- Yoga for Neck, Shoulder, and Upper Back Pain - this 20 minute stretch session that beginners to advanced yogis can benefit from, will focus on relieving pain, tightness, or tension in the neck, shoulders and upper back areas. When we wake up with a crick in our neck, maybe even have tight, sore shoulder muscles from an intense workout session, or even just experience back pain from our duties at work, this deep stretch session can benefit you greatly! Yoga can be used in conjunction with a hike, cardio session, strength workouts, or more, OR can be used as its own full body stretch session that can leave you feeling flexible, loose, and ready for your day! Thank you Jen, that was so good! Frankly, more impactful than expected… didn’t think a 20min sitting practice will get me so buzzing and warmed up! Those exercises are interesting in how they target/work on such specific parts of upper torso. Though i am not extremely tight in those areas, having been teaching daily 3hrs on zoom for the past 10 days i’ve accumulated multiple small tension areas that this session helped identify and release. Need a repeat in few days :-) Namaste.
