currently it's on a bit of a dev hold due to some medical stuff I'm going through. Great vid Nassault.
Oh my god Nassault, that was really great! Thank you! Somebody with a twitter account has to tweet that to Emily Baldwin! (@AstroEmz She's part of the Rosetta media communication team) (And you did remove that folding of the solar panels before hibernation :-) )
i like how you added the mysterious sound that is emitted by the gravitational force of the comet after the Rosetta probe rendevous with it it the beggining of the video
"Risotto & Fillet", hahaha - loving the name! I enjoyed watching this recreation and I though the bounce on the lander was a nice touch considering the Philae lander did that too. By the way, does anyone know if Philae has re-gained power or if it's still in deep hibernation?
Nassault Hey, I think I know where you get some of your music from it's called The Music Bed anyway if you don't use it I highly recommend it to you. Also your videos are awesome I started watching when you did ksp videos and loved them! Looking forward to see what you do in the future. :D
Hey bass what mods do you use and what texture pack to you use for e.v.e also use the cool and hot rockets mod it will go great with the cinematic shots
Unfortunately, Philae has been shut down forever. Rosetta's mission ends later this month. Farewell to the Philae lander, which now lies frozen on comet 67/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, after only 60 hours of experimentation.
This beautiful masterpiece. Oh my gosh. You succeeded! Ever since I saw the headlines that Philae had said hello again after landing, I've wanted to replicate it in KSP... What mods did you use? Because I really REALLY want to do some stuff like this.
Hey, could you put the mods you use for each video in the description of them? Some of them look really good, and I don't know how to find them besides curse.com
While I like that your showing variation, I didn't like the music in this one. It was too... earthy? I feel like space exploration should have more electronic or alien music, to match the modern/unknown setting. If everything was filmed in game (apart from minor tweaks) then where did you get 67p from? Rescaled FSA rock, or is their a mod already? Congratulations on getting this out so soon.
Thanks, I originally did have spacey tracks, but I scraped them due to the fact I feel like I have done that to death. Plus the Earth tone was, for me, a connect between this mission in game, and the real one, that was controlled from Earth. Giving it a subconsious tie to mankind, and trigger reflection that we actually did this, while watching the video, rather than after.
Nassault Doing something new like using different music is always a hit and miss thing. Some will like it, some won't. I felt it was strange, but it didn't destroy the atmosphere of the video for me.
FYI, good movie... however... (sorry, you knew this was coming).... ARCTIC is NORTH Pole.... Antarctic is SOUTH pole.... so... ARCTIC and then SOUTH Pole is wrong.... BUT.... who cares.... right? This is Kerbin....they do things backwards there.... :) Again, good movie.
I am in love all over again watching your videos. Nostalgia 100%! Never change!!
Yay! That was wonderful! What a cool tribute to Rosetta/Philae.
I just cried because of the awesomeness of this and the name of the Craft.
Spectacular Video. Camera shots at 5:42 and Sun moving over the comet at the end really added to the detail.
Thanks Colin
beautiful, I watch it from France and I love what you do (and I am not the only here ; ) )
Fantastic homage to Rosetta. Also, keep up the good work, these videos are fantastic.
You've really improved over the years, Nassault. This is just so amazing.
I love how you use the actual sound of the comet in the beginning
Your videos, and how u time the music gives me chills somtimes, great video
Yes, a very nice treat for a Sunday afternoon. Thanks for the video. Did you see Scott Manley's recreation attempt? He accidentally predicted what would happen when his grappler failed. Some called him a prophet, but most called him a jinx.
Beautiful video, and great little probe you built!
Once again your editing and ksping? astounds me. Awesome!
Great stuff Nassault! The comet song is really intriguing... and also quite creepy ^^
WOW that's the sound from the 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko!! You are amazing
you gave me goosebumps.
as always.
FANTASTISCH!
Thanks Max
:)
Nassault Woooow, wacht even... Nederlander?
Great wordplay in the craft names :D
For those not getting this: the irl names were Rosetta and Philae ...
Beautiful.... haunting.
Fillet... made me hungry actually :D Masterpiece!!!
lol I made a satellite mod for KSP that has a "ksa" logo on a folding dish. It's called BoxSat for anyone who is interested. Although currently it's on a bit of a dev hold due to some medical stuff I'm going through. Great vid Nassault.
Feel better James
really like boxsat! Thank you and take care.
Grate, grat, grate work! You can go places!
That was beautiful.
You did this once again
Awesome movie! Не сбавляй обороты, чувак!
this just looks awesome
I always think Kubrick would not do better! Great clips!!
what is the name of the song at 3:50
Nice work :) very beautiful !
Beautiful, as always ;-)
3:13 *ahem*, what was that clicking noise, heard in vacuum? :P
Thank you, awesome video as always
Thank you Sterby!
Wonderful video
AIES pack! One of my favorites, still using it today.
European Space Agency, ESA look at this beauty!
God, the sounds that Comet 67Kwhatever makes are creepy! But at the same time they are SO COOL! :D
Can you put the crafts used in these videos up for download. They are amazing! 😃
amazing work, keep on going :)
Oh my god Nassault, that was really great! Thank you!
Somebody with a twitter account has to tweet that to Emily Baldwin! (@AstroEmz She's part of the Rosetta media communication team)
(And you did remove that folding of the solar panels before hibernation :-) )
Nicely done :D
Love this vid Nass, you've got a knack of picking good tracks to use for score. =] Which leads me to my query, what is the tune used at 3:36 please?
Very nice!
How did you get the comet? i looked up Rareden but didn't find too much
Those calculations must have been staggering
Got a good chuckle out of Fillet = Philae :P
What is the second song called
ESA should feature this movie on their website! xD Nice work!
i like how you added the mysterious sound that is emitted by the gravitational force of the comet after the Rosetta probe rendevous with it it the beggining of the video
"Risotto & Fillet", hahaha - loving the name! I enjoyed watching this recreation and I though the bounce on the lander was a nice touch considering the Philae lander did that too. By the way, does anyone know if Philae has re-gained power or if it's still in deep hibernation?
It was too deep into a cliff to have enough light to regain power.
Discount "Time" from 5:47 on?
Hibernation is hibernation.
Nassault
wow, that was strange. I was aactually talking about the song. I just realised it starts at 5:47...
Nassault, can you tells us what song you use at 5:47? This is driving me nuts :P
Can you create a episode about the movie Contact? I know that the movie is old, but I'd like to see him in the kerbal world.
Very good video here.
But Ariane-5 uses SRBs, not LFBs, you know... ...
Thanks, It also was not launched from the arctic
Nassault True... ...But hey, it's a pretty sight in the Arctic with EVE, despite the fact Rosetta was not launched from there.
Really liked this one! What were the rocket parts used in this?
Typo in the desc. planing should be planning.
All that hard work to have the first comment be only about a typo on the description. :(
Nassault I loved the video btw.
Nassault Look on the bright side, it was useful info and not just "OMG LOL FIRST". xD
(I loved it too :3)
Camicus - Valid.
Nassault bravi dude bravo you made my Monday morning start off with a smile. I saved it tell today
0:33 That sound seems familiar...
Contact :p
Conceited98 I thought so!
slick!
How did you get the comet into the game is that a part or a texture and height map for asteroids?
BTW if the lander probe is called "Fillet", is the big probe is called "Risotto"?
If this isn't pro, then I don't know what pro is anymore.
Nassault Hey, I think I know where you get some of your music from it's called The Music Bed anyway if you don't use it I highly recommend it to you.

I finally understand why its called Fillet...
what are the mods you use?
Meanwhile some poor scientist at the R&D facility is attacked on social media for wearing a t-shirt with female kerbals on it.
Here comes Berta Lovejoy
Nassault She's the only one of the /r/redditarmie trolls I like.
MonkeyTardis Me too. Her trolling is hit or miss, but when it hits she absolutely baits by the hundreds
Nassault Most of them hit rather than miss. So many people get mad at them. I don't know if I find it funny or sad.
The Contact Cameo Tho.... 10/10 Nass.
what mods are you using? you never say, but i am always wondering. this one especially.
Hey, could you put the mods you use for each video in the description of them? Some of them look really good, and I don't know how to find them besides curse.com
What mods did you use in this?
Lol Contact beeps at the beginning. HAHAHAHHA! I'm such a nerd.
What mods do you use in your KSP movies Nassault?
both names made me hungry... then i realize i was eating iron

Nassault I liked the music.
Nassault speaking of the music, I can't find the last song (from 5:55) in the credits and it's beautiful, what is it ? Amazing work btw
Nassault

I felt it was strange, but it didn't destroy the atmosphere of the video for me.
looks like the map from bf4
I hope when comet comes closer to sun NASA will be able to use lander again.
*****
Ou... well , somehow i never heard who sent mission away. Good i know now.
i got hungry by looking at the title
Great Video, Though the title made me hungry so I need every chicken here :P
What song is it? Because i looked up everything and couldnt find it.
at the end the deep space kraken got them.
Too bad the autotranslation does not work :D
Nice Video Nassault :)
Why? Kerbals speak in reverse Spanish or something like that...
ESA may be like yor parodies!
Rosetta and Philae.
I just can't land on an asteroid 😔 I even made it all the way to Jool but I CANT GET TO AN ASTEROOOIIIDDD D:
Under 1 hour club
Have a cookie, this was good.
I had fish for dinner tonight.
Also, what was the clicking sound?
Oscillations in the magnetic field of the comet.

LAWL nice title
